“Liz spent considerable time getting to know my 'scaredy dog'. Without her willingness to move slowly and strategically, I doubt we'd have been successful with getting Sundae to the point where Liz could take care of her overnight. I really appreciate her efforts.”

About: I’ve taken care of family pets growing up for years, cats and dogs. And walked a dog for a neighbor twice a week for a year. My schedule is pretty flexible but it’s helpful to know a week in advance the timing of when walks are preferred so I can adjust accordingly. I am not able to do pet care in my own home as I am not able to house pets in my current lease, sorry!
“Megan was very prompt on answering my request. She was able to be to my house within an hour for my last minute request and was super friendly. She saved the day by letting out my dog and playing with him!”

About: I love taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes. My Rottweiler recently passed away and I am looking to continue caring for animals outside of my own. A number of people have trusted me with walking their dogs, housing their dogs and kitties, and even bathing them. I’m happy to help you next! I am a work from home student, so I will have all of the time in the world to give your pet-child all of the attention in the world! Although my yard is not fenced, I live in a safe neighborhood and will never take my eyes off of your pet. I will always keep their leash with me, seat belt secured, and doors locked.
About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, donkeys, goats, chickens, ferrets, hamsters, etc. I’m used to being in households with multiple animals. I have a Boston Terrier that I consistently walk. I don’t currently have a job I’m full time pet sitting. However I do take jobs outside of rover and have occasional plans or trips but I’m very flexible. I have a Boston Terrier who I let out on a leash and take on walks around the neighborhood. He typically sleeps in his crate.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I regularly dog/ cat sit for my neighbors since I was 10. Sometimes I like animals more than people. I’m currently a part time student at Towson with a part time job, Monday through Thursday. I have plenty of breaks throughout the day to spend with your pet! Your pet is welcome anywhere in my apartment! Bring whatever toys/treat you want. Whatever makes them comfortable! I will love them like my own!!
“I highly recommend Shana to care for your fur babies. She was attentive, responsive, caring and went above & beyond. Thank you sooo much! It was nice to not worry and know Peri and Jack were in good hands while I was away.”

“Kelly was amazing! She showed up on time everyday and left detailed reports with pictures. My two pups loved her instantly. She was also very easy to work with for some time changes.”

About: I’ve always been a animal person no matter where I go I seem to attract them. I understand the importance of pet maintenance and will not disappoint! Id love to get to know your furry friend and for them to get to know me! :) I’m current working part-time due to school but will be full time soon after graduation. I am available before 8AM and after 5PM! And fully available on weekends. Unfortunately I live in an apartment and don’t think it would be fair to try and entertain your furry friend in a small confined space.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, both drop in and overnight visits, for two years now. I’ve dealt with small and large dogs and know how to handle them. I’ve grown up with multiple dogs in one house and know the different needs each dog requires! I’m currently a student so I am busy most week days but can walk morning and evenings Monday-Wednesday. I can dog sit, extra visits, and last minute appointments Thursday-Sunday! Any rules and information I need are required before I enter the home. And for non emergency appointments a meeting with the dog and you present is preferred.
“Repeat client here! Heather is wonderful and attentive and you can tell she genuinely loves dogs. She sent daily updates and treated my pups like family. Thanks so much for another great experience!”

About: When you choose me to care for your pet, you’re choosing a passionate and experienced pet lover who prioritizes not only your pet’s comfort and happiness, but also your peace of mind. I understand how important your furry family member is to you, and I strive to provide them with the same level of care, attention, and love they receive from you. While you’re away, you can rest assured that your pet is in safe, caring hands, with updates provided to ensure you remain connected to their well-being. I have experience caring for younger animals with energetic needs who require frequent playtime. I’ve also dedicated time to caring for senior pets, providing them with gentle exercise, extra comfort, and making any necessary dietary adjustments to support their health and comfort. Currently, I care for a 17-year-old cat who requires more delicate care. Additionally, my background includes working with anxious pets, where I’ve applied my professional clinical experience to soothe, calm, and build their confidence, helping them feel more secure in unfamiliar environments. I work from home and run my own business, so my availability can accommodate you and your pet’s needs. I’m flexible with scheduling and can provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. Whether your pet needs midday walks or frequent drop-in visits, I’m happy to help make things easier for you. I will offer whatever service and care is most similar to your pets current environment. If you would like them crated, I am able to accommodate. However, if you are more comfortable with your pet having more freedom within your home or my home, I am happy to provide that environment as well!
“Lisa is so great with my cat. She drops in twice/day, and sends me loads of pictures. This is the 3rd time I’ve hired Lisa and will definitely be reaching out to her again! She even brought Bella some toys to play with and let me know of a possible health concern. She is reliable and thoughtful - you won’t be disappointed!”

“Paul was a life saver. I had to leave my almost 5 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a work trip and was quite nervous about it. Ozzie and I have become super attached to each other this winter stuck at home. Paul jumped in and did daily visits for me- even took him on walks in the 20 degree icy conditions. Ozzie did great with him and I couldnt be happier. We also have an 11 year old that enjoyed Paul’s company. They played a lot of ball together and he wore my little babies out!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and know how to adjust my approach to each one. I love taking dogs on walks, spending time with them at home, and keeping their routines consistent so they feel safe and happy. My goal is always to make sure every dog gets the attention, exercise, and comfort they need while their owners are away. Caring for dogs is part of my daily life. I have a dog of my own, so I’m used to walks, feeding, playtime, and attention every day. I care for pets by following their routines closely, including walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I pay attention to each pet’s personality, needs, and comfort to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while I’m with them.
“I am so appreciative of Jasmine's care for my dog. My pug is shy and takes a minute to build trust and Jasmine no doubt earned! She moved at the speed of my pug. The updates from Jasmine showed a happy pup that trusted her more and more every day! Can't thank Jasmine enough! Highly recommend!”

Glen Arm dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sonia has been great with taking care of Shadow. She’s been great keeping me updated and sending photos. It was great to hear that he got some treats and got on his favorite couch for the night. It definitely takes away from the stress worrying about him while away at work!

Kara did a fantastic job watching our 3 dogs (a 3-year-old rescue and two 14.5- year-old cockapoos). It was the first time we had to leave our pups with someone they had only met during a Meet & Greet. She came twice a day to let them out and feed them. Each time she came she sent pictures or videos of all 3 pups. Since the cockapoos are elderly, they would sometimes not want to eat or would not take their medications. She would always contact me if she was unsure what she should do. Her concern for the welfare of my dogs allowed me to rest assured that they were well cared for while we were on vacation.
