I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all sizes, from German Shepherds to Jack Russell Terriers, Brittany Spaniels, Pitties, and a whole lot of amazing mutts in between. My first job as a groomer gave me experience in providing care for all kinds of pups, and now, I’m the proud owner of a 2 year old Bernese! I truly enjoy working with dogs of all energy levels. I’m an active dog lover and enjoy hiking, walks, and playing with frisbees. I also love engaging dogs with enrichment toys to keep them entertained. I’m currently training my own dog, which has given me an even deeper understanding of how important it is to follow owner instructions and maintain consistency for a dog’s routine, I can administer oral and topical medications to your pet as needed. Our home has a fenced in yard on one side for safety and an open area on the other, we have a small wooded area dogs love to sniff and dig and that is what is for! I can’t wait to meet your puppies and offer them the care, attention, and fun they deserve!

My dog Lily had another great stay with Irene and family. Irene went above and beyond to pick up eardrops from our vet to make sure that Lily was comfortable after she started some itching behaviors. Outstanding communication and care as always!

Our cat was put on medication shortly before our trip and Irene was fantastic with administering it daily and sending picture updates of Lady Stardust. Irene is highly reliable and our shy senior cat has gotten really comfortable with her.
Just got home from an 11 day trip, and can commend Irene for giving our cat Ms. Alice the best care she could have received. First pet sitter we have used in a long time and Irene was perfect. By the 2nd or 3rd day Alice fell asleep on her lap, which she doesn’t do with anybody but me! I was so relieved it let me have a relaxing vacation, instead of worrying about how Alice was doing -Irene gave me reports and lots of pictures twice a day. Purr-fiction! Thanks so much Irene!!

Schedule
I have recently quit my job in Healthcare to pursue a new degree. I am mostly at home, I take online classes so even if I'm working on school, I do it from the comfort of my home. I walk my dog about 3 to 4 times a day, depending on the weather.

My house layout is very convenient, it's all in one floor and the house can be divided if your pup like to sleep in a bed we have a guest room and available bed, if you rather us to crate them we also have a 42 inches crate that is big enough for big size dogs. Our yard is fenced on one side. Every door has a second door so no animal runs away or bolt through doors. We have several baby gates.

A typical day
Every dog is different! I do personalized care. With some dogs it is ok to just have a long walk with lots of places to smell. Other dogs likes to have a more energetic type of interaction, with these dogs I like to play lots of "find the treat" games and playing fetch or some activity that requires the dog to run and jump or chase a rope toy.
