About: I have taken care of pets for most of my life, (dogs and cats).. Our last dog lived to be almost 17 due to great care and love. I welcome any pets. i will care for them as they are mine. I am a retired nurse practitioner and home most hours of each day. We live in a dog walking community and close to parks ideal for long walks. Loch Raven Reservoir is close to our home with many great trails. I have a fenced yard with a pool. I would not leave any dog alone in the yard, our neighborhood is great for walking. I will only take pets friendly to children.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animal since I was a baby! Growing up, I was always asked if I lived on a farm because of all the pets we had (I did not, but it felt like one). This includes large and small dogs, cats, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, ducks, guinea hens, snakes, a turtle, and fish. Being surrounded by all these animals while growing up has made caring for animals come naturally to me. Currently, I do not have any pets where I live, but I still consider my two cats and a large yellow English lab as my pets! Although I am new to Rover, I have years of experience of pet sitting various types of animals of all ages. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and am very active, so I would make sure to spend plenty of quality time taking them on long walks or when stopping in for a visit :) I also love spending time with cats and other animals, so I would always be free for a drop in! I am currently a nursing student on summer break, so I am free for drop-ins and walks whenever needed, and am very flexible to last-minute requests. I am available mostly during the weekdays at any time, and some weekends as well. When in your home, I will follow your normal routine with your pet closely to make sure they feel comfortable and loved, whether that is long walks around the neighborhood/on a trail, visits to the park, special treats, or anything else they might enjoy.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 2. I have looked after dogs, cats, and guinea pigs of various ages since 12. I love caring for pets and have a dog of my own! I also volunteer at animal shelters when I have the chance. I’m working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pet! During summer I will especially have loads of availability. About: I am an enthusiastic and active animal lover with over 20 years experience. We live across from the Loch Raven reservoir within walking distance of many hiking trails. We enjoy playing with our pets in our fenced in backyard as well as taking nature hikes on the many trails across from us. Growing up, we had a dog and two cats. About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Consequently, I started pet sitting about 15 years ago when I was still in high school. Taking care of my friends' and neighbors' pets helped me raise money for summer service trips. Michelle has been super communicative and prompt when responding to requests. She's kind and patient with Artie abd has been more than flexible with her time. Artie has a very small circle of people that he trusts, so generally it takes a long time for him to warm up to new friends. Michelle was able to put the leash on him and walk him immediately, which is no small feat. Michelle will be house sitting for us soon, and it makes me feel relieved to know Artie will be in good hands.
We loved having Michelle sit for Penny! The whole experience was completely seamless. Michelle followed Penny's normal walking routine perfectly, so Penny barely noticed we were gone. She is super responsive and wonderful with updates. We will absolutely be booking her again!
Ugo does an exceptional job walking my pup (who apparently considers humans to be her butlers) and then watering and feeding her at the conclusion of the walk. She is very calm and gentle to which my dog responds well. She is definitely a dog whisperer. Highly recommend Ugo to care for your for babies.

She was attentive during the meet and greet, was flexible on trying different combinations of walking and yard time, and gave excellent feedback- which I was able to share with another Rover sitter who was helping on additional days during our trip.
