“Suzanne F has been a wonderful dog walker. Penny is eager to see her every time she shows up at our door. We are happy that Suzanne can handle Penny's occasional hard pulling and takes her for long walks to burn off enough energy so that Penny can relax when she returns to our apartment.”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and starting at 11 I began dog and cat sitting. I've cared for pets with all sorts of needs and temperaments, and individual accomadation and flexibility are very important to me. I love animals, and taking care of animals, and I can't wait to meet your babies and give them the high quality care they deserve! I'm currently in business school part time after getting my bachelors degree, so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to accomodate most requests - your pets comfort and safety are my top priorities! I do not offer services in my home, as my cat is not very friendly with other animals, but in my own home I have fully enclosed outdoor spaces for my cat, multiple litter boxes, high quality food, and endless toys and cat trees. My cat's health and wellbeing are the utmost importance to me, and I will bring that same level of care and attention to your pets, however their routines and environments differ from our own!
“Sam was highly reliable, showing up on time or texting us if she thought she might be a little late. Our beagle mix can be challenging on a walk because of her tendency to stop and sniff so many inviting smells in the grass. Sam just took it in stride. She obviously has a lot of experience walking dogs.”

About: I’ve always have pets in my life since I was young. I’ve cared for cats, dogs of all sizes, fish, birds, mice, hamsters, rabbits, turtles and small snakes. I promise to love your pets as much as you do! I work a PT with a rotating schedule alternating AM and PM availability. I’m more than happy to accommodate to meet any specific time constraints! I have a small fenced in yard and access to large grassy areas for exercise if boarding at home. I’m very respectful of personal property and will follow any specific directions left to care for you home as well as your pets.
“I cannot stress enough how FABULOUS Marina is. She is so gentle and soft spoken and my Aussie who is quite particular about people ADORES her which speaks volumes. She is prompt, thorough and genuinely cares about your furry family members. I am forever grateful for her help with my beloved dog Milo and would recommend her a bazillion times. I am so happy to have found her and look forward to continuing our relationship. 😃”

About: Hi! I am tehya, and i am a student at Towson University! I am the one that will mainly be watching your pup, but if at any time i have to leave, i have 3 dog loving roommates who would be more than happy to help! I am a college athlete, so keeping your dog in shape and going on walks or playing is nothing to ever worry about. And since my classes are only an hour long, thats as long that they would theoretically be alone. I am on the cheer team so I do have practices 3 days a week from 6:30 pm to 9:30. One of my roommates is not on the team so while I am out she will be with your pup! there will always be someone home taking care of your baby. There is a doggy area in my apartment and the complex is very dog friendly. I live in a spacious 4 bedroom apartment with quite a large open living room and kitchen area. I have little gates and have carpeted bedrooms but hardwood everywhere else.

“Ugo does an exceptional job walking my pup (who apparently considers humans to be her butlers) and then watering and feeding her at the conclusion of the walk. She is very calm and gentle to which my dog responds well. She is definitely a dog whisperer. Highly recommend Ugo to care for your for babies.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Towson
Erin was fabulous. She was attentive during the meet and greet, was flexible on trying different combinations of walking and yard time, and gave excellent feedback- which I was able to share with another Rover sitter who was helping on additional days during our trip. I especially like the map of the walk. That is very helpful to me as the dog owner to gauge the level of activity. I highly recommend Erin

Carys was great with Harley! She always gave her long walks, was super kind, responsible, and easy to talk to. Communication was always great and I always felt comfortable knowing Harley was in good hands. You can tell she really cares about the dogs she works with. I would definitely recommend her!

Casey showed good reviews on Rover! I am happy to reinforce those reviews. Casey is a personable, knowledgeable, kind and caring person about dogs. She has had the privelidge of caring for my special friend because she has earned it and deserves high accolades. I am grateful for Casey in caring for my beloved Labrador. you can't go wrong with her care.

Sophie was wonderful with my pup!! She was kind, patient, and it was clear she genuinely cares about animals. What I appreciated most was her flexibility. She was willing to meet with me and my dog on short notice, which meant a lot!! She was friendly, reliable, and her communication was top tier. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker. I am rebooking her right now :)

Jackie has been great with our dog June! Our regular dog walker moved away last minute and we were scrambling to find someone to help us out. Jackie has been a godsend! She is reliable, proactive, responsive, and takes our dog for long walks! We would absolutely recommend her services to anyone looking for a dog walker :)

We are so glad we found Emily! She has been a consistent dog walker for our pup when we’re both working in the office. Our dog is a bit anxious, but she warmed up to Emily quickly and now loves when she sees her for her walks! Emily is responsive, punctual, friendly, and even sends us photos from her time with our pup. Highly, highly recommend Emily!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
