“Karenna did a great job at cat sitting while we were away, we couldn’t have left her in better hands. While our fluffball is very shy, she did her best to try and bond with her. Eventually got to pet her! Definitely would recommend.”

About: Hi there! I’ve had worked as a veterinary rehab assistant for 3 years, caring for both dogs and cats as they heal and recover. This experience has taught me so much about animal behavior, comfort, and how to give pets the patience and attention they deserve. At home, I’m also a proud cat mom to two sweet kitties, so I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family members. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or making sure they stick to their routines, I treat every pet like my own. ✨ Availability: • All week (Sunday-Saturday): Full-time availability for pet care so you can take a break and relax. • Overnights: I’m available to stay with your pets overnight. In your home, I follow your pets’ normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any medications or special care they may need. I make sure to keep your home tidy and treat it with the same respect I would my own.
“Brian M is fantastic! He is immediately established a relationship with both of 130 lb Great Pyrenees-they are truly excited to see him and I am confident leaving my children’ in his capable care.”

“Elise was wonderful, she provided lots of photos and great note each day. She checked on my 5 pets (3 cats and 2 dogs) daily for several days while we were out town. I had a family member staying with them at night. I will defiantly try and book Elise again in the future.”
About: I am an energetic animal lover that has put a lot of time into learning about various species and breeds, and their individual health and exercise needs. I am always eager to learn more about how to care for specific animals, and I have lots of experience caring for sick animals. I have also dedicated lots of time to learning about animal behavior and how to recognize the needs they’re communicating to me in a given situation. I am a college student, taking two online classes this summer. As a result, I have quite a bit of flexibility on weekdays, especially in the area surrounding UVM’s campus! I believe it always keeping the pet company, unless they’ve explicitly shown me they would prefer otherwise. Even if they’re asleep, I like to be in the same room as them so I can be sure to be aware of their needs. I prefer to always keep an eye on them, especially when out of the house, to ensure that nothing goes wrong and the pet stays safe.
About: I love taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes. My Rottweiler recently passed away and I am looking to continue caring for animals outside of my own. A number of people have trusted me with walking their dogs, housing their dogs and kitties, and even bathing them. I’m happy to help you next! I am a work from home student, so I will have all of the time in the world to give your pet-child all of the attention in the world! Although my yard is not fenced, I live in a safe neighborhood and will never take my eyes off of your pet. I will always keep their leash with me, seat belt secured, and doors locked.
About: I grew up taking care of two birds, three fish, and a now eldery dog. I worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for almost two years and was in charge of caring for a variety of dog breeds, ages, and sizes I currently go to school at UMBC and work part time but my schedule is pretty open, so, Im able to pet sit practically every day! No matter what Im doing at the time the pet will always have a part in it. For example if Im doing chores I will integrate a play or feed time into it. Im always thinking about them!
“We are so glad to have found Marwa to help take care of our pup during the day. She is truly passionate, caring, and knowledgeable about dogs. She is constantly going above and beyond to help Lolli become more comfortable and confident with her. Marwa is lovely, and we felt an immediate connection with her (maybe not Lolli quite yet!). I feel completely at ease having her enter our home and provide such extraordinary care for Lolli. Her patience, dedication, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. We feel very lucky to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.”

“We were away for six days and felt so comfortable leaving our Siamese cat, Gus, with Michelle. Gus has a lot of personality and usually doesn't like many people, but Michelle truly had the magic touch! He was completely at ease and so cuddly with her. She was great at communicating and we loved getting all the photo updates. We will definitely book her again!”

