About: I am very attentive to my fur babies I have a 11 year old and a 1 year old their names are Milo and King. King needs a little more TLC he has congestive heart failure and has to take heart meds for the rest of his life. Milo is a ball of energy he keeps me on my feet he love to play run and belly rubs. Dog grooming is also available if needed for your furry fur baby. Pet care is very important to me. Proper pet care is the basis of responsible pet ownership. Caring for an animal can help make you feel needed and wanted, and take the focus away from your problems. I have 2 small dogs who loves company King is old and set in his ways so he doesn’t play much just bark and Milo is the social one he gets along with all dogs. There is a dog bark near by that I take him to so he can run jump and play with other fur babies

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and reliability I bring to every pet and home I care for. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including having two dogs of my own in my family's home and caring for cats throughout the years, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. I also have experience pet and house sitting for neighbors and family friends, caring for dogs, cats, and small mammals with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, walks, playtime routines, medications, and providing extra patience for shy, anxious, or senior pets. I understand that leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, so I always try to make both the pets and their owners feel comfortable and reassured. I make it a priority to send updates and photos and to treat every pet with the same love, attention, and care I would want for my own pets. In addition to caring for pets, I’m very responsible when it comes to house-sitting and keeping homes clean, secure, and well cared for while owners are away. I’m currently a college student home for the summer, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable and attentive pet care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in familiar environments, so I make sure they receive consistent care, attention, exercise, and affection while their owners are away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any specific routines or preferences each pet may have. I also pay close attention to pets’ behavior and comfort levels to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Safety and trust are very important to me, so I always keep homes clean, secure, and respected while providing care. I’m also very communicative and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured knowing their pets are happy and in good hands. Since I’m currently a college student home for the summer, I also have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and supervision throughout the day.

As a first time puppy owner, finding the right person to watch your fur baby is nerve wrecking. Riley was amazing!! She provided in-home daycare for our pup and kept up with his routine. She sent pics and videos of him and he seemed so happy. I’ll definitely be booking her again to watch or furry friend.

About: I have always had a great love for dogs! I am that type of person who will cross the street just to pet your dog haha. I have 2 Bernedoodle puppies at home that are my entire world! I would take care of any other doggie like it was my own! Walking, feeding, brushing, washing, etc. I do it all! and with a lot of love & care :) I will begin working part time so mostly afternoons - evenings but before that during the day, i am always around and trying to be active by hitting a long walk as my workout and play with my pups so combining walking & dogs is perfect for me! I have so much love for all little fur babies, having 2 pups here we currently let them kind of have free range of the house bc they just follow me around all day anyways haha we do have a big yard & a big fence they loveeee to play and run around outside! Do have a giant crate but they are only in there for maybe 1 hour of the day while i take my own walk around the neighborhood then i come back, let them out and play. We always have extra dog water bowls and treats! I would take care of any pet or home or anything as if it were my own so they would definitely get the care & love as well as, leave everything/anything how it should be!

About: Besides being a lifelong pet owner myself, I’ve been helping families care for their dogs and cats since I was 17 years old. For the past eight years, I’ve primarily worked as a nanny, and caring for the family’s pets has often been part of my role. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I currently work part time on Mondays and Tuesdays, so any other day of the week I can be available with a few days notice :) Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions, keep your pet’s routine consistent, and provide a calm, loving environment where they feel comfortable and secure. You can also count on regular updates and photos.

About: As an avid pet lover, friends and family turn to me to help watch their furry family members when they’re away from home. I’ve been a trusted dog sitter and walker for years and hope I can help you with your pet needs! I’m a stay-at-home-parent with local family support so I can dedicate time to your pets whenever needed! Mornings, evenings, and weekends are best, but with enough notice I can cater to your pet’s needs throughout the day. While pet care in my home is not currently available due to a reactive dog of my own, I am perfectly happy to provide most services to your pet in your home. I’m intimately familiar with all collar and leash types, crates and play pens, “puppy pads,” medications, bathing, and more. With the right tools and proper communication, rest assured that I will meet every expectation as your pet sitter!

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy helping them feel safe, cared for, and loved while their people are away. I’ve cared for animals throughout my life, from family pets growing up to paid pet and house sitting for friends and private clients. I’m a longtime yoga teacher, so creating a calm, grounded environment comes naturally to me. Friends, clients, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their dogs, cats, and homes, and I understand how important consistency, communication, and reliability are. Whether your pet loves long walks, quiet companionship, or playful interaction, I’ll care for them with the same attention and respect I’d want for my own family. I’m a part-time yoga teacher with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive care for your pets. I carefully plan my schedule around the animals in my care and will always discuss my teaching times with you in advance. My priority is making sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I understand that inviting someone into your home or entrusting them with your beloved pet requires a great deal of trust. I treat every home with respect and every animal with patience, kindness, and attentive care. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, communicate regularly with updates and photos, and will always reach out if I have any questions or concerns. My goal is for you to return home to a happy pet and a well-cared-for home. If boarding is needed, I provide a quiet, calm, smoke free home and accept only one family’s pets at a time so I can give them my full attention. I carefully follow each pet’s established routine and will communicate regularly with updates and photos. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

About: Hello Pet Parents, My name is Alicia Knight, and I am a 25-year-old animal enthusiast. I absolutely adore all kinds of animals, especially dogs! I'm a proud owner of two rescue dogs: a miniature goldendoodle named Mo and a great dane named Moose. My dogs bring me immense joy, and I understand how it feels to be a dog mom who can't always be around to care for her furry babies. That's why I'm here to offer my services! If you need someone to feed your pets or take them out for a walk, I'm here to ensure they receive all the love and attention they deserve. I have a flexible schedule, which means I can attend to your pets at any time, whether it's early in the morning or late at night. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to keep your pets safe and happy. When it comes to feeding, I am comfortable following any specific dietary requirements or restrictions your pet may have. And when it comes to walks, I'm always happy to take your furry friends to their favorite park or explore new trails together. I believe communication is key, so I'll always keep you updated on how your pets are doing, and I'll make sure to follow any special instructions you may have. With me, your pets will be in good hands, and you can rest assured knowing they're receiving the best care possible. I work full-time but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for your pets whenever you need. My workplace is only 5 minutes away from home, so I am easily available before and after work. I will ensure that your pets feel comfortable and loved, just as if you were with them yourself. I will follow their regular routine, which you provide me with, and treat them as if they were my own furry companions. I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your beloved pet with someone else, so I will keep you updated with photos and alerts to let you know that they are in good care.

About: I have had many dogs in my life time and I enjoy walking, talking to, caring for and spending time with dogs when I can. I miss my pets but I am not ready to get one of my own. However, I would love to help you care for your pet when you are gone. I am a teacher during the school year. I usually can help you out on the weekend or nights during the school year. During the summer I can help more often in a variety of days and times. My fur babies have all past. When I have helped friends and family take care of their pets I make sure to get to know their fur baby before they need me to care for them. I learn their pet's routines and I try to spend some time with them so they know my sent. This makes it more comfortable for the owner and pet when I am with them.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cockeysville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Cockeysville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cockeysville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
