“Linda came on very short notice and was right on time. She did a fantastic job with my little Tikki, who was very happy with her care. Thank you, Linda!”

“Lady and Khayri are perhaps the most gracious, caring, and best overall dog sitters I have had the experience of working with. They stayed overnight in my home with my two fur babies for 8 days and nights in the midst on one of my dogs needing personalized medicinal attention due to an infection he acquired right before we left to get married. Not only did I receive MANY photos and videos of my smiling, happy and playful pups, but I came home to a clean apartment, and two dogs who were clearly spoiled rotten as requested while we were away. I cannot day enough wonderfully positive things about these AMAZING ladies. If you’re a first time ROVER user like my husband and I were, I HIGHLY recommend Lady and Khayri. I can say with 200% certainty that my husband and I have found our new dog sitters! Thank you Lady and Khayri from all of us!!!”

“I’ve never been away from my dog for more than 3 days, and Hannah stayed with him for a whole week and made me feel extremely comfortable! She gave frequent updates and handled his specific needs super well. He can be a tough pup to watch and she was amazing. Highly recommend Hannah for pet sitting!”

“Ren took great care of our pup (and our house). We got pics while we were away and we could tell from our doorbell cam that Juniper was going out plenty and was happy and comfortable.”

“Highly recommend Dalara and Jack! Some people are “dog people” and they are exactly that! They cared for our two young golden retrievers as if they were their own (one who was sick). They were extremely responsive and provided consistent updates. We didn’t worry about our pups while we were gone, knowing they were in good hands. They went above and beyond in taking care of the house as a whole! Book them!”

“Desiree watched our fur fam for us over a long weekend. She went above and beyond what we asked in regards to care and walking! We got timely checkins, pics, and thoughtful updates. We will gladly use her services again in the future and highly recommend her if you’re looking for a genuine caregiver for your pets while you’re away.”

“Gavin was great. He loved our girls as much as we do!! He gave us constant updates on our girls along with pictures. He had to administer a last minute medication and did it successfully with care and love. He was neat and courteous of our home and I have already rebooked him for next weekend. I will not hesitate to book hm again in the future.”

“Ty is super helpful and communicative! And our cat loves him! Cat barely comes out to play with other sitters, but Ty always seems to entice our cat to play, and sends pics. Thanks Ty!”

“We have a very anxious kitty and have had a few not-so-great experiences leaving him with a pet sitter, which made US anxious to leave him this time for an eleven day trip to visit our kids. We need not have worried; Moriah was amazing with Addi: affectionate, responsible and so responsive (she sent updates, pics, and videos every day.) She was an absolute pleasure to work with and we will be sure to use her again for any upcoming trips. We recommend her wholeheartedly!”

“Roberta took amazing care of our cat while we were out of the country. She came by multiple times for drop-in visits, sent detailed daily updates, and plenty of pictures. Our cat gets very lonely when he’s left alone and Roberta made sure to play with him and give him lap time! We will definitely be booking with Roberta next time we go out of town.”

“Kathleen took great care of our senior cat and our home. She navigated some technical challenges with our alarm system with professionalism and good humor. Highly recommend. Will definitely re-book.”

About: I offer a variety of skillsets from my many years of animal care. I bring my experience from volunteering at my local humane society, whelping and training puppies, personal pet ownership, and hundreds of hours of pet-sitting experience. I am comfortable with senior and disabled pets and have experience administering oral, topical, and injected medications. While I know the training basics, I am also excited to learn more about how you approach training and handling your pet! I am a graduate student, and so I have a flexible schedule and weekday availability. I am currently most available Fri-Mon, though I am also able to work around my Tues-Thurs class schedule. I am a tidy person who treats folks' homes with care and respect, but I'm not intimidated by dog hair or cat litter! I am incredibly mindful of closing and locking doors, gates, or any other means of escape and like to keep the environment safe for pets by keeping any choking or food hazards out of sight. I always keep food and water bowls clean and inviting for all of those picky eaters and drinkers out there.

“Tracey is a wonderful sitter who treats my Helen as if she is her own. She is flexible with her time, organized when coordinating, and a good communicator. Helen wags her tail when she arrives so when she is happy I am happy!”

