“Kathleen took great care of our senior cat and our home. She navigated some technical challenges with our alarm system with professionalism and good humor. Highly recommend. Will definitely re-book.”

“Shania watched Gizmo for a few days and made sure all of his needs were met and sent me pics of a healthy, happy pup!! She also left my home immaculate. Would absolutely book in the future!”

“Naya handled all my dog could throw at someone new - from pooping in his crate to trucking her into extra play time outside, naya handled it all perfectly. When I got home, I literally had to reassure my fiance someone did take care of juicy- she left the house with no trace she was here, she only left behind a happy well loved pup! Will be booking naya again!”

“Christine is an amazing sitter. We have two small dogs (one is a puppy) and we were concerned about having them stay in someone else's home. Thankfully, we found Christine, who will come to your house to stay. She not only met, but exceeded our expectations. Rex and Rusty were well taken care of and our house was exactly the way we left it (if not cleaner). We will definitely be using Christine in the future!”

“Kaitlin is not only a natural animal lover, but also a very kind and responsible person. She stayed at our home and cared for our dogs during a snow storm that brought almost a foot of snow with it. She is an excellent communicator. I felt very comfortable traveling out of town knowing that she was taking great care of our dogs and home in our absence. 100% recommend her! 😊”

“Liz and Rich took amazing care of our recently adopted dog and our 2 cats. We came home to pets who were calm and happy and interactive - even our shy cat. To me, this is what it's all about, knowing your pets were well cared for and given lots of love. Will definitely use them again!”

“Emily took such good care of my two senior dogs. Very kind and patient, and also left my house in great condition after house-sitting. I would definitely recommend and will contact for sitting in the future. Thanks, Emily!”
“We just left our boy with Robert for the first time and it went great. He was excellent in communicating with us while we were away. We will definitely work with him again!”

“Emily did an amazing job with my senior dogs! I had a really good experience. She took time to get to know them and was extra careful handling them. Definitely recommend!”

“Thank you Kathleen for a great stay with our two pups! We are always a bit uneasy leaving our dogs overnight but there wasn’t a time where we had to feel worried about anything over the past 3 nights! Kathleen sent cute pics and updates of our pups, didn’t mind the occasional behavioral issue and was overall such a great sitter who we’d recommend to anyone!”
“Cashae was just great with my dog Buddha. She is patient and aims to do her best all the time. There was so much happening with my older dog during the time she was scheduled to watch him and he remained flexible and communicated. She asked questions and was willing to learn, and worked with me while i was away to find solutions. i can’t thank her enough for her service! she will most definitely be utilized in the future.”

“Samantha came over and dogsat for us over the weekend - Camden loved her! She took great care of him, sent lots of pictures/videos, and they had a great weekend. We highly recommend Samantha for any dog care you may need!”

About: I have hands-on experience with TNR, helping community cats get safely trapped, neutered, and returned, as well as assisting with finding loving homes when possible. I currently have two cats and one dog of my own and have also cared for family dogs over the years. This experience has helped me understand different personalities, routines, and care needs, allowing me to provide patient, compassionate, and reliable care. I work a standard 9–5 schedule during the week and am fully available evenings after 5pm. I’m also available all day on weekends for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and extended care. I have one friendly dogs and two cats in my home, plus a fully fenced backyard without grass. I’m happy to walk dogs around my quiet neighborhood and can crate pets if requested by owners for safety or routine.
“Emily was amazing, my boys loved her, and I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care. She was professional and very communicative, the daily photos helped so much. Even when encountering some unexpected issues (on my end) and with Atticus boycotting his meds, she handled them with grace and went above and beyond. I could not recommend Emily enough!”

About: I’ve worked at and managed a dog boarding facility for a little over two years in downtown Baltimore. I also have a pit bull mix and a beagle. My beagle is 10 who’ve I had since she was a puppy and my pity is about 5 who’ve I’ve also had since a puppy. My beagle has currently had to undergo a lot of surgeries so I can certainly take care of any high maintenance or elderly dogs. I work a full time job but when sitting or having animals to care for they will get tended to in the morning before work, immediately after I am off and before I go to bed/home. The weekends I am always free. Pets will not be welcome in my home as I have too many animals and unknown factors associated with that. When entering a clients home I will make sure the pet can hear me entering the home as to not startle them. I will always let them sniff me and see who I am before any further approach. Any treats that are allowed to be given while owners are away I will give. It ultimately depends on the animal and what is communicated to me about the personality and behaviors. I will always Ask questions if I am unsure of anything and never assume something based off the way I care for my personal pets. Everyone has different instructions and I intend to honor them.
“Madison took great care of my antisocial furbabies. She assisted me when I forgot to do a few things I mentioned when we met. To have the memory of a young person! I highly recommend her!”

“Great service for house sitting. It was my first time booking her, but she asked appropriate questions in order to understand my dog's needs. My dog warmed up to her and Vita was able to take care of her and feed and walk her while I was gone.”

Westgate pet parents share their Rover experiences
Shania has helped me out and taken great care of Gizmo, but none so much as this week. I was on vacation and we received an epic amount of snow and freezing temperatures. She encouraged Gizmo to eat when he was refusing, had to deal with Inside accidents because he refused to go outside, and walked him in many short bursts so he didn’t get dangerously cold. What a freaking rock star. If you’re not booking her then what are you even doing?

From the moment she came to visit to the day she left our house, Cashae was communicative, professional, and extremely pleasant. She was so easy to work with. Our dog loved her. And she left her house in perfect condition. We would rebook with her in a heartbeat.

We could not have asked for a better sitter than Lyndsay! She is kind, responsible, and responsive - and most importantly, took amazing care of our dog, cat and home while we were away for two weeks. She communicated regularly with pics and updates and we always felt like our pets were in good hands. We’ve used Rover a handful of times over the years and Lyndsay and this was by far our best experience.

Sean is a wonderful pet sitter. Not only did he take such great care of our two dogs, he also looked after our geckos and fish without complaint. Sean left our house spotless! He is a great communicator and sent daily pictures and updates. It is evident that Sean truly cares for animals, and I won't hesitate to ask Sean to watch our pets again in the future!

Emily was amazing, my boys loved her, and I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care. She was professional and very communicative, the daily photos helped so much. Even when encountering some unexpected issues (on my end) and with Atticus boycotting his meds, she handled them with grace and went above and beyond. I could not recommend Emily enough!

Carol was wonderful. We had a late notice dog sitter fall through and had to find someone for a week long trip. She house sat, sent photos of our pup which was amazing, and was open to coming over a day before to meet Holly and learn about the house. Definitely recommend.

Eli stayed with our dog over the course of this past week and was amazing! They made sure to take the best care of our girl while also leaving our house just the way we left it (we had an issue with a prior person). Eli made sure to keep us up to date, showered her with love, and was a great communicator. Highly recommend!!!

Johnita was amazing! This was the first time I'd left my cat with a sitter for longer than a few days, and I was nervous, but Johnita gave Lucy lots of love and played with her and sent me daily updates with pictures. She took such fantastic care of Lucy I thought she might not be as happy to see me! I highly recommend Johnita - she's reliable, warm, responsible, and caring; everything you want in the person who will care for your beloved pet!

Cecilie was amazing with our high energy German Shepherd. I get a bit nervous asking others to watch my dog because his size and energy level can intimidate people, but Cecilie took such good care of him and made sure he was well exercised. She truly went above and beyond. We couldn’t have been happier with her and I’d definitely request her again!
