They stayed overnight in my home with my two fur babies for 8 days and nights in the midst on one of my dogs needing personalized medicinal attention due to an infection he acquired right before we left to get married. Not only did I receive MANY photos and videos of my smiling, happy and playful pups, but I came home to a clean apartment, and two dogs who were clearly spoiled rotten as requested while we were away. About: I offer a variety of skillsets from my many years of animal care. I bring my experience from volunteering at my local humane society, whelping and training puppies, personal pet ownership, and hundreds of hours of pet-sitting experience. I am comfortable with senior and disabled pets and have experience administering oral, topical, and injected medications. While I know the training basics, I am also excited to learn more about how you approach training and handling your pet! I am a graduate student, and so I have a flexible schedule and weekday availability. I am currently most available Fri-Mon, though I am also able to work around my Tues-Thurs class schedule. I am a tidy person who treats folks' homes with care and respect, but I'm not intimidated by dog hair or cat litter! I am incredibly mindful of closing and locking doors, gates, or any other means of escape and like to keep the environment safe for pets by keeping any choking or food hazards out of sight. I always keep food and water bowls clean and inviting for all of those picky eaters and drinkers out there.

About: I care about making sure pets have a positive experience while their person is away! I work with them to earn their trust, listen to their cues, let them get lots of good sniffs on walks, and give them extra pets and playtime at home. I am getting back on Rover after some months off because of a new job, move, and long apartment hunt. I’m settled now and ready to find some new clients 🌷🌸 In addition to caring for my sweet childhood dog Peanut and my former housemate’s wonderful dog Vicki, I have done years of pet sitting jobs for neighbors, acquaintances, and friends! I frequently sit for my close friend’s pittie Copper. I am stronger than I look, but also aware of my limits, so I will work with you to assess whether I feel I can keep your large dog safe on a walk. When house sitting, I am neat, conscientious, and principled. It is imperative that you can safely entrust the care of your home to me. I will ask all the questions I have and follow all your routines to ensure your home and pets are well taken care of! I work part-time on weekends, usually afternoons and evenings Fri-Sun. I have ample time on weekdays to dedicate to quality walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. If you would like a house-sitting job to extend into the weekend, and would be okay with just overnight/morning visits, I am open to that as well! At your home, I will prioritize your requests and your pet’s care needs, and I will make sure to listen to their cues to help them feel safe and happy during my visits.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve been the go-to dog walker for friends and neighbors, and for over 4 years, I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter walking, bathing/grooming, and playing with dogs of all kinds. I really do love every dog I meet—big or small, young or old, energetic or more easy goin. When I’m with your dog, I’m fully present, making sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for until you’re back home! I work my day job Monday through Friday. So, I am available to be with your dog(s) in the afternoons starting around 1:00pm (exceptions occasionally)! I am comfortable using a crate, fencing, doggy doors, etc. to ensure the dog is comfortable and things can stay consistent / routine for them!
