About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with 10 years of hands-on cat care, from daily feeding and litter maintenance to administering medication and creating calm, enriching environments. I also have 6 years of dedicated dog care, including walks, socialization, and reliable overnight stays. I bring patience, attentiveness, and a genuine affection for every pet I care for. I'm currently in grad school for mental health counseling online, so I'm seeking a position that aligns with my schedule. I will have plenty of time to give your dogs and cats plenty of love and attention. I will keep my eyes on your fur baby as long as I am with them. On any walks, I am very familiar with being aware of my surroundings and keeping away from possible threats.
“Our boys were well taken care of & our boys wild child got so many long walks to the school park. House was just as we left it. Can’t appreciate you more for spending time with our needy dogs who love having human company!”

“Emily took care of our recently adopted (reactive) dog and our two cats. This occurred around the snow/ice storm in February 2025, which caused havoc with walking the dog and being outside. Yet Emily was up to the task and we came home to a very happy dog and very happy cats! Also, when the dog got into some mischief in the house, Emily contacted me right away to let me know - which I 100% appreciated. Together we came up with a game plan. This was the responsible, honest, and careful way to proceed, which was great. I definitely would use Emily again.”

About: I’ve worked at and managed a dog boarding facility for a little over two years in downtown Baltimore. I also have a pit bull mix and a beagle. My beagle is 10 who’ve I had since she was a puppy and my pity is about 5 who’ve I’ve also had since a puppy. My beagle has currently had to undergo a lot of surgeries so I can certainly take care of any high maintenance or elderly dogs. I work a full time job but when sitting or having animals to care for they will get tended to in the morning before work, immediately after I am off and before I go to bed/home. The weekends I am always free. Pets will not be welcome in my home as I have too many animals and unknown factors associated with that. When entering a clients home I will make sure the pet can hear me entering the home as to not startle them. I will always let them sniff me and see who I am before any further approach. Any treats that are allowed to be given while owners are away I will give. It ultimately depends on the animal and what is communicated to me about the personality and behaviors. I will always Ask questions if I am unsure of anything and never assume something based off the way I care for my personal pets. Everyone has different instructions and I intend to honor them.
“Marissa was fantastic!! She kept me updated with lots of pictures, arrived timely, and was overall just perfect. I would certainly recommend her and look forward to having her visit with Daisy again.”

“Amy is such a sweetheart. Our boys were a handful and she was so patient and kind. Our pup wasn’t eating as much and with just 4 days with Amy he gained some weight!!! Will definitely book with her again. :)”

I can walk, play, and help with basic dog training. I will care for your pets as if they are one of my own and will closely follow any instructions given.
Riverside pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time using Rover, or any pet sitting service for our newly adopted rescue dog. We had to go out of town to attend a funeral very soon after adopting her. I was very nervous to leave her so soon. But Andrew made it much easier. He came to meet her, and was very professional. He asked questions about her schedule and what he needed to do for her. When I left, I left written instructions for him to keep her on as close of a routine as possible while we were gone. He followed our instructions and communicated with pictures to ease my mind. We came home to a happy and calm dog. I would 100% recommend Andrew if you are in need of a pet sitter. Thanks Andrew!

As helicopter millennial dog parents leaving our senior, velcro pup for the first time since we'd adopted him 6 months ago, we were very nervous. But, Abiyah was a wonderful sitter who communicated multiple times a day with photos and videos. Zeus was well taken care of and we would absolutely book with Abiyah again for future trips!

I have used a few different dog sitters from Rover, all wonderful, but Brittany is by far the best I've had to watch my dogs. She always asks the important questions, she is always very attentive, she is very personal and professional simultaneously, and she is very respectful. I think that the best factor is that my dogs are always content and happy when I return, they are not stressed or anxious, you can clearly see that they are comfortable with her. I will definitely request her help again and would recommend her to anyone.

We’ve used Naya twice now — she has been amazing at the complicated needs of our dog with idiopathic epilepsy. The dog gets so many meds per day and she needs very specialized care. Naya was extremely knowledgeable, willing, pleasant, and calm in working with us and our dog. We also have a puppy! Managing both dogs and their needs is a big ask. We struck gold with Naya — We will definitely be working with her again!

Gavin was exceptional watching our sweet pup! He was very proactive in communication & sending updates, and very responsive. Peu was well taken care of and he seemed very attentive to her needs. He did not shy away from her big personality (or the fact she is a 100 pound puppy), played well with her, and did an awesome job overall with her. Would definitely recommend!

Melissa was very caring and did an excellent job taking care of my dogs. She was on time and adapted my dogs’ schedule without any issues. Her communication was excellent and sent me pictures and videos of my dogs to keep me updated.i would most certainly use her services again.

Jenna was great house sitting with Addi when we went away for ten days. She responded promptly (both when I originally booked her and during the stay) and made sure to send us pics. :) She took good care of my daughter’s plants and left the house in perfect condition. We will for sure use her again.
