“Patrick and Bahiya are absolutely amazing! We’ve used them several times for dog drop-ins and for watching our two dogs while we’re out of town, and they’ve become our first choice every single time we travel. They are dependable, caring, and treat our dogs like their own. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they’re taking care of our family while we’re away. We’ve always had a great experience with them, and they consistently go above and beyond to make sure our dogs are happy and well cared for. At this point, whenever we’re going out of town, Patrick and Bahiya are the first people we reach out to. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!”

“Kathleen came by for a meet and greet with our pup, Poe. She was timely and communicative. She was patient and kind to Poe as they got to know each other. I look forward to having her come by to take care of our dog.”

“Michelle was an amazing caretaker! We had to be away from home for a long time, and she visited our two cats everyday! I don't know what we would do if not for her care. She was on time every visit, very good with the cats and her reports and pictures! She was also great to deal with any other issues that emerged over our long absence, couldn't recommend her more! You can entrust your pets to Michelle without any worry!”

About: I have always found comfort in having animals around me, when I was younger I loved digging in the dirt and looking through the potato bugs. My grandmother always had 2 dogs in the house… labs, Brittany’s, and now two mutts.. She also had parakeets that she let fly around the house before she got hunting dogs. My mom and I lived in apartments and we always had cats, I loved taking the time to learn all of their individual personalities and gain their trust. I have helped with kitten and puppy training for friends and family. I also have reptile experience- I have cared for iguanas and now my son and I have 2 pet geckos named Kenny and Copper. I currently work part time for my fiancés business so I have a lot of time on my hands to take care of your pets needs! I live in a very nice condo complex with a beautiful trail right behind the building, it perimeters the woods, there’s also a ton of walking trails around me to take your pups on new adventures. I have cleaned homes before, I have been the pet sitter and the house sitter as long as there are instructions I can follow easily and daily. I want to spend my weekends strengthening my bond with animals and providing help to anyone who needs it. My son (Roman) is 6 and very good with all kinds of animals he is very in touch with nature and understands to give plenty of space and time. Providing him with this experience by helping to care for animals and the life around you at such a young age is beautiful to me.

People say you can't train cats but you definitely can. They know simple commands that helps with our every day life. I also walk my neighbor's golden retriever on a regular basis.
“It's been a long time since we left our dog overnight and unfortunately she decided to be terrified. Jen went above and beyond trying to coax and make Hildy comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Megan was very prompt on answering my request. She was able to be to my house within an hour for my last minute request and was super friendly. She saved the day by letting out my dog and playing with him!”

“Elizabeth was amazing to work with. Incredibly professional, friendly and responsive. I felt so safe leaving her with my cat Shredder, especially given her background in pet care and veterinary medicine. Thank you so much for your grace and understanding during the past 2 weeks, it truly meant a lot to me. 100% would recommend to anyone in the area seeking pet care.”

“Constance was wonderful! We booked her for drop-in visits to administer medication for our cat, who is on a very strict regimen. She was open to learning our process and was very attentive to our cat’s needs. She went above and beyond the administration, topping off food and water bowls, cleaning him up a bit and giving him snuggles. Getting the updates and pictures from her while we were away really gave me a lot of comfort, as I knew he was in good hands. She even left a sweet note and picture of our boy for us when we returned from a very long flight, which I appreciated so much. It was just such a nice and personal touch. Would definitely book her again in the future! Thank you, Constance!”

Laurie was amazing with our German shepherd! We've always had difficulty finding someone who isn't timid around our protective shepherd and who she actually likes. Laurie worked with Flecha and they were best friends in a week. She even brought her a new ball when she saw hers was broken. We will definitely be booking with Laurie again!
Constance was wonderful! We booked her for drop-in visits to administer medication for our cat, who is on a very strict regimen. She was open to learning our process and was very attentive to our cat’s needs. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
