About: I’m currently training to be a therapist so I have a keen sense for emotions… pets included! I’ve dog sat for family numerous times and am hoping to branch out. About: I specialize with big dogs and elderly dogs. I'm a taller guy with a longer walking stride so larger dogs can get more for workout. My schedule is daily throughout the whole day. I normally like to plan 24 hours in advance but if my schedule is open I don't mind same day or last minute. Tuesday -Thursday from 11am-3pm I am not available I currently have no pets right now at my home I do have a rather large backyard. At the parents home, I do make sure that the pets are well fed and hydrated before leaving unless otherwise told.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. Dog walking was my first "job". I now have a pet of my own that is my world that i trained myself. Dog sitting/ taking care of animals is the best job out theree. I am currently returned from the peace corps and in between jobs. Taking care of your pets is a first step back into the work force. I had Mitchell house sit my 120-130lb bernese, Disco, for an overnight while my wife and I were part of a wedding which would really occupy most of our attention. Mitchell is a guy that's easy to trust, easy going, and follows directions well. Disco loved him and seemed to have a great time because hes very tired today. Mitchell took him for several walks through the woods in our property, including down to the stream where disco likes to drink the majority of his water like a camel. We got photos of their adventure all day and while I didn't have time to respond it was good to look at my phone and know hes having a good time instead of just laying by the door waiting for us to come home. I would absolutely recommend Mitchell to other people and hope to book him again when we need him.
Tara came through within a day when our petsitter had to cancel for medical reasons, two days before our travel. Very quickly she gave us confidence that she could take care of a big dog and two cats - and she did! We got regular updates and pictures showing happy, content pets and when my flight was delayed, she came back to walk the dog that night, without hesitation. Cassie was great with our pets while we were away. She was always quick to respond, very sweet, and clearly cared about them. We came home to happy pets and felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her care. Lois was wonderful! She took on our two beagles and walked them all over the neighborhood . She sent pictures religiously and some videos. House was probably cleaner than we left her when we got home. If we could give her more stars, we would. I think 10 would be appropriate.
This is the second time we have used Lauryn. My dog Autumn absolutely adores her. This was a two week break and she was happy to sit again for me and for my sister. I have two parrots and my sister has one. Lots of people won’t housesit for parrots. Lauryn has so no problem doing it. She is very reliable and gives you updates and pictures while you are away.
