“Jalen has been checking in on our dog Charli for a little over a month. Charli is very stubborn, and not always the easiest to manage, but Jalen has been absolutely fantastic with her. He is very patient with her, but always manages to give her a good workout between walks and play. She is always very happily worn out when I return from work, and Jalen sends great pictures and updates throughout his stay. We couldn't be more happy with Jalen and how he treats our pup! Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for help with their dog!”

“Dalton was awesome! He dropped in on cats twice a day while I was on vacation and always made sure to give updates, which I really appreciate! By mid-week both cats were comfortable with him and didn't hide. Dalton also went above and beyond and watered my plants for me!”

About: Hello! I am a veterinary technician of 8 years and pet owner of 20+ years who is highly experienced in animal care and petsitting. As a cat, horse, and previous dog owner myself I understand that our pets are our family! I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work part time hours and am off weekends and holidays. I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. Pets will always have access to fresh water and toys and will be well loved while in my care!
“Alicia was able to take care of our dogs with short notice and we were appreciative of that. She was communicative, and very friendly with the pups even not having been able to meet them prior to caring for them.”

“Paul was a life saver. I had to leave my almost 5 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a work trip and was quite nervous about it. Ozzie and I have become super attached to each other this winter stuck at home. Paul jumped in and did daily visits for me- even took him on walks in the 20 degree icy conditions. Ozzie did great with him and I couldnt be happier. We also have an 11 year old that enjoyed Paul’s company. They played a lot of ball together and he wore my little babies out!”

About: What sets me apart is that I have real experience working with animals and I genuinely love taking care of them. I was on Rover for about a year and have also fostered three cattle dogs, which gave me so much experience. I am also a super patient, attentive, and try to make sure each dog gets the care and attention they need. Since moving to Maryland, I am super excited to get back into pet sitting and continue working with animals. I work a hybrid role, which allows me to be home on Mondays and Fridays to give your pet my full attention. On days I’m in the office, I’m close by and able to come home as needed to let your dog out and provide care. This schedule lets me make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and comfort they need throughout the week. Before any drop off I make sure to have a meet and greet with you and your pet so we are all comfortable and ready. I have a fenced in backyard so your dog can play safely and get plenty of exercise. I provide attention care and supervision throughout their stay making sure they feel comfortable happy and secure in my home.
“I’ve booked with Marina several times now. She’s so wonderful! Knows all my cats’ routines and love languages. She’s always reliable and punctual. It’s a shame I can’t leave a rating even higher than 5 ⭐️.”

“Sean and his partner Paulina were quick to respond to all messages and showed up on time, both to our meet and greet and to all three cat-sitting sessions while we were out of town. Our two babies were well fed and watered, and the more social one got some attention and play from Paulina too. The shy guy had a cleaned litter box to use when he came out of hiding after they left, but before that they even watered the flower baskets on our porch as a heat wave was starting. Thanks again Sean and Paulina!”

“Katie is was great with my cat, who is scared or people. This was my first using rover, and I was nervous given my cats behavior around strangers. Katie was calm and knew how to approach to him. I definitely recommend her to watch your pet!”

“Amanda is loving and caring to cats. My very shy kitty immediately took a liking to her. She knows exactly how to approach a new cat and how to act around cats in ways cats prefer and understand. All her visits were prompt and thorough. I loved the photos she sent me, along with little blurbs about how and what my cat was doing! When I got home, everything was in order, my cat was happy and healthy, and Amanda even brought in an unexpected package that arrived. Thank you, Amanda!”

“Malina is very easy to work with and a pleasure to interact with. She took great care of my silly pups and I would happily recommend her to anyone. Looking forward to working with her again!”
About: Hi there! I’ve had worked as a veterinary rehab assistant for 3 years, caring for both dogs and cats as they heal and recover. This experience has taught me so much about animal behavior, comfort, and how to give pets the patience and attention they deserve. At home, I’m also a proud cat mom to two sweet kitties, so I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family members. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or making sure they stick to their routines, I treat every pet like my own. ✨ Availability: • All week (Sunday-Saturday): Full-time availability for pet care so you can take a break and relax. • Overnights: I’m available to stay with your pets overnight. In your home, I follow your pets’ normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any medications or special care they may need. I make sure to keep your home tidy and treat it with the same respect I would my own.
About: I’ve always been an animal lover and grew up in a family full of pets. As the oldest child, I naturally took on the responsibility of caring for our dogs, birds, and fish. I’ve also helped family members with their pets over the years, just for fun, because I truly enjoy it. Recently, I’ve gained hands-on experience with cats thanks to my current roommate, and I’ve learned how to care for them with the same attention and love I give to dogs. My variety of experience makes me confident with pets of all types and personalities. As a college student, my schedule is very flexible. I’m available most days , and I’m open to same-day bookings and last-minute cancellations when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, keep water bowls full, monitor for any signs of stress or discomfort, and make sure they’re never left unsupervised in unsafe conditions. I take time to build trust with each pet so they feel at ease. Whether in my home or yours, I create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where they can feel safe and loved.
“Christine was terrific in taking good attentive care with our pups. She communicated with us daily and spent quality time with our dogs. We also appreciated the photos she sent us😀.”

