“I have been using for a couple of times now. She is 💯 reliable and I can always count on her to giving loving far to my cat Rin. I wanted a sitter that can give lots of cuddles and love in addition to providing care ( cleaning litter, water etc). She is the person.”

“Pat and Bee were fantastic!!! They were very professional and communicative during the entire time me and my family were away and they were caring for our fur babies. Always on time and took photos to share with us. I definitely intend to use them again for all future family trips and highly suggest any looking for some to lovingly and properly care for their pets while away Pat and Bee would be my first choice.”

“Nathaly is caring and dependable. My pets look forward to their time with her playing and being snuggled. She is a loving person and flexible with my crazy schedule and long shifts. 💕”

“Elizabeth was amazing with our dogs. She did a brief meet and greet prior to doing the drop ins. She sent the cutest picture updates and provided great detail in her check in notes. We will 100% use Elizabeth again.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life (35+ years) and have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, and pets who require extra patience, attention, or medical care. I have hands-on experience administering medications, including insulin for diabetic dogs, and caring for dogs with seizures and other health concerns. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and closely monitoring a pet’s health and behavior. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’ve completed training classes with my own dogs and have continued that experience by working with my mom’s dog as well. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, structure, and positive behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home homeschooling mom with two children (ages 4 and 9) who love dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also offer care in your home when preferred. Safety, routine, and comfort are very important to me. I closely supervise pets, follow instructions carefully, provide regular updates, and work to make every pet feel secure and relaxed while in my care. I can care for multiple dogs who are familiar and friendly with one another. If needed, I can also accommodate dogs separately to help ensure a calm, stress-free environment for everyone.
“Great experience with Nicolina and Patrice!! They took great care of our 4 cats and bunny even with one cat on meds and insulin shots!! Getting ready to book them again for our next trip out of town.”

About: I've taken care of a family member's dog for 7 years. I frequently go to their house to play with, feed and walk him while they're out of town. I have two tabby cats at home. Brother and sister that my family and I adopted from Luna Cat Cafe. I recently finished Veterinary Assistant classes at CCBC Essex. I did my clincial hours at Ruxton Animal hospital. I love caring for animals of all kinds and I look forward to taking care of your fur babies as if they were my own. My schedule is completely open. So I'm free to pet-sit anytime. “Megan was very prompt on answering my request. She was able to be to my house within an hour for my last minute request and was super friendly. She saved the day by letting out my dog and playing with him!”

About: I have always found comfort in having animals around me, when I was younger I loved digging in the dirt and looking through the potato bugs. My grandmother always had 2 dogs in the house… labs, Brittany’s, and now two mutts.. She also had parakeets that she let fly around the house before she got hunting dogs. My mom and I lived in apartments and we always had cats, I loved taking the time to learn all of their individual personalities and gain their trust. I have helped with kitten and puppy training for friends and family. I also have reptile experience- I have cared for iguanas and now my son and I have 2 pet geckos named Kenny and Copper. I currently work part time for my fiancés business so I have a lot of time on my hands to take care of your pets needs! I live in a very nice condo complex with a beautiful trail right behind the building, it perimeters the woods, there’s also a ton of walking trails around me to take your pups on new adventures. I have cleaned homes before, I have been the pet sitter and the house sitter as long as there are instructions I can follow easily and daily. I want to spend my weekends strengthening my bond with animals and providing help to anyone who needs it. My son (Roman) is 6 and very good with all kinds of animals he is very in touch with nature and understands to give plenty of space and time. Providing him with this experience by helping to care for animals and the life around you at such a young age is beautiful to me.
“Samantha was great and made sure Athena was well cared-for while I was away for a couple of days. She left good updates and was even able to get a picture of my (very shy, usually hiding) kitty.”

“I’m deeply grateful to Tania for taking such loving care of my cat, Pipi. Tania followed every instruction with care and attention, and her daily updates—filled with sweet photos—brought me so much comfort while I was away. She was also always responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. I wholeheartedly recommend her for her services!”

“Nasa takes lovely care of our pets every time we travel for vacation. She kindly answers all of my questions and sends goofy cute photos. Multiple trips over multiple years, and we rest assured because NASA will be there to fill kibbie bowls and distribute head scritches.”

“Kelly takes such great care of our pets and is always great at recognizing when something isn’t quite right with our cat. She is very responsive and accommodating to schedule changes that inevitably happen when traveling.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
