I've spent years working with dogs in a variety of settings, from leading a 4-H dog training club to earning AKC sport titles with my own dog. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've completed dog CPR training and have hands-on experience providing emergency care for both dogs and farm animals while awaiting veterinary treatment. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality and love meeting new breeds. While I'm comfortable caring for all kinds of dogs, I have a special soft spot for hounds and large breeds. My goal is always to provide safe, attentive, and personalized care so your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. When your animals are in my care, they are my family too!

Pets cared for by me will enjoy close supervision. You can read a dogs needs if you are watching. On walks you can be sure that leash and harness safety are followed, as well as mitigating poor interactions with cars, people, and animals. I do like to incorporate good leash habits with dogs I care for, and only use positive reinforcement.

Sarah is an absolute dream with both of my pups. They both adore her and her husband and love playing in her yard. She is super attentive and sends me lots of pictures every time they are with her. You can really tell how much she cares for animals. We are so lucky we found her!

Sarah is the ideal pet sitter, I couldn't be happier with her services! She doesn't just watch or check in on your pets, she actively engages with them and their needs. Our dog is skittish with strangers and she was so kind and gentle and patient, now she's one of Blue's favorite people. Sarah builds a connection with your pets, going well above and beyond to learn their favorite treats and toys and if they like high energy or quiet calm. Finding someone to compare after she moved has been awful, none even come close to her level!

Schedule
Walks happen before I leave for work, when I get home, and before bed. Monday and Tuesday I'm home all day, Wednesday through Sunday I'm gone for no more than 7-8 hours for work. The rest of the time I focus on being with your pets!
