“Kelly watched our whole pack, 2 great Danes and our foster dog who needed meds and special attention. We are very happy with the care she provided and our house was well respected. We would definitely use her again!”

“This was my first time having Jackie house sit and care for my two loving, energetic doggies. She is amazing. She made sure that I had a carefree vacation sending me pics and updates which put my mind at ease while I was away. She was very attentive and genuinely interested in providing the best care for my babies in my absence. I came home to a clean home and happy doggies. If I could give her 6 stars I would.”

“Can’t say enough positive things about Raimey! She’s taken care of my two kitties a few times now. Most recently one of my babies was a little sick and required medication two times a day. I was a bit nervous with this falling around the time I was travelling but Raimey made me feel very comfortable and handled it like a pro. She’s great with animals and gives regular updates throughout the day! I highly recommend her for your pet needs ☺️”

“Zana was wonderful. She communicated with me throughout with ease. She sent photos and was an excellent sitter with my pup and kitties. Highly recommend.”

“Josephine was reliable and responsive. She very clearly adores animals and this was like a vacation for my dog to walk and hang out with her overnight. Would definitely book again.”

“Karenna did an amazing job caring for our dog! She was super communicative, sending photos and asking about a few behavioral things to make sure everything was on track. She also checked in on a house issue (some ants had made their way inside) and was prepared to deal with it. I would highly recommend Karenna, and hope we get a chance to book her again sometime soon!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and understand the care, attention, and patience they need to stay happy and healthy. Through caring for my own dogs over the years, I have experience with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and recognizing when a dog may need extra attention or care. I am dependable, responsible, and committed to providing a safe, loving environment while your pet is in my care. I will treat your dog like one of my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. As a teacher on summer break, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pet's care. I enjoy being active and love taking dogs on long walks, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I will work to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand the importance of patience, supervision, and following each pet's individual needs and routines. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and, with owner permission, can take friendly and social dogs to local dog parks for additional exercise and enrichment. I will provide plenty of attention, affection, and updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands while you're away.
“Connie provided excellent care for our two dogs and two cats while housesitting. She sent daily updates and photos and everyone always looked so happy and content. She went above and beyond to tidy up and provide plenty of exercise for our two pups. She is professional, communicative, and a true animal whisperer!”
“Lois goes above and beyond. She genuinely cares about our dog PeeWee and it shows. It’s great to get pictures and videos of their time together. Our dog loves it when she watches him. We couldn’t be happier.”

I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and personality to help them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away.
“Jeff was amazing!! Our dogs were so happy having him there for them (as were we)! About: I’m currently training to be a therapist so I have a keen sense for emotions… pets included! I’ve dog sat for family numerous times and am hoping to branch out. I love being around animals, am a very easy guest, and will happily send you any pictures of your pets! I have class 1-9pm on Monday and Wednesday but am mostly free otherwise! I get up early to swim twice a week (Fri and Sat), but can go straight back if needed. I don’t do much, so I’m pretty open! I’m willing to do whatever I can to help the pet feel safe and welcomed. Whether they want to play, rest, eat, or walk, I’m happy to help them out!

“I needed to go out of town for the day and wanted someone to spend more time with Millie than just periodic walks. Imani was perfect. She accepted the job at the last minute. She is a great communicator and very kind. Millie did great and I could enjoy my day. Thank you, Imani!”

About: I have been caring for cats and dogs of all ages for the majority of my life, from young animals to seniors. I base my care on each animal's specific needs by listening to what you tell me at the meet and greet and, later, my own experience. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I foster and work in the cat room and the nursery with puppies and kittens. Through the shelter, I have taken several trainings to increase my skills in body language, enrichment, first interactions and more! I hope to continue to build my skills at the shelter. Through the shelter, my own pets and the pets I sit for, I have experience with giving medication--both pills and needles. While I try to keep a pet's routine, I even have a few tricks I've learned through the years to make medicating less stressful! My schedule is fairly flexible! I'm always willing to work with my petsitting families to ensure each pup or cat is well taken care of! I follow your routine in your home to ensure the pup or cat feels as safe as possible. Animals miss their families when you're gone, and I try to make that time as easy as possible by keeping them on their schedule!
About: Hello! I am in my fourth year of undergrad at Louisiana state university studying animal sciences on the pre veterinary track! In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks, trying new coffee and working in the reproductive medicine lab at LSU. I am currently doing research on Bovine IVF! I live with two dogs of my own: a jack Russell and an Australian cattle dog mix! Back home, we have 3 dogs, 1 cat and 2 horses:) I’ve had pets all my life! In high school and during breaks, I house sat and did dog walks all the time! I have lots of experience with all types and sizes:) I also have lots of experience working in a companion animal veterinary clinic! I am currently taking web-based summer classes, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to your pet(s). Whether they need walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, or extra attention throughout the day, I am able to provide attentive and reliable care to fit their routine. I do not spend nights, but can be over for drop ins as early as 5:30 am and as late as 11:30 pm. I am deeply committed to my pets’ well-being and consistently prioritize their needs. Because I understand how important routine is for my own pets, I make sure yours stay on the schedule they’re used to.

About: I've grown up around animals (cats, dogs, & snakes) and actively cared for them for as long as I can remember! I currently own 2 cats and foster three more, one of whom has special needs. My partner and I also have a room full of fish tanks, both fresh and saltwater, so finned friends are no problem. I have owned reptiles previously, so I am open to a wide variety of pets (or plants) in all shapes and sizes. My availability is very open, since pet-sitting is my primary job. Weekends or weekdays work equally well for me. I will structure my schedule around whatever pet I am house-sitting for, to give you the peace of mind that they're healthy and happy while you aren't home. Each animal is unique— I love spending quality time with them so I can get to know their individual personalities and quirks. I enjoy putting in the extra effort to earn their trust. I am experienced with elderly pets, and can give medications if necessary. I can help maintain long-haired pets' coats. I have seen all sorts of pet-related messes, and I have no problem cleaning them up. I will gladly learn the needs of each pet, and adapt to make them as comfortable as possible while you're away!
Long Green pet parents share their Rover experiences
Brooke was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was well cared for and she communicated with me everyday. I got lots of pictures and updates on my dogs medication and food and walks. I had never left my dog with someone I didn’t know before, and Brooke made me feel so comfortable. I couldn’t be happier! She also stayed at my home while I was away and left everything super nice and neat, and took great care of everything while I was away. Truly 10/10!!!
