About: I’m currently training to be a therapist so I have a keen sense for emotions… pets included! I’ve dog sat for family numerous times and am hoping to branch out. I love being around animals, am a very easy guest, and will happily send you any pictures of your pets! I have class 1-9pm on Monday and Wednesday but am mostly free otherwise! I get up early to swim twice a week (Fri and Sat), but can go straight back if needed. I don’t do much, so I’m pretty open! I’m willing to do whatever I can to help the pet feel safe and welcomed. About: I have been caring for cats and dogs of all ages for the majority of my life, from young animals to seniors. I base my care on each animal's specific needs by listening to what you tell me at the meet and greet and, later, my own experience. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I foster and work in the cat room and the nursery with puppies and kittens. Through the shelter, I have taken several trainings to increase my skills in body language, enrichment, first interactions and more! I hope to continue to build my skills at the shelter. Through the shelter, my own pets and the pets I sit for, I have experience with giving medication--both pills and needles. While I try to keep a pet's routine, I even have a few tricks I've learned through the years to make medicating less stressful! My schedule is fairly flexible! I'm always willing to work with my petsitting families to ensure each pup or cat is well taken care of! I follow your routine in your home to ensure the pup or cat feels as safe as possible. Animals miss their families when you're gone, and I try to make that time as easy as possible by keeping them on their schedule!

About: Hello! I am in my fourth year of undergrad at Louisiana state university studying animal sciences on the pre veterinary track! In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks, trying new coffee and working in the reproductive medicine lab at LSU. I am currently doing research on Bovine IVF! I live with two dogs of my own: a jack Russell and an Australian cattle dog mix! Back home, we have 3 dogs, 1 cat and 2 horses:) I’ve had pets all my life! In high school and during breaks, I house sat and did dog walks all the time! I have lots of experience with all types and sizes:) I also have lots of experience working in a companion animal veterinary clinic! I am currently taking web-based summer classes, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to your pet(s). Whether they need walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, or extra attention throughout the day, I am able to provide attentive and reliable care to fit their routine. I do not spend nights, but can be over for drop ins as early as 5:30 am and as late as 11:30 pm. I am deeply committed to my pets’ well-being and consistently prioritize their needs. My partner and I also have a room full of fish tanks, both fresh and saltwater, so finned friends are no problem.
