About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and reliability I bring to every pet and home I care for. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including having two dogs of my own in my family's home and caring for cats throughout the years, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. I also have experience pet and house sitting for neighbors and family friends, caring for dogs, cats, and small mammals with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, walks, playtime routines, medications, and providing extra patience for shy, anxious, or senior pets. I understand that leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, so I always try to make both the pets and their owners feel comfortable and reassured. I make it a priority to send updates and photos and to treat every pet with the same love, attention, and care I would want for my own pets. In addition to caring for pets, I’m very responsible when it comes to house-sitting and keeping homes clean, secure, and well cared for while owners are away. I’m currently a college student home for the summer, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable and attentive pet care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in familiar environments, so I make sure they receive consistent care, attention, exercise, and affection while their owners are away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any specific routines or preferences each pet may have. I also pay close attention to pets’ behavior and comfort levels to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Safety and trust are very important to me, so I always keep homes clean, secure, and respected while providing care. I’m also very communicative and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured knowing their pets are happy and in good hands. Since I’m currently a college student home for the summer, I also have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and supervision throughout the day.
“Alicia was able to take care of our dogs with short notice and we were appreciative of that. She was communicative, and very friendly with the pups even not having been able to meet them prior to caring for them.”

I am responsible and caring. I will care for your dog as if it is my own! I am currently home during the week and available. I am able to provide any needs that your dog may need. “Nicole took great care of my kitties while I was away out of the country. She was super responsive and consistent and I was comfortable that they were in good hands. About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I’ve helped care for my family dog for the past 7 years, so I understand the daily responsibility, attention, and love that dogs need to feel happy and comfortable. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve also house-sat and watched dogs for others, including taking them on regular walks, sticking to feeding schedules and breakfast/dinner routines, giving them plenty of attention and playtime, and helping administer medications when needed. I know how important consistency and trust are when someone is caring for your pet, and I always do my best to make dogs feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I genuinely love dogs and enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or more calm and cuddly, I’ll make sure they receive attentive, reliable care and lots of affection. I work a full-time 9–5 job during the week, but I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet care in the evenings after work after 5:30. I’m also available for overnight stays during the week if needed, though I would be away during typical work hours (approximately 7:30 AM–5:30 PM). On weekends, I have much more flexibility and am available for walks, drop-ins, sitting, overnights, and extended care as needed. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they receive dependable, attentive care while you’re away. I’ve been caring for dogs for years through both personal experience and dog sitting for others, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. I do my best to create a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away. Whether a dog is playful and energetic or prefers calm cuddles and quiet time, I’m happy to match their personality and routine. I also understand how important consistency is for pets, so I take owners’ instructions seriously and always respect boundaries, routines, feeding schedules, walk preferences, medication needs, and any house rules. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible and provide care that feels like a natural extension of their home environment.
About: I have had many dogs in my life time and I enjoy walking, talking to, caring for and spending time with dogs when I can. I miss my pets but I am not ready to get one of my own. However, I would love to help you care for your pet when you are gone. I am a teacher during the school year. I usually can help you out on the weekend or nights during the school year. During the summer I can help more often in a variety of days and times. My fur babies have all past. When I have helped friends and family take care of their pets I make sure to get to know their fur baby before they need me to care for them. I learn their pet's routines and I try to spend some time with them so they know my sent. This makes it more comfortable for the owner and pet when I am with them.
“This was Connor's first visit with our girls Kiwi and Rio. He was on time, followed protocols and communicated promptly. Very happy about all 3 of those things! We have scheduled another visit soon.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
