About: I have more than 15 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and especially comfortable caring for pets with complex care instructions, including medications, special feeding schedules, senior pets, or multi-pet households. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you're away. I enjoy spending quality time with them so they don't feel lonely, whether that means playing, cuddling, or taking long walks with your dog. I believe pets thrive when they receive companionship, consistency, and plenty of attention. I'm also happy to help care for your home by bringing in mail and packages, watering plants, taking out trash, and completing other small household tasks while you're away. You can count on me to communicate regularly, follow instructions carefully, and treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I would my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I have a flexible remote job that allows me to adjust my schedule throughout the day. I'm able to accommodate multiple visits per day, including morning, midday, evening, and bedtime check-ins, and I'm happy to work with your pet's regular routine to keep them comfortable and well cared for. I follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I carefully follow feeding, medication, litter box or potty routines, and spend quality time playing, walking, or simply keeping them company so they don't feel lonely. I also treat your home with respect and am happy to bring in mail, water plants, and provide regular updates so you know your pet is doing well.
About: I was raised with all sorts of animals and love to be around them. I have currently 2 big dogs and I’ve been a sitter for 3 years. I have plenty of time within my schedule. I take college courses online. I also am able to drive and manage on times needed for you and your pet! I’m really good with following directions and providing the best care for your pet! I make sure to keep spaces clean and tidy. I also send pictures to keep you updated
“Aida was a wonderful sitter and my dog had a great time with her! He enjoyed time spent in her large yard, many walks, and an overall comfortable stay. She shared frequent updates and pictures, and was happy to adapt to my dog’s routine and quirks. I felt so comfortable and was able to enjoy my trip, knowing my dog was in fabulous care.”

“I can’t say enough positive things about Keiwana and her family. They took great care of our Coco. Lots of attention and social connection, which was important for us. They provided updates and pictures to reassure us that she was being well taken care of. Very responsive to questions. They maintained a schedule our dog is familiar with. Plenty of walks, time outdoors and adequate feedings. We will definitely board with Keiwana and her family again.”

“Excellent care was provided by this family! My dog felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the children of the family. My dog is still sleeping off all of the fun he had this weekend. Thank you!”

“Chrissy was awesome. This was my first experience using Rover in Baltimore and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Communicated often, sent pictures, periodic updates and can tell Bear loved hanging with Dublin. Thank you so much again for everything and will definitely be my #1 go to ?”

“Shannon did a fantastic job watching our dog Ava, who had a great time playing with other dogs and sleeping the day away after being tired out. Shannon was very communicative, sent great photos, and took great care of our dog. Highly recommend!”

“Ashley was a great sitter! Took very good care of my dog and sent plenty of pictures. She was also very flexible when I had some last minute travel changes. Would definitely recommend!”

“Leydi and her family did a excellent job keeping Nova for a week while I was out of town taking care of personal family business. Nova enjoyed having other dogs her size to play with. I will surely use Leydi again in the future.”

“We almost hated to take Snow Pea home, she was so relaxed and comfortable at Barbara, Mark, and Bella's house! It was nice to know that someone was there all day to keep her company, and that she was also well loved. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our girl!!”

About: i've had dogs all my life and have been successful in training/obedience with my pets, i even have a cat that walks with my dog! im a gentle being with animals and i think i could be a well caretaker for your pets! i'm currently working a part time position in landscaping but have openings since its becoming to become cold and work is becoming less available until the summer i have a cat and a dog who get along very nicely, very used to other dogs and animals since they have been socialized with everyone in the community.
“I would recommend Theresa if you ever need your pup watched or taken care of. She gave me advice from her many years background of being a dog taker which was very helpful. Woody really enjoyed being there.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better person to care for our Frenchie, Louie! From the moment we met, we knew he was in great hands, and that feeling only grew while we were away. French Bulldogs can be a little high-maintenance, but Louie was treated like family. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell he was happy, comfortable, and incredibly well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was getting lots of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles instead of just being "watched." When we picked him up, he was relaxed, healthy, and honestly seemed like he had his own little vacation! It's clear that caring for animals isn't just a job—it's something they genuinely love. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and who will love your dog as if they were their own, look no further. We would book with them again in a heartbeat. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our sweet Louie—we're so grateful!”

“Emily & Patrick are wonderful pet people! They took great care of Karson while we were away and sent us updates as promised. Karson loved hanging with his new friend Biscuit (Emily & Patrick's dog) too! Highly recommend them!”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lutherville
Dotsie took such wonderful care of our dog while we were away for 10 days. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such loving, capable hands. She sent daily updates and photos, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our trip knowing our pup was happy and well cared for. It was clear that Dotsie genuinely loves animals and treated our dog like one of her own. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate care!

Marwa and Casey are amazing! Marwa is detail oriented and ensured Beanie felt at home as much as possible. They supplied us with updates throughout the day and were very responsive all times of the day. They took care of Beanie very well, 1000% will be booking again!

We felt so lucky to have found Amy on Rover! She was wonderful with our 4-month old puppy who LOVED playing with her dog as well. She was a great communicator and we received frequent photo updates while we were away for the week. We will definitely use Amy again next time we have to travel.

Our family had a fantastic experience with Cayleigh! Setting up everything was a breeze. Communication was always fast, professional and friendly. She was flexible with scheduling, and it was clear she loves dogs. I know my dog Lucy had a great time and was really well cared for because she usually acts like I've abandoned her when she's stayed with other people in the past--nervous and jumping all over me. She was completely chill like she had been on vacation. I highly recommend Cayleigh!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She was very polite and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. I really appreciated the frequent updates, especially the pictures and videos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear my dog was well cared for, and I’d be happy to book with her again.

Irene was wonderful with my dog Lily and is a pleasure to work with; very organized and proactive with plans and communication. Lily can be a very nervous dog and Irene was great at helping her to feel comfortable and secure in her home and on walks. Irene was available for a meet and greet at her house to introduce our dogs, and that memory seemed to really helped my dog feel comfortable at drop-off time. Very communicative with photos and videos throughout my trip, and I knew Lily was getting lots of attention and TLC! Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure working with Trinity. I especially appreciate her taking my Diamond on a playdate with her friend’s Shi Tzu (both fur babies are Shi Tzu). My Diamond tends to be introvert to I felt better hearing Trinity gave my Diamond an opportunity to socialize.

I'd give 6 out of 5 stars if I could✨️ Not only was Sofia available to board at the second for a work trip of mine, she also gave my puppy the best treatment I could ask for🙏I will most certainly be using her again in the future and I highly suggest considering her for your doggie needs🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
