I'm a pet owner too, so I know how important it is to stick to your pet's routine and send plenty of updates so you can relax. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible schedule. My campus is only a 10-minute drive away, which means I can easily come home to check on your pet every 2-4 hours, or as often as needed. My neighborhood has plenty of green spaces and safe areas, perfect for long walks and playtime. About: I’ve been surrounded by animal since I was a baby! Growing up, I was always asked if I lived on a farm because of all the pets we had (I did not, but it felt like one). This includes large and small dogs, cats, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, ducks, guinea hens, snakes, a turtle, and fish. Being surrounded by all these animals while growing up has made caring for animals come naturally to me. Most importantly, Steven reads dogs very well, he thinks and “speaks dog”..He is just very tuned in -it is a rare talent. My dog Jake has spent numerous weekends with Steven and comes back happy, healthy and secure. And anytime I drive him over to Steven’s neighborhood, he gets so excited. Clearly there is good stuff going on here! (Never an issue of any sort except that Steven is popular with dog owners, so reserve early…)”

About: I’m someone who has had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets wasn’t just a part of my life—it was my life. My Dad taught biology and always was bringing all kinds of pets home for us. From early mornings filled with wagging tails to quiet nights with a furry friend curled up beside me, caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Today, that love continues with my two dogs, who are truly part of everything I do. They go everywhere with me. They go boating and camping with me as well. They’re not just pets; they’re family, and they’ve helped shape a home that’s full of warmth, comfort, and lots of tail wags. When I am not working, you’ll usually find me at home spending quality time with my fur babies—whether it’s going on long walks, playing, or just enjoying cozy snuggles on the couch. My home is calm, loving, and pet-friendly in every way. I would absolutely love the opportunity to care for your fur babies as if they were my own. Whether they need a place to stay, extra attention, or just some good company, they’ll be welcomed with open arms (and plenty of treats and cuddles!). Your pets deserve a safe, happy place—and I’d love to be that for them. I work full time, but like to be home with my babies when I am not working. Outside of that I am spending time with my fur babies. In My Home (Boarding/Daycare): Pets staying with me become part of the family. I maintain a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment where they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. My two friendly dogs are well-socialized and used to having other pets around, helping visiting pets feel comfortable and included. There’s always time for walks, play, and lots of snuggles. In Your Home (Drop-ins/House Sitting): When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent to reduce stress. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or yard clean-up, and medication if needed. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy while you’re away. I send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. No matter the service, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of love.

About: Hello! I am a veterinary technician of 8 years and pet owner of 20+ years who is highly experienced in animal care and petsitting. As a cat, horse, and previous dog owner myself I understand that our pets are our family! I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work part time hours and am off weekends and holidays. I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. Pets will always have access to fresh water and toys and will be well loved while in my care!
