“Marina is the best. She is super reliable. My cats adore her… probably because she showers them with treats and play time. I’ve run out of positive things to say after so many good reviews on her visits!”

“Malina is very easy to work with and a pleasure to interact with. She took great care of my silly pups and I would happily recommend her to anyone. Looking forward to working with her again!”
“Jalen has been checking in on our dog Charli for a little over a month. Charli is very stubborn, and not always the easiest to manage, but Jalen has been absolutely fantastic with her. He is very patient with her, but always manages to give her a good workout between walks and play. She is always very happily worn out when I return from work, and Jalen sends great pictures and updates throughout his stay. We couldn't be more happy with Jalen and how he treats our pup! Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for help with their dog!”

About: I began seeking clients on Rover in the summer of 2025 as a way to make some more money for college and I love animals so I figured “why not!” - I found myself really bonding with every dog/cat I watched and cared for them as my own. I accept as many jobs as I possibly can because I understand the importance of having someone stay with your fur babies who knows how to care for them in all aspects. My 7 month old puppy died due to negligence from his pet sitter and got hit by a car. Due to that experience, I have shifted my focus to mainly Rover, hoping I can provide families with the comfort and assurance that I will care for their animals with the respect and love they all deserve. I have experience with all kinds of animals (even bunnies, horses, fish, and more!) I was a working student from the ages of 10-15 years old and have my own horse so big dogs don’t scare me. I know how to deal with skittish or aggressive dogs because I had to learn to groom my own goldendoodle as he got older and became unpredictable due to dementia. It is important for me to make sure the animals I look after feel heard, are never left alone for too long, and have fun during my time with them! Please feel free to reach out with any other questions!! I only have one other job exercising steeple chase horses in the early mornings so I have a lot of availability to make house visits or spend the day as much as you would need me to! I also love to go on walks and take hikes, so if I am looking after an Active dog it is no problem! If your dog likes to play with other dogs I have a fenced in yard and two other dogs of mine who are very friendly. I am very neat and organized so the chance of your animal eating something or getting into something they’re not supposed to is very slim.

About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. I am happy to provide your dog with its own, cat-free room if it's preferred.
About: I’ve taken care of many animals since I was 12. I currently work at The Diggs at Paws and Claws. I have experience with overnight sitting in peoples homes, regular sitting, walking, etc. I love taking care of any animal it’s always been my favorite job. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to do most hours for sitting. I can switch my schedule around to fit others. My neighborhood is very safe and secure. I have a nice backyard and park next door to my house. I will always make sure your pet is taken care of.
“Bito is hands-down terrific! Really went above and beyond. Clearly won over the hearts of our cats, and even convinced our shy recluse to allow some pets — very impressed! I would trust Bito to cat sit or house sit without any reservation whatsoever. Highly recommend without any reservation whatsoever. Bito left my house cleaner than when I left for vacation, and watered my plants too :)”

About: What sets me apart is that I have real experience working with dogs and I genuinely love taking care of them. I was on Rover for about a year and have also fostered three cattle dogs, which gave me experience with high energy and strong personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and I try to make sure each dog gets the care and attention they need. Since moving to Maryland, I’m excited to get back into pet sitting and continue working with animals. I work a hybrid role, which allows me to be home on Mondays and Fridays to give your pet my full attention. On days I’m in the office, I’m close by and able to come home as needed to let your dog out and provide care. This schedule lets me make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and comfort they need throughout the week. I provide attention care and supervision throughout their stay making sure they feel comfortable happy and secure in my home.
“Stephanie did a great job watching Jax. She was able to come on short notice and kept me updated even with concerns involving my home. I loved all the pictures she took that showed me he was enjoying himself while in her care. I would definitely use her again for future needs.”

Mornings, evenings, and weekends are best, but with enough notice I can cater to your pet’s needs throughout the day. While pet care in my home is not currently available due to a reactive dog of my own, I am perfectly happy to provide most services to your pet in your home. With the right tools and proper communication, rest assured that I will meet every expectation as your pet sitter!
“Sean and his partner Paulina were quick to respond to all messages and showed up on time, both to our meet and greet and to all three cat-sitting sessions while we were out of town. Our two babies were well fed and watered, and the more social one got some attention and play from Paulina too. The shy guy had a cleaned litter box to use when he came out of hiding after they left, but before that they even watered the flower baskets on our porch as a heat wave was starting. Thanks again Sean and Paulina!”

Lutherville dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time ever leaving my dog with someone outside of family, so I was honestly very nervous. My dog is extremely shy, very attached to me, and doesn’t warm up to people easily. But Amy made the entire experience feel so safe and comfortable from the very beginning. One thing I truly appreciated was that she took the time to meet my dog before the actual booking day and never forced interaction. She allowed him to approach her at his own pace, respected his space, and made him feel comfortable naturally. Seeing that level of patience and understanding meant so much to me. While I was away, Amy constantly kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The photos showed my dog relaxed, laying next to her and even cuddling with her, something he normally doesn’t do with strangers. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how caring and trustworthy she is. She was punctual, responsible, respectful, attentive to every detail, and genuinely cared about making sure my dog felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I could tell she truly loves animals and treats them with so much patience and kindness. I’m beyond grateful for the care she provided and I would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking for someone reliable and compassionate to care for their pet. She exceeded all my expectations and I would 100% book with her again.

Brian was absolutely wonderful with our Bernedoodle puppy Oreo! Despite Oreo being a 60+ pound bundle of adolescent energy, Brian handled him with patience, confidence, and ease. He was always on time, professional, and genuinely caring. Oreo absolutely loved his visits and that says everything. Highly recommend Brian without hesitation. Will definitely book again!

Suzanne took excellent care of our two dogs over the weekend when we were out of town. She came when scheduled even when all sorts of activities were being cancelled because of extreme cold. She medicated, Wales, and fed both dogs, visited with them, and successfully medicated both dogs. One of the dogs resists taking her pillls but Suzanne managed nicely. She also handled our other dog, who can be reactive, in a calm way that made him comfortable with her. Highly recommend her. And when I say extreme cold the temperature on Towson with wind chill was around -10.
Paul was a life saver. I had to leave my almost 5 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a work trip and was quite nervous about it. Ozzie and I have become super attached to each other this winter stuck at home. Paul jumped in and did daily visits for me- even took him on walks in the 20 degree icy conditions. Ozzie did great with him and I couldnt be happier. We also have an 11 year old that enjoyed Paul’s company. They played a lot of ball together and he wore my little babies out!

Jackson took great care of our two dogs for 8 1/2 days, coming by 4x a day. One of our dogs is 16 and recently had ear surgery and was on an antibiotic and had no issues. Jackson communicated well w me while in a 5 hour time zone difference. Would definitely hire again. Thank you Jackson!
Chelsea was responsive, reliable, and took excellent care of my two cats, including a cat that requires insulin injections every 12 hours. She also takes very good pictures! I looked forward to the photos from her check-ins and appreciated her willingness to see my babies twice a day over the holidays.

From the moment Shelby walked into our home and our most reserved cat was the first to greet her, I knew we were in good hands! I always stress about traveling without my pets, but Shelby's calm demeanor put me at ease. She stayed in touch throughout our trip, sent lots of pictures and was very respectful of our home. We will absolutely be contacting Shelby whenever we travel in the future!
