About: Hi! My name is Maribel, and I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life. I grew up caring for family pets and have experience with dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and other small animals. As a college student, I know how important it is to find someone dependable who will care for your pets like family. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also provide regular photo and video updates, so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet has the best care possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I’m currently on summer break from college and have a flexible schedule for pet care! I work part-time at a golf course, and starting soon I’ll only be working one day a week at my second job. Most of my work shifts are during the day, which allows me to be available for afternoon and evening walks, drop-in visits, and overnight boarding. On my days off, I’m available throughout the day to give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime. I’ll always keep you updated with daily photos and videos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment with a fenced relief area and plenty of safe walking paths nearby. Since I live in an apartment, I only board one family’s pets at a time so they receive my full attention. If you have two small dogs from the same family, I’d be happy to care for them together. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and shy dogs, and I always follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible. While I don’t administer medications, I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, provide frequent potty breaks, go on walks, and give your pet lots of love and attention. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.
“Rowyn was absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her compassion, professionalism and how fantastic she was with my two almost 17 year old kitties! They require oral medication every day, which can be challenging, and on the first day, one was being difficult and refusing the medication, I had told her she could leave since she had already been there longer than the standard allotted drop-in visit time, but she was determined to make sure they both had their medication and was patient and stayed until they both finally took the medication. She absolutely went above and beyond, and was so attentive, so communicative and sent so many pictures! She always arrived on time, despite my saying the timing was flexible! She is someone we completely trusted with the care of our cats and also felt 100% comfortable coming and going from our house. She also went above and beyond and even did some cleaning so when we got home from vacation, we had nothing to worry about!! I cannot recommend Rowyn more highly! Thank you Rowyn for giving us so much peace of mind while away!! Will absolutely book with Rowyn again in the future!”
“Sean and his partner Paulina were quick to respond to all messages and showed up on time, both to our meet and greet and to all three cat-sitting sessions while we were out of town. Our two babies were well fed and watered, and the more social one got some attention and play from Paulina too. The shy guy had a cleaned litter box to use when he came out of hiding after they left, but before that they even watered the flower baskets on our porch as a heat wave was starting. “Maya was fantastic. She took such good care of our 3 kitties for 2 weeks. She went out of her way to make sure they were ok during the snowstorm and cold. She gives them attention (plays, grooms etc), and ensures they eat, have fresh water, checks their wellbeing. (Also the litterboxes were well maintained - she even put the garbage out) We are impressed - her compassionate care and love for our furries shows through everything she did — in addition she looks after your house (all is clean, plants were checked, etc…)- (we had water issue she reported immediately and helped clear) . She communicates frequently and keeps you posted — in a nutshell if you look for someone for your pet — we would not hesitate to recommend Maya and certainly hope she is available for our next trip. About: I have always had a great love for dogs! I am that type of person who will cross the street just to pet your dog haha. I have 2 Bernedoodle puppies at home that are my entire world! I would take care of any other doggie like it was my own! Walking, feeding, brushing, washing, etc. I do it all! and with a lot of love & care :) I will begin working part time so mostly afternoons - evenings but before that during the day, i am always around and trying to be active by hitting a long walk as my workout and play with my pups so combining walking & dogs is perfect for me! I have so much love for all little fur babies, having 2 pups here we currently let them kind of have free range of the house bc they just follow me around all day anyways haha we do have a big yard & a big fence they loveeee to play and run around outside! Do have a giant crate but they are only in there for maybe 1 hour of the day while i take my own walk around the neighborhood then i come back, let them out and play. We always have extra dog water bowls and treats! I would take care of any pet or home or anything as if it were my own so they would definitely get the care & love as well as, leave everything/anything how it should be!

Maya was great! She visited before the booking to ensure she was familiar with our home and our cat. The cat typically hides but came out for Maya right away and hung out with her during each visit! This was my first time ever leaving my dog with someone outside of family, so I was honestly very nervous. My dog is extremely shy, very attached to me, and doesn’t warm up to people easily. But Amy made the entire experience feel so safe and comfortable from the very beginning. The photos showed my dog relaxed, laying next to her and even cuddling with her, something he normally doesn’t do with strangers. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how caring and trustworthy she is. She was punctual, responsible, respectful, attentive to every detail, and genuinely cared about making sure my dog felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I could tell she truly loves animals and treats them with so much patience and kindness. Brian was absolutely wonderful with our Bernedoodle puppy Oreo! Despite Oreo being a 60+ pound bundle of adolescent energy, Brian handled him with patience, confidence, and ease. Paul was a life saver. I had to leave my almost 5 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a work trip and was quite nervous about it. Ozzie and I have become super attached to each other this winter stuck at home. Paul jumped in and did daily visits for me- even took him on walks in the 20 degree icy conditions.
