(Also the litterboxes were well maintained - she even put the garbage out) We are impressed - her compassionate care and love for our furries shows through everything she did — in addition she looks after your house (all is clean, plants were checked, etc…)- (we had water issue she reported immediately and helped clear) . She communicates frequently and keeps you posted — in a nutshell if you look for someone for your pet — we would not hesitate to recommend Maya and certainly hope she is available for our next trip. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life and have never gone a day without an animal in my home. I love connecting with animals, making them feel safe, and respecting their boundaries. I've also had multiple dog care professionals in my life, groomers and trainers, who have helped me understand the better the basics about dog care and general wellbeing. Though my experience is mostly with cat and dog care, I am excellent at following instructions and feel comfortable proving care for all animals! I have a completely free schedule! I can accommodate pretty much any schedule for pet parents! This includes any pets that do better with solo care! I care for your pets the same way I care for mine, with love, respect, and immense care. Any care needs you have, walks, feedings, crating, I can accommodate! After 3 years as a teacher in k-12 environments, wrangling a few animals will be much easier than the 30 I'm used to!
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 2. I have looked after dogs, cats, and guinea pigs of various ages since 12. I love caring for pets and have a dog of my own! I also volunteer at animal shelters when I have the chance. I’m working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pet! During summer I will especially have loads of availability. I have a crate trained dog who is very friendly and can keep your pet company. I have a spacious apartment but am flexible to take care of your pet wherever!

This was my first time ever leaving my dog with someone outside of family, so I was honestly very nervous. My dog is extremely shy, very attached to me, and doesn’t warm up to people easily. But Amy made the entire experience feel so safe and comfortable from the very beginning. One thing I truly appreciated was that she took the time to meet my dog before the actual booking day and never forced interaction. She allowed him to approach her at his own pace, respected his space, and made him feel comfortable naturally. Seeing that level of patience and understanding meant so much to me. While I was away, Amy constantly kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The photos showed my dog relaxed, laying next to her and even cuddling with her, something he normally doesn’t do with strangers. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how caring and trustworthy she is. She was punctual, responsible, respectful, attentive to every detail, and genuinely cared about making sure my dog felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I could tell she truly loves animals and treats them with so much patience and kindness. I’m beyond grateful for the care she provided and I would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking for someone reliable and compassionate to care for their pet. She exceeded all my expectations and I would 100% book with her again.

Suzanne took excellent care of our two dogs over the weekend when we were out of town. She came when scheduled even when all sorts of activities were being cancelled because of extreme cold. She medicated, Wales, and fed both dogs, visited with them, and successfully medicated both dogs. One of the dogs resists taking her pillls but Suzanne managed nicely. She also handled our other dog, who can be reactive, in a calm way that made him comfortable with her. Highly recommend her. And when I say extreme cold the temperature on Towson with wind chill was around -10.
Paul was a life saver. I had to leave my almost 5 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a work trip and was quite nervous about it. Ozzie and I have become super attached to each other this winter stuck at home. Paul jumped in and did daily visits for me- even took him on walks in the 20 degree icy conditions. Ozzie did great with him and I couldnt be happier. We also have an 11 year old that enjoyed Paul’s company. They played a lot of ball together and he wore my little babies out!
