As a single mom who shares custody of my children, I've built a home full of love, responsibility, and routine. My kids adore being around other dogs - it's a joy that also teaches them discipline, empathy, and how to appreciate different temperaments of animals. Our own golden retriever, Rory, who quite literally fell into our laps at 6 months old, has become part of the family and thrives on the companionship of other pups. Welcoming your dog into our home means they'll not only receive attentive, reliable care from me, but also enjoy a safe, playful, and loving environment with both two-and four-legged friends. Rory is up to date on all vaccines and medications and spayed. On the weekends, pet care is just part of our normal routine. My kids and I love being outside, going for walks, and playing in the yard, and enjoying the trail that is right in our backyard. Our dog, Rory is always excited to have a buddy to hang out with, whether it's running around or just lounging together. When my kids are with their dad, I have extra time to give dogs even more one-on-one love and care. No matter what the weekend looks like, dogs are included in our activities and treated like family. My priority is always your pet's safety as well as my own. Respecting your routines and creating a familiar environment where pets feel safe and cared for is important. I work full-time but I am typically home from work by 4 on Wed-Fri and every other Monday. I am very active and love to get some steps in. I work in a hospital, so every day I am trusted with the lives of loved ones, and that pushes me to take my job very seriously. I don't have a pet at the moment, but I miss spending time with my dog and would love to care for yours!

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.

Before we left, we met up, and she had many questions - about his food, his habits, commands he knows, is he crate-trained, etc. etc. I was very impressed!