About: As an avid pet lover, friends and family turn to me to help watch their furry family members when they’re away from home. I’ve been a trusted dog sitter and walker for years and hope I can help you with your pet needs! I’m a stay-at-home-parent with local family support so I can dedicate time to your pets whenever needed! Mornings, evenings, and weekends are best, but with enough notice I can cater to your pet’s needs throughout the day. While pet care in my home is not currently available due to a reactive dog of my own, I am perfectly happy to provide most services to your pet in your home. I’m intimately familiar with all collar and leash types, crates and play pens, “puppy pads,” medications, bathing, and more. With the right tools and proper communication, rest assured that I will meet every expectation as your pet sitter!
About: I have more than 15 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and especially comfortable caring for pets with complex care instructions, including medications, special feeding schedules, senior pets, or multi-pet households. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you're away. I enjoy spending quality time with them so they don't feel lonely, whether that means playing, cuddling, or taking long walks with your dog. I believe pets thrive when they receive companionship, consistency, and plenty of attention. I'm also happy to help care for your home by bringing in mail and packages, watering plants, taking out trash, and completing other small household tasks while you're away. “Alex was great! Timely, followed instructions, sent photos and notes, and had no issues. Oliver was calm and content in his crate when I got home, so I know they had a good time! We will definitely book with her again!”

“Paige provided great care and play time for my 2 engergetic puppies. I appreciate how prompt and flexible she was with my booking. I would definitely book with Paige again! Thank you!”

“Alexis was tremendous. He left thorough review cards, lots of pictures, and was very communicative throughout his drop-ins. He was very flexible through a home-alarm difficulty, was very sweet to our cats, and we cannot recommend him enough. Please consider utilizing Alexis for your home visits!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Towson
Sarah was amazing with our puppy Billie. She was always on time for the check-ins and left great notes and photos to help let us know what was happening and how she was doing. She went above and beyond and will definitely reach out to her again the next time we go away. Thank you Sarah!

This was my first time ever leaving my dog with someone outside of family, so I was honestly very nervous. My dog is extremely shy, very attached to me, and doesn’t warm up to people easily. But Amy made the entire experience feel so safe and comfortable from the very beginning. One thing I truly appreciated was that she took the time to meet my dog before the actual booking day and never forced interaction. She allowed him to approach her at his own pace, respected his space, and made him feel comfortable naturally. Seeing that level of patience and understanding meant so much to me. While I was away, Amy constantly kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The photos showed my dog relaxed, laying next to her and even cuddling with her, something he normally doesn’t do with strangers. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how caring and trustworthy she is. She was punctual, responsible, respectful, attentive to every detail, and genuinely cared about making sure my dog felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I could tell she truly loves animals and treats them with so much patience and kindness. I’m beyond grateful for the care she provided and I would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking for someone reliable and compassionate to care for their pet. She exceeded all my expectations and I would 100% book with her again.

Suzanne took excellent care of our two dogs over the weekend when we were out of town. She came when scheduled even when all sorts of activities were being cancelled because of extreme cold. She medicated, Wales, and fed both dogs, visited with them, and successfully medicated both dogs. One of the dogs resists taking her pillls but Suzanne managed nicely. She also handled our other dog, who can be reactive, in a calm way that made him comfortable with her. Highly recommend her. And when I say extreme cold the temperature on Towson with wind chill was around -10.
Paul was a life saver. I had to leave my almost 5 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a work trip and was quite nervous about it. Ozzie and I have become super attached to each other this winter stuck at home. Paul jumped in and did daily visits for me- even took him on walks in the 20 degree icy conditions. Ozzie did great with him and I couldnt be happier. We also have an 11 year old that enjoyed Paul’s company. They played a lot of ball together and he wore my little babies out!

Lina has been wonderful with our 3-month-old puppy! She is caring, attentive and clearly great with animals. She always sends pictures and thoughtful updates during her drop-ins, which gives us so much peace of mind while we’re at work. We truly feel that our puppy is well cared for and loved when Lina is there. We’re so grateful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

Jackson took great care of our two dogs for 8 1/2 days, coming by 4x a day. One of our dogs is 16 and recently had ear surgery and was on an antibiotic and had no issues. Jackson communicated well w me while in a 5 hour time zone difference. Would definitely hire again. Thank you Jackson!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