“Chelsea was responsive, reliable, and took excellent care of my two cats, including a cat that requires insulin injections every 12 hours. She also takes very good pictures! I looked forward to the photos from her check-ins and appreciated her willingness to see my babies twice a day over the holidays.”

“Victoria did an excellent job checking in on my 2 cats twice daily and making sure they had food and attention. My cats are skittish around strangers and rarely socialize with new people, but Victoria did a great job of reaching out and talking to them to let them know they weren't alone and even got 1 to come out and play with his favorite toy a few times! I appreciate that she was thorough and did a great job communicating how each visit went while I was away.”

About: I am an energetic animal lover that has put a lot of time into learning about various species and breeds, and their individual health and exercise needs. I am always eager to learn more about how to care for specific animals, and I have lots of experience caring for sick animals. I have also dedicated lots of time to learning about animal behavior and how to recognize the needs they’re communicating to me in a given situation. I am a college student, taking two online classes this summer. As a result, I have quite a bit of flexibility on weekdays, especially in the area surrounding UVM’s campus! I believe it always keeping the pet company, unless they’ve explicitly shown me they would prefer otherwise. Even if they’re asleep, I like to be in the same room as them so I can be sure to be aware of their needs. I prefer to always keep an eye on them, especially when out of the house, to ensure that nothing goes wrong and the pet stays safe.

Sarah was amazing with our puppy Billie. She was always on time for the check-ins and left great notes and photos to help let us know what was happening and how she was doing. She went above and beyond and will definitely reach out to her again the next time we go away. Thank you Sarah!

This was my first time ever leaving my dog with someone outside of family, so I was honestly very nervous. My dog is extremely shy, very attached to me, and doesn’t warm up to people easily. But Amy made the entire experience feel so safe and comfortable from the very beginning. One thing I truly appreciated was that she took the time to meet my dog before the actual booking day and never forced interaction. She allowed him to approach her at his own pace, respected his space, and made him feel comfortable naturally. Seeing that level of patience and understanding meant so much to me. While I was away, Amy constantly kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The photos showed my dog relaxed, laying next to her and even cuddling with her, something he normally doesn’t do with strangers. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how caring and trustworthy she is. She was punctual, responsible, respectful, attentive to every detail, and genuinely cared about making sure my dog felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I could tell she truly loves animals and treats them with so much patience and kindness. I’m beyond grateful for the care she provided and I would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking for someone reliable and compassionate to care for their pet. She exceeded all my expectations and I would 100% book with her again.

Brian was absolutely wonderful with our Bernedoodle puppy Oreo! Despite Oreo being a 60+ pound bundle of adolescent energy, Brian handled him with patience, confidence, and ease. He was always on time, professional, and genuinely caring. Oreo absolutely loved his visits and that says everything. Highly recommend Brian without hesitation. Will definitely book again!

Suzanne took excellent care of our two dogs over the weekend when we were out of town. She came when scheduled even when all sorts of activities were being cancelled because of extreme cold. She medicated, Wales, and fed both dogs, visited with them, and successfully medicated both dogs. One of the dogs resists taking her pillls but Suzanne managed nicely. She also handled our other dog, who can be reactive, in a calm way that made him comfortable with her. Highly recommend her. And when I say extreme cold the temperature on Towson with wind chill was around -10.
Paul was a life saver. They played a lot of ball together and he wore my little babies out!

Jackson took great care of our two dogs for 8 1/2 days, coming by 4x a day. One of our dogs is 16 and recently had ear surgery and was on an antibiotic and had no issues. Jackson communicated well w me while in a 5 hour time zone difference. Would definitely hire again. Thank you Jackson!

I looked forward to the photos from her check-ins and appreciated her willingness to see my babies twice a day over the holidays.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
