“Nathaly is caring and dependable. My pets look forward to their time with her playing and being snuggled. I have an elderly dog who requires medication and a special diet and Nathaly carries her down the steps and makes sure her needs are met. She is a loving person and flexible with my crazy schedule and long shifts. 💕”

“We were so relieved and impressed by our first booking with Sonia!! We have some tough furry customers here, but she was able to feed and get close to each. She also sent very cute pix! She was very understanding of my nervousness to leave them for the first time in a few years, and helpful, and flexible with our weird schedules. We absolutely trust her to take care of our brood anytime!”

About: I have always found comfort in having animals around me, when I was younger I loved digging in the dirt and looking through the potato bugs. My grandmother always had 2 dogs in the house… labs, Brittany’s, and now two mutts.. She also had parakeets that she let fly around the house before she got hunting dogs. My mom and I lived in apartments and we always had cats, I loved taking the time to learn all of their individual personalities and gain their trust. I have helped with kitten and puppy training for friends and family. I also have reptile experience- I have cared for iguanas and now my son and I have 2 pet geckos named Kenny and Copper. I currently work part time for my fiancés business so I have a lot of time on my hands to take care of your pets needs! I live in a very nice condo complex with a beautiful trail right behind the building, it perimeters the woods, there’s also a ton of walking trails around me to take your pups on new adventures. I have cleaned homes before, I have been the pet sitter and the house sitter as long as there are instructions I can follow easily and daily. I want to spend my weekends strengthening my bond with animals and providing help to anyone who needs it. My son (Roman) is 6 and very good with all kinds of animals he is very in touch with nature and understands to give plenty of space and time. Providing him with this experience by helping to care for animals and the life around you at such a young age is beautiful to me.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life (35+ years) and have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, and pets who require extra patience, attention, or medical care. I have hands-on experience administering medications, including insulin for diabetic dogs, and caring for dogs with seizures and other health concerns. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and closely monitoring a pet’s health and behavior. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’ve completed training classes with my own dogs and have continued that experience by working with my mom’s dog as well. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, structure, and positive behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home homeschooling mom with two children (ages 4 and 9) who love dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also offer care in your home when preferred. Safety, routine, and comfort are very important to me. I closely supervise pets, follow instructions carefully, provide regular updates, and work to make every pet feel secure and relaxed while in my care. I can care for multiple dogs who are familiar and friendly with one another. If needed, I can also accommodate dogs separately to help ensure a calm, stress-free environment for everyone.
“Megan was very prompt on answering my request. She was able to be to my house within an hour for my last minute request and was super friendly. She saved the day by letting out my dog and playing with him!”

“Constance was wonderful! We booked her for drop-in visits to administer medication for our cat, who is on a very strict regimen. She was open to learning our process and was very attentive to our cat’s needs. She went above and beyond the administration, topping off food and water bowls, cleaning him up a bit and giving him snuggles. Getting the updates and pictures from her while we were away really gave me a lot of comfort, as I knew he was in good hands. She even left a sweet note and picture of our boy for us when we returned from a very long flight, which I appreciated so much. It was just such a nice and personal touch. Would definitely book her again in the future! Thank you, Constance!”

“Roberta was truly exceptional with our dogs!!! She was always on time and truly loved our dogs in our absence so much so that for a few days after our return they would wait by the window looking for Roberta to come visit. If that doesn’t tell you how good she was with our dogs, I don’t know what will!”

“Kelly is an absolutely exceptional cat sitter. She takes wonderful care of our two cats, including one who has anxiety, and handles everything with so much patience, understanding, and genuine compassion. She sends consistent updates that always put us at ease, and it’s clear from every message and interaction that she truly loves animals. Our cats are comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for when she’s with them, which means the world to us. Kelly is the only person we fully trust with our cats, and we can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“Having Jacky check on our cat each day was a huge relief for our trip. We got thorough and regular updates with lots of pictures. She was on the lookout for health indicators and clearly cared about our cat very much. Will book again!”

“Emma was fantastic watching our new puppy ! She left great updates on our dog and provided adorable photos. Emma was super flexible with our slight changes of drop in times. I definitely recommend Emma and would use her again!”

“Jennifer was wonderful and we would definitely use her again in the future. I had to cancel the original booking and she was helpful and understanding. We re-booked it a few weeks later and she did a great job with our cat, Curry, while we were away. Jennifer was flexible in scheduling, as we had to delete one day and add another, and she handled it for us on the site. Each time I had a question or a change, she responded within minutes. And luckily she lives right up the street so made it easier for her. Highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter!!! Mike and Linda”
“Bridget is great with our dogs, she takes such good care of them! She was able to help us out on very short notice, and did a wonderful job taking care of all 4 of our dogs, and followed our instructions to the tee. Very quick to respond, and good with communicating during the check ins as well, we got lots of photos so we could see the dogs were doing well. A+ sitter, will be booking again!”

Laurie was amazing with our German shepherd! We've always had difficulty finding someone who isn't timid around our protective shepherd and who she actually likes. Laurie worked with Flecha and they were best friends in a week. She even brought her a new ball when she saw hers was broken. We will definitely be booking with Laurie again!
Sam took amazing care of our cat, Lucy! You could tell from the pictures that Lucy loved her visits and felt well cared for. Sam’s communication was also amazing! She was super prompt with responding to messages and gave great updates throughout the booking. We would definitely work with her again!

Second time my wife and I have used Jennifer to sit our cats while out-of-town. It was only a couple days, but a hospital stay went longer than planned so we had to add on another night and morning; she handled the booking for us and came back over to feed them and do the litter - her help make a stressful trip a bit easier. Pretty sure we'll be using her a third time down the road whenever ...

- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
