Safety, trust & environment

My dog at home is very anxious so I would be unable to house a dog with her, but I can come and take your dog out and care for them in your neighborhood!

Information Greta S. would like to know about your pet

How is your dog when you’re not there? Are they more anxious or do they lean to they other end of the spectrum and have a lot of excess energy? I’m very comfortable caring for reactive dogs, and if your dog is reactive what are their triggers (prey drive/dogs/humans/etc)? How can I better understand your dogs individual needs?

A typical day

Every dog has individual needs, for more anxious dogs a more relaxed environment is better, but I have walked many energetic dogs who could play for hours. For enrichment I like to mix play with general training because the best way to tire out a dog is mentally challenging them! Mat training is one of my favorite ways to do this, but it’s also important to let your dog get some of the energy out with traditional play like fetch or long walks!

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Greta and I have been pursuing my degree in Animal Behavior at Towson for 3 years! Now I am interning at BARCS and I also have an extensive history with reactive, door darting, and anxious dogs! I’m new to this app but I walked dogs for years in Timonium, as well as my own reactive dog. I live in the towson area now and I’d love to help out any way I can!
