“I can’t say enough good things about Mariah and my experience with her. She made me feel so at ease with her detailed updates and her funny comments in the updates. My cats might prefer her over me!”

“Jackie is responsible, loving, and accommodating. She always takes such good care of my cat and leaves detailed and kind notes each time she visits. This past visit, Jackie was very flexible when my plans changed suddenly and was very helpful and communicative. When she comes to get keys, my cat knows she's special and rushes to the door to greet her! Jackie will always be the first person I call to care for my pet.”

“Annie was great!! She did a pre trip visit and had good + quick communication throughout. Our kitties and house were very well taken care of, I’d definitely recommend her!”

“Laura was so nice when we met her at our visit. I have never used Rover before and was hesitant to do so, but my cat sitter cancelled on me last minute. I picked Laura because of all the wonderful reviews she has, and she did not disappoint. She was communicative and got the best pictures of my cats. I felt so much better being away knowing that they were well taken care of. She is very caring and kind and my cats and I would 10000% recommend Laura!”

“Thank you for taking care of Birdie. I was so excited she greeted you and you were able to visit during your drop in. I wasn’t sure what to expect as we never left her before…thank you for taking great care of her. It’s much appreciated.”

“Elizabeth was a great communicator and I felt safe leaving her with my cats. We were worried about our boy needing medication while we were gone and she was wonderful and got it done with no issues.”

“Awesome experience! Mollie watched our 2 kitties while we were out of town and took great care of them during the drop in visits! Lots of pictures too which this cat mama loved!”

About: I'm new to Rover, but not new to caring for fur babies! I've had pets my whole life, so loving on pups & kitties comes naturally to me. I enjoy taking walks with dogs and giving cats all the cozy attention they'll allow, whether that's playtime or a comfy spot to curl up. I'm happy to email or text pics of your fur baby so you can relax and have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. Your pet will get plenty of love, care, and attention while you're away! I work from home and have a super flexible schedule, so pet care fits right into my day! I'm only a few minutes away, which gives you peace of mind knowing I can pop in for walks, drop-ins, or attention when your fur baby needs it. I'm not a certified vet, but I have experience giving pets oral medication safely. When we're out on neighborhood walks, I always keep dogs on leash to make sure they're safe and secure. Your pet's well-being and worry-free environment are my top priorities!
About: Have had animals my whole life - 2 cats of my own right now. Previously had a cat with FIP who was given 2 weeks to live, and with my diligent care she lived for another 1.5 years. I have taken training classes at the Heritage Humane Society in Williamsburg about a year ago, specializing in cat intake ensuring they were loved, played with, had fresh food and water and a clean environment. Can come early mornings before 8, lunch and after 4pm. I work a flexible 8-5, but am able to pop in and out as needed. I will follow all instructions from you diligently. I come and feed, play, walk and will stay for about 30 minutes to play unless longer is require. I'm extremely flexible and am willing to do anything it takes to maintain a safe and clean environment for you and your fur baby(s).
“Having Patricia was an immense comfort for me as one of my kitties has been having some stressful (and ill-timed) gastrointestinal issues. Her knowledge and experience as a vet tech was absolutely invaluable, and she was incredibly responsive. You can tell she loves cats and I am definitely keeping her info on-hand for my next travel session if I can’t have one of my friends pop in again. 10/10!”

About: I've cared for dogs my entire life as an owner. Ive had small dogs, terriers, and their strong will and playfulness to large dogs, ie German Shepard, and their willfulness and loyalty. I love them all and understand how to build trust with a pet. Ive also become a cat owner to tow boys bringing our home pack to 2 dogs and 2 cats. Currently I have a flexible schedule for drop ins during the day or evening. I am glad to feed them, play, and take out for breaks. Available any day except Sundays. Our home has invisible fence and our dogs are trained to remain in the years. We have also had fenced yards in the past. I can and do walk smaller dogs.

Glen Arm cat parents share their Rover experiences
We were so relieved and impressed by our first booking with Sonia!! We have some tough furry customers here, but she was able to feed and get close to each. She also sent very cute pix! She was very understanding of my nervousness to leave them for the first time in a few years, and helpful, and flexible with our weird schedules. We absolutely trust her to take care of our brood anytime!
