About: Since the day we moved in, there have always been cats living in my house. We began with sisters Shadow and Uh-oh, then adopted Madeline from a neighbor, followed years later by strays Oreo and Marshmallow. More recently, we took in a stray named Grey, followed by three kittens Ziva, Gibbs, and Ducky - yes, they're named after NCIS - putting us at six current cats in the house. We also care for many outdoor strays which we feed and care for. I have raised multiple cats since they were just a few weeks only. “Maya was fantastic. She took such good care of our 3 kitties for 2 weeks. She went out of her way to make sure they were ok during the snowstorm and cold. She gives them attention (plays, grooms etc), and ensures they eat, have fresh water, checks their wellbeing. (Also the litterboxes were well maintained - she even put the garbage out) We are impressed - her compassionate care and love for our furries shows through everything she did — in addition she looks after your house (all is clean, plants were checked, etc…)- (we had water issue she reported immediately and helped clear) . She communicates frequently and keeps you posted — in a nutshell if you look for someone for your pet — we would not hesitate to recommend Maya and certainly hope she is available for our next trip. Mylo also plays very well with other dogs :) I work from home so taking care of an additional pet is no problem ! We usually go out first early in the morning , eat and start the day. About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs.
