She gives them attention (plays, grooms etc), and ensures they eat, have fresh water, checks their wellbeing. (Also the litterboxes were well maintained - she even put the garbage out) We are impressed - her compassionate care and love for our furries shows through everything she did — in addition she looks after your house (all is clean, plants were checked, etc…)- (we had water issue she reported immediately and helped clear) . She communicates frequently and keeps you posted — in a nutshell if you look for someone for your pet — we would not hesitate to recommend Maya and certainly hope she is available for our next trip. “Rowyn was absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her compassion, professionalism and how fantastic she was with my two almost 17 year old kitties! They require oral medication every day, which can be challenging, and on the first day, one was being difficult and refusing the medication, I had told her she could leave since she had already been there longer than the standard allotted drop-in visit time, but she was determined to make sure they both had their medication and was patient and stayed until they both finally took the medication. She absolutely went above and beyond, and was so attentive, so communicative and sent so many pictures! She always arrived on time, despite my saying the timing was flexible! She is someone we completely trusted with the care of our cats and also felt 100% comfortable coming and going from our house. She also went above and beyond and even did some cleaning so when we got home from vacation, we had nothing to worry about!! I cannot recommend Rowyn more highly! About: I had been taking care of my family’s chihuahua and poodle growing up, and I was a sitter for my friend’s Munchkin cat for one year. My friends would always come to me to check on their cats whenever they were out of town. I’m currently taking care of a kitten of my own. Maya was great! She visited before the booking to ensure she was familiar with our home and our cat. The cat typically hides but came out for Maya right away and hung out with her during each visit! This was my first time ever leaving my dog with someone outside of family, so I was honestly very nervous. My dog is extremely shy, very attached to me, and doesn’t warm up to people easily. But Amy made the entire experience feel so safe and comfortable from the very beginning. One thing I truly appreciated was that she took the time to meet my dog before the actual booking day and never forced interaction. She allowed him to approach her at his own pace, respected his space, and made him feel comfortable naturally. Seeing that level of patience and understanding meant so much to me. While I was away, Amy constantly kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The photos showed my dog relaxed, laying next to her and even cuddling with her, something he normally doesn’t do with strangers. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how caring and trustworthy she is. She was punctual, responsible, respectful, attentive to every detail, and genuinely cared about making sure my dog felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I could tell she truly loves animals and treats them with so much patience and kindness. I’m beyond grateful for the care she provided and I would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking for someone reliable and compassionate to care for their pet. She exceeded all my expectations and I would 100% book with her again.
Brian was absolutely wonderful with our Bernedoodle puppy Oreo! Despite Oreo being a 60+ pound bundle of adolescent energy, Brian handled him with patience, confidence, and ease. Paul was a life saver. I had to leave my almost 5 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a work trip and was quite nervous about it. Ozzie and I have become super attached to each other this winter stuck at home. Paul jumped in and did daily visits for me- even took him on walks in the 20 degree icy conditions.
