About: I have 4+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant with dogs and cats! I am capable of administering medication (oral, injectable, aural, ocular, etc.), routine check-ins, walks, and feeding. I have training in Fear Free and Low Stress handling and am particularly fond of our more anxious friends. My experience in veterinary medicine has given me experience monitoring/caring for pets with more complex medical conditions such as diabetes, hyper/hypothyroidism, arthritis, etc. I am open to caring for pets of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors! I am a full time student, so that does admittedly limit my availability. I am most available for quick check-ins, walks, or short-term in-home pet care in Baltimore. My experience in veterinary medicine has taught me so much about how to care for pets, especially those with fear and anxiety. I think that reading an animal's body language is incredibly important, and I take listening to your pet's communication very seriously. I tend to interact with animals in a calm demeanor, allowing the pet to tell me what they're comfortable with first. Every animal is an individual, so I take great care to evaluate how each pet wants to be interacted with to provide as low-stress an experience as possible!

Because of this, I’m also very comfortable caring for plants and maintaining a home while you’re traveling.
