About: Hi!! My name is Elisha. It is a pleasure to be a consideration to you. A little about me .. I’ve taken care of many doggies and kitties for relatives, friends, you name it. Since I can remember. I treat them as I would real children and companions. If you are in need of an extra hand, to walk or to visit your pup/kitty, I am available. I know life can get busy with work, traveling, or even dates. That is why I am so compassionate towards fur babies and believe that for your comfort as an owner, Rover is a great investment. I try to keep costs low as I am new, so here is to new pup/kitty beginnings ! I work 3-5 hours in the Baltimore area, however I live up Harford county so I’m flexible with locations and times! I can do early mornings, late noons, whichever is preferred by you :) I have a friendly pittie who can keep your dog company on walks (if they fare well that way) I will give often updates, photos, any notes as needed. An additional service I like to do for clients is picking up waste in the back, as it tends to become tedious and maybe difficult for some people, I am all here for it ! Please request that when booking.
“Christine showed up on time. Fed Nellie and took her for a walk around the yard. Played for a bit then returned her to her cage. We were very satisfied and will use Christine again”

About: *Please note, I will happily work with furry friends that are outside of my displayed work zone, if that is a situation that works for everyone. I truly am a dog and cat person. Dogs, and cats, are part of our families, and enrich our lives. I will always treat your baby, just as you would. I grew up with dogs. When I begged my mom at 12, and got my own dog, my mom told me I would have to do the work, and my mother doesn’t play. I did the work, trained my puppy to use one side of the yard for potty. She was trained so well, she could be walked off leash, and always responded. My dog had allergy problems, at age 12 I gave my dog allergy shots. As an adult, I lived in apartments, and cats suited my life better. I babysat a few cats, one for a month, and then adopted my first cat. Another cat came for a home to my back door. Both of my cats were raised with 3 kids, harmoniously. My schedule is open, whether you need play and activity for your pets, check-ins, or overnights. Mornings, nights, or weekends, I’m here to help your family! My goal caring for your babies, in their homes, is to keep their lives as stable and consistent as possible. I know how important keeping your fur family’s lives as regular as possible is, when you can’t be there. I love your advice on the details of what your baby/babies wants and needs when you can’t be there.

“Mariah has been a responsive and reliable sitter for my kitties. I can always be sure they'll be taken care of, mentally stimulated, and have a clean environment when she comes around. Thank you Mariah!”

Respecting property, following all protocols given by owner
“Jasmine was great with my Kobe! This was my first time using Rover and based off of my first time I would highly recommend the services. Jasmine dropped in to feed my dog as scheduled and even had a little play time with him. I got regular updates along with pictures of Kobe as well. Will definitely book again! ⭐️”

“Lisa was great with my cat! She did a very thorough meet and greet a few days before the booking. She spent lots of time with my cat and sent me great pictures of him which really helped me to know he was feeling comfortable with her and that he was getting some love while I was gone. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of pets of all kinds since I was 14. In the pass 8 years I have acquired paid experience. I have and still volunteer at local animal shelters when time permits. Most of my experience has been with fish, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. I also have experience in medication administration. I currently work part-time so my schedule is flexible especially for drop in visits. My weekends are limited but weekdays are open with more flexibility. I like to follow owners instructions on caring for their pet in their environment. I will never place your pet in a dangerous situation. I will make sure all safety gates are in place and keep harmful materials away from your pet.
About: I love taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes. My Rottweiler recently passed away and I am looking to continue caring for animals outside of my own. A number of people have trusted me with walking their dogs, housing their dogs and kitties, and even bathing them. I’m happy to help you next! I am a work from home student, so I will have all of the time in the world to give your pet-child all of the attention in the world! Although my yard is not fenced, I live in a safe neighborhood and will never take my eyes off of your pet. I will always keep their leash with me, seat belt secured, and doors locked.

