About: I've been a huge pet lover since I was little! I've taken care of my family and neighbor's dogs since I was little, and I recently started taking care of family friends' dogs in my own home. I have experience administering meds for doggies on medication, love working out so I can keep up with any active ones, and have done grooming before! I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs, as well as small doggies all the way to big dogs. I love em all!! I just graduated college, and I am looking for full-time industry jobs, so I am home/available all day, and I'm ready to build my routines/schedules around your fur baby and make them my top priority! For boarding, I provide a secure, pet-proofed home. I like to do slow/controlled introductions with my roommates (all female college students) and me and keep close supervision at all times, especially in the beginning. I have an unfenced yard, but I never let untrained and/or unleashed doggies out there without constant supervision. I will follow all your care instructions and medication schedules. Everything mentioned applies for house sitting and dog walking! I do not own any pets myself, so I am open for doggies who cannot be around other animals.

“Amazing sitter for my German Shepherd! I can’t say enough good things about Shakiyla! She watched my German Shepherd, Bucky, for 4 days and took such amazing care of him. Bucky can be a handful with his high energy and anxiety, but she handled him so well. At the last minute, we also asked if she could watch my mom’s dog, Kandi (a Husky/Shepherd mix), and she was more than willing. She cared for Kandi just as wonderfully, making sure her needs were met too. What really impressed me was her communication—she even put me, my mom, and my husband in a group chat so we all stayed updated. That way, if she couldn’t reach one of us, she could easily contact someone else. She went above and beyond by sending daily videos and pictures, which really put me at ease while I was away. On top of that, she shared some really helpful suggestions for Bucky that showed she genuinely cared about his well-being. I am so grateful to have found her, and I plan to book with her every time I need someone to look after Bucky. She’s the best!”

I recently had the opportunity to book a pet boarding for my dog Bruno with Shopie. It was a great experience overall, she was kind and friendly, she kept me in touch with my dog by sending me pictures and videos on multiple occasions I want to thanks her for everything , Sophie is someone that I really recommend to anyone who is looking for a person to take care of their pets.
We felt so lucky to have found Amy on Rover! She was wonderful with our 4-month old puppy who LOVED playing with her dog as well. She was a great communicator and we received frequent photo updates while we were away for the week. We will definitely use Amy again next time we have to travel.
Our family had a fantastic experience with Cayleigh! Setting up everything was a breeze. Communication was always fast, professional and friendly. I know my dog Lucy had a great time and was really well cared for because she usually acts like I've abandoned her when she's stayed with other people in the past--nervous and jumping all over me. Irene was wonderful with my dog Lily and is a pleasure to work with; very organized and proactive with plans and communication. Lily can be a very nervous dog and Irene was great at helping her to feel comfortable and secure in her home and on walks. Irene was available for a meet and greet at her house to introduce our dogs, and that memory seemed to really helped my dog feel comfortable at drop-off time. Very communicative with photos and videos throughout my trip, and I knew Lily was getting lots of attention and TLC! Highly recommend!