“Emily took such good care of my two senior dogs. Very kind and patient, and also left my house in great condition after house-sitting. I would definitely recommend and will contact for sitting in the future. Thanks, Emily!”

“I couldn’t be more grateful to have found Jade and Johnny to care for my sweet pit mix in my home. After having had 2 bad experiences with sitters, I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d be able to trust anyone outside of family again. Jade and Johnny were amazing in caring for my girl; she looked so happy in the photos I was getting! I knew upon meeting them that they were major dog lovers and would keep my sweet girl safe; I truly did not have one bit of anxiety for the duration of my trip. My home was also very well cared for. I would recommend Jade and Johnny to anyone in need of a sitter! Thank you guys SO MUCH!”

“Emily was wonderful to our boys! Very responsive, accommodating, and kept in touch throughout her stay. We loved that she was always outside playing with them as that’s their favorite thing to do!”

“Gloria was great with my two kitties. After our first meet and greet I immediately felt confident that she’ll be reliable. Leaving pets behind can always be a stressful process but I was very comfortable throughout. There was also a throw up incident while I was away and Gloria handled it immediately. She’s highly recommend and will definitely work with her again!”

About: I have a beautiful golden doodle, Arya, and a gorgeous orange cat, Frank, that I love dearly. I have lots of experience with both cats and dogs and would love to help you out :) I like running (up to 10 miles) so if you have an energetic dog that needs lots of exercise I’m your gal! I work a typical 9-5 ish job so happy to help before/after on weekdays and any time on weekends. Any day of the week works! I am happy to help with anything while maintaining your home and your privacy. I will be respectful of your home and all of your things!

About: I care about making sure pets have a positive experience while their person is away! I work with them to earn their trust, listen to their cues, let them get lots of good sniffs on walks, and give them extra pets and playtime at home. I am getting back on Rover after some months off because of a new job, move, and long apartment hunt. I’m settled now and ready to find some new clients 🌷🌸 In addition to caring for my sweet childhood dog Peanut and my former housemate’s wonderful dog Vicki, I have done years of pet sitting jobs for neighbors, acquaintances, and friends! I frequently sit for my close friend’s pittie Copper. I am stronger than I look, but also aware of my limits, so I will work with you to assess whether I feel I can keep your large dog safe on a walk. When house sitting, I am neat, conscientious, and principled. It is imperative that you can safely entrust the care of your home to me. I will ask all the questions I have and follow all your routines to ensure your home and pets are well taken care of! I work part-time on weekends, usually afternoons and evenings Fri-Sun. I have ample time on weekdays to dedicate to quality walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. If you would like a house-sitting job to extend into the weekend, and would be okay with just overnight/morning visits, I am open to that as well! At your home, I will prioritize your requests and your pet’s care needs, and I will make sure to listen to their cues to help them feel safe and happy during my visits.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve been the go-to dog walker for friends and neighbors, and for over 4 years, I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter walking, bathing/grooming, and playing with dogs of all kinds. I really do love every dog I meet—big or small, young or old, energetic or more easy goin. When I’m with your dog, I’m fully present, making sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for until you’re back home! I work my day job Monday through Friday. So, I am available to be with your dog(s) in the afternoons starting around 1:00pm (exceptions occasionally)! I am comfortable using a crate, fencing, doggy doors, etc. to ensure the dog is comfortable and things can stay consistent / routine for them!

12. Anna B.

“Anna is someone I would trust to do anything for me. If I was recovering from surgery, Anna would be the first person I would call. She is very clear headed, competent, capable, and caring. She does so well with my cat Megan, who is a very challenging cat due to her reactivity. Anna is able to both respect her boundaries and offer care when Megan asks for it, as well as react with compassion when Megan scratches. Anna is the first person I’d call if I needed something. She has done a good amount of time as my emergency contact. I also know she has done a lot of pet sitting in the time that I’ve known her, and I’ve always known her to be compassionate and good with animals. I also know she grew up surrounded by animals and has had some very loved and cared for animals of her own. I would 1000% recommend Anna for any pet care needed.”