About: I have had cats and dogs in my house since before I could walk and have been actively caring for them for nearly as long. I have two cats of my own now, 5 and 4, (my dog, almost 20, recently passed) that are my pride and joy. Caring for animals has been a staple of my life; I can’t wait to meet your babies and give them the best care too! I have a bit of a variable schedule between part time work as a barista, but for sitting stays I would never be away for more than 8 hours in any given day. I take college classes online but that can be done anywhere that I can access the internet, meaning I can be with your fur baby for more quality time! I have two cats of my own that I feed a mixed diet of wet and dry food twice a day, so I know attention to detail is a priority when caring for your fur baby! With that said, I can have my roommate feed my boys while I’m on overnight jobs, meaning I have more time to provide top quality care for your fur baby.
“We are very grateful to use Ashleigh‘s services again, this time for a longer stay. I had great peace of mind on my trip because I knew Ashleigh would throughly communicate and let us know how the animals were doing at home. If you were looking for an amazing pet sitter, do not hesitate to use Ashleigh services!”

“Repeat client here! Heather is wonderful and attentive and you can tell she genuinely loves dogs. She sent daily updates and treated my pups like family. Thanks so much for another great experience!”

About: When you choose me to care for your pet, you’re choosing a passionate and experienced pet lover who prioritizes not only your pet’s comfort and happiness, but also your peace of mind. I understand how important your furry family member is to you, and I strive to provide them with the same level of care, attention, and love they receive from you. While you’re away, you can rest assured that your pet is in safe, caring hands, with updates provided to ensure you remain connected to their well-being. I have experience caring for younger animals with energetic needs who require frequent playtime. I’ve also dedicated time to caring for senior pets, providing them with gentle exercise, extra comfort, and making any necessary dietary adjustments to support their health and comfort. Currently, I care for a 17-year-old cat who requires more delicate care. Additionally, my background includes working with anxious pets, where I’ve applied my professional clinical experience to soothe, calm, and build their confidence, helping them feel more secure in unfamiliar environments. I work from home and run my own business, so my availability can accommodate you and your pet’s needs. I’m flexible with scheduling and can provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. Whether your pet needs midday walks or frequent drop-in visits, I’m happy to help make things easier for you. I will offer whatever service and care is most similar to your pets current environment. If you would like them crated, I am able to accommodate. However, if you are more comfortable with your pet having more freedom within your home or my home, I am happy to provide that environment as well!
“Jordan was wonderful. She kept me informed at every visit and was even kind enough to bring in a package without being asked. She is trustworthy and loves cats. Our cat looked very happy upon our return.”

About: I’ve always have pets in my life since I was young. I’ve cared for cats, dogs of all sizes, fish, birds, mice, hamsters, rabbits, turtles and small snakes. This includes cats and dogs with special medical needs. My family, friends and coworkers often turn to me to care for their animals when they leave town, I’m always delighted to help. I promise to love your pets as much as you do! I work a PT with a rotating schedule alternating AM and PM availability. I’m more than happy to accommodate to meet any specific time constraints! I have a small fenced in yard and access to large grassy areas for exercise if boarding at home. I’m very respectful of personal property and will follow any specific directions left to care for you home as well as your pets.
“I highly recommend Shana to care for your fur babies. She was attentive, responsive, caring and went above & beyond. Thank you sooo much! It was nice to not worry and know Peri and Jack were in good hands while I was away.”

About: I have experience taking care of a border collie, Australian Shepard, and a German Shepard. I enjoy walking around the city and always open to a companion or two joining me. I am able to host dogs at my place, with my German Shepard. I have a fully fenced in yard that all dogs can play in, and I can walk them around my neighborhood. I am also able to do drop in visits for dogs or cats and stop by to walk any dogs. I normally travel for work 3 days a week. When not traveling I am either working from home or have local visits. I plan out my visits so that any pets staying with me will not go longer than 4 hours alone. I will allow all dogs to roam freely while I’m at home and take a break to play with them, and my dog, for about 10 minutes every hour. It gets boring sitting in front of a computer. For any walks or drop ins the time is spent making sure they get plenty of stimulation. Whether it’s walking a new route or playing in the yard I have a fenced in back yard. No other dogs or animals get in the yard, except a squirrel or two. When walking in my neighborhood there is minimal traffic since it has no way for cars to go through it( a lot of dead end streets). I’m close to 695 so if an emergency happens I can get to many vets in the area fast.
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Glen Arm is $20
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glen Arm
Laurie was amazing with our German shepherd! We've always had difficulty finding someone who isn't timid around our protective shepherd and who she actually likes. Laurie worked with Flecha and they were best friends in a week. She even brought her a new ball when she saw hers was broken. We will definitely be booking with Laurie again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
