About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve had dogs since I was a baby, love dog sitting, and volunteered for three years with Passport Rescue at Petco, where I spent hundreds of hours caring for cats. About: I've had cats since I was a child and love dogs. I've never owned a dog, but I love to spend time with them and give them the attention they need. I am experienced in giving cats liquid medication and pills. I can schedule walks, and check-ins usually anytime in the morning and then after 4 pm in the afternoon on weekdays and usually whenever on weekends. I love walking and with a dog, it's even better. I also love to meet new kitties and can handle medication administration if needed as well. Having cats most of my life has provided me with much joy and respect for animals. I provide my three cats with a litter robot, dry and wet food at meal times, two water fountains, and meds for one cat every day. About: I have had about 5 dogs in my life, all of different breeds. I love being around them, they are all sweet and unique in their own way! I am available during the weekends, as I do work through out the week. It allows me to properly focus on other tasks, such as taking care of pets. About: Growing up, I was always around dogs and developed a strong love for them. I have owned German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, and German Shorthaired Pointers. I have always walked, and fed the dogs in the house. I work early mornings and am finished before noon, so I have plenty of time during the day to care for pets. Michelle has been super communicative and prompt when responding to requests. She's kind and patient with Artie abd has been more than flexible with her time. Artie has a very small circle of people that he trusts, so generally it takes a long time for him to warm up to new friends. Michelle was able to put the leash on him and walk him immediately, which is no small feat. Michelle will be house sitting for us soon, and it makes me feel relieved to know Artie will be in good hands.
We loved having Michelle sit for Penny! The whole experience was completely seamless. Michelle followed Penny's normal walking routine perfectly, so Penny barely noticed we were gone. She is super responsive and wonderful with updates. We will absolutely be booking her again!
Erin was fabulous. She was attentive during the meet and greet, was flexible on trying different combinations of walking and yard time, and gave excellent feedback- which I was able to share with another Rover sitter who was helping on additional days during our trip. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
