About: There is nothing I love more than spending time with and taking care of animals. I have owned a plethora of pets in my lifetime. Over the years I have helped take care of 15 rabbits, three dogs, four cats, and a bearded dragon. For nearly all day every day of the past 14 months (and the majority of the past 3 years) I have watched and taken care of an elderly cat and two dogs, one of whom is hyperactive and very anxious. I have lots of experience building relationships of trust with fearful dogs. My childhood dog was deeply traumatized as a pup, but with effort and love she ended up living a full and wonderful life of joy for 15 years! My best friend's dog was aggressive, fearful, and deeply untrusting. It took years of patience and work to get to this point, but we ended up being extremely close and I was dubbed one of his favorite humans! My current dog has a lot of quirks and anxiety, and it has been truly incredible watching her grow and open up to love. I adore everything about caring for pets, even the messy and hard parts. It doesn't matter if they are misbehaving or causing mischief, I always find joy and fulfillment in meeting their needs and working with them. I have experience taking care of a dog with heartworms, keeping her heart rate slow, for 3-4 months. I have experience from when my cat was in recovery from surgery; I administered her medication, fed her by hand, and cleaned her stitches. My dogs love to roughhouse but can sometimes go too far, and I am good at keeping calm and leading the situation if injuries occur. The wellbeing of animals is everything to me, and I will always do my best to make sure pets are getting the love and care they deserve. Animals are just about my favorite part of life! From August 2024 to June 2025, I worked at Best Friends Furever as a dog handler. Unfortunately, a few months after I left my job in 2025, I had a health incident that set me back a bit; now that I’m on the mend, I am looking for an opportunity to start living a more active and fulfilling life again. I have a lot of free time because of this disability, and now that I have strength back I want to utilize this to do something good. I will work hard and do my best! I will adopt whatever schedule and routine your dog requires; I have experience and training in all kinds of pet care, so there is no such thing as too high maintenance! We could not have asked for a better sitter than Sejal. She took care of my Boston Terrier after a last minute request, and sent regular pictures and updates. She went above and beyond when Mavis had a health emergency. Sejal took her to the Pet ER and stayed with her for 7 hours, keeping me updated the whole time. Her communication is top notch, and the love and care she had for Mavis was apparent. I cannot recommend Sejal enough for anyone needing a dog sitter.
Absolutely wonderful! For starters, my three dogs loved her! Even the one who is a little grumpy. She stayed in our house for three nights and looked after our dogs while there. She was very communicative, prompt, and respectful of our home! It looked like no one had even stayed there. Would love to book her services again (if our diaper dog didn't scare her off)!
Lara was AMAZING! This was our first time using Rover so we were a little apprehensive but Lara went above and beyond with our pups. Our Golden had a few health issues pop up right before we left for vacay but Lara took great care of her and administered all of the meds every day to ensure she was well on her way back to full health by the time we got home. I had Mitchell house sit my 120-130lb bernese, Disco, for an overnight while my wife and I were part of a wedding which would really occupy most of our attention. Mitchell is a guy that's easy to trust, easy going, and follows directions well. Disco loved him and seemed to have a great time because hes very tired today. Mitchell took him for several walks through the woods in our property, including down to the stream where disco likes to drink the majority of his water like a camel. We got photos of their adventure all day and while I didn't have time to respond it was good to look at my phone and know hes having a good time instead of just laying by the door waiting for us to come home. I would absolutely recommend Mitchell to other people and hope to book him again when we need him.
Tara came through within a day when our petsitter had to cancel for medical reasons, two days before our travel. Very quickly she gave us confidence that she could take care of a big dog and two cats - and she did! We got regular updates and pictures showing happy, content pets and when my flight was delayed, she came back to walk the dog that night, without hesitation. To us, it's all about the pets and their care and safety, and without hesitation I would use Tara again.
She is great we have 3 dog and 2 of them can be a little problematic, one is super anxious and bites when she is scared.... But for Suzanne it was just another day. Suzanne is very good a getting back to you as soon as possible, you are getting a true professional sitter vs someone who does it as a hobby.
