About: I’ve taken care of dogs, both drop in and overnight visits, for two years now. I’ve dealt with small and large dogs and know how to handle them. I’ve grown up with multiple dogs in one house and know the different needs each dog requires! I am currently on break for summer from college so I am available anytime throughout the week and weekends. If you are booking day of please be aware I may have other arrangements but for the most part I should be free. Any rules and information I need are required before I enter the home. And for non emergency appointments a meeting with the dog and you present is preferred.

About: I’ve grown up with animals and currently have two dogs. I can help with potty training and reinforcement of basic skills like sit, stay, and down. I have experience with dogs of all sizes ranging from 10 to 100 pounds. I work fully remote so I am able to drop in throughout the day and I’m off on weekends. I also have two dogs that are friendly and love getting to meet new animals. I make sure to take long walks with plenty of time to sniff around and explore. Outdoor enrichment is just as important as playing inside with a toy! I’m also happy to work on and training you’ve been doing at home, just let me know what commands you use and I will stick to those.

Elise was so kind and easy to work with, and she took great care of my cats! One of my cats needed medicine and was a very difficult patient, but she worked out a way to make sure he took his meds. She was also very accommodating and able to extend her services when my trip lasted an extra day. Paws down, I would recommend her!

About: Compassionate & Experienced Pet Care You Can Trust Life gets busy, and sometimes you need an extra hand to ensure your pets get the love and care they deserve! Whether you're traveling for work, navigating unexpected life events, or simply need support juggling it all, I’m here to help!!☺️ With over two years of professional experience as a doggy daycare attendant and handler, I’ve supervised playtime, feeding, and enrichment activities for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Growing up surrounded by animals, I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal psychology, which helps me communicate effectively with pets and ensure they feel safe and loved. Currently, I’m a proud pet parent to a 6-year-old dog and a 1-year-old cat, who live harmoniously thanks to my expertise in bonding and desensitization. I’m compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to making pet care my top priority. From pet-sitting and drop-ins to administering medication and handling cleanup, I provide reliable, attentive care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to keep their furry companions happy and healthy. Let me bring that same level of care and dedication to your beloved pets! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine since I work from home and am on break from school until February. This gives me plenty of flexibility to offer drop-in services and provide your pets with the attention and care they need while you're away. When caring for pets in my home or yours, safety and trust are my top priorities. For drop-in visits, I ensure your pet's routine is followed and that they’re in a safe, secure environment. I take extra precautions, especially with dogs, by making sure all cords and potential hazards are put up and out of reach to prevent any accidents. For dogs, I also provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and enrichment to keep them happy and engaged. If a situation arises where drop-ins are not sufficient and your cat needs boarding, I offer a peaceful, safe solution with my custom-built catio outside my patio. This enclosed space allows your cat to enjoy fresh air and a secure outdoor experience, while still being protected and comfortable. Whether in my home or yours, I am committed to creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for your pet.

About: Hello my names Addison and I’m 25 years old. For the last seven years I’ve been a senior caregiver until my client recently passed away. I’m looking to start pet sitting to fill my spare time. I’ve had dogs my whole life (small and large) and also have experience with cats. I even have experience working with reptiles and salt water aquariums. I currently reside in Northern Maryland on a corn farm with my two dogs. I’m currently only pet sitting so your pet will have my full attention! Im also available for overnight stays if needed. I’m fully available on weekends as well. Pets under my watch will always get enough potty breaks and lots of love and attention. I know every pet is different and i try to mimic as close as I can to your pets routine you already have in place so you can be worry free on your vacation or trip!

About: My mom is a veterinarian so I have always been around animals. I have fostered and cared for many animals throughout my life having grown up on a farm. I also am currently training a service dog which is very rewarding! I am home from college right now, so my daily life doesn’t really change much. I am pretty much available for your animal at any moment of the day! I want to make sure your animals feel safe in their space without you for a little while! I want to disrupt their routine as little as I can and my priority is caring for them!

About: I am very attentive to my fur babies I have a 11 year old and a 1 year old their names are Milo and King. King needs a little more TLC he has congestive heart failure and has to take heart meds for the rest of his life. Milo is a ball of energy he keeps me on my feet he love to play run and belly rubs. Dog grooming is also available if needed for your furry fur baby. Pet care is very important to me. Proper pet care is the basis of responsible pet ownership. Caring for an animal can help make you feel needed and wanted, and take the focus away from your problems. I have 2 small dogs who loves company King is old and set in his ways so he doesn’t play much just bark and Milo is the social one he gets along with all dogs. There is a dog bark near by that I take him to so he can run jump and play with other fur babies

Laurie was amazing with our German shepherd! We've always had difficulty finding someone who isn't timid around our protective shepherd and who she actually likes. Laurie worked with Flecha and they were best friends in a week. She even brought her a new ball when she saw hers was broken. We will definitely be booking with Laurie again!

Kara did a fantastic job watching our 3 dogs (a 3-year-old rescue and two 14.5- year-old cockapoos). It was the first time we had to leave our pups with someone they had only met during a Meet & Greet. She came twice a day to let them out and feed them. Each time she came she sent pictures or videos of all 3 pups. Since the cockapoos are elderly, they would sometimes not want to eat or would not take their medications. She would always contact me if she was unsure what she should do. Her concern for the welfare of my dogs allowed me to rest assured that they were well cared for while we were on vacation.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
