I’m a stay at home mama, so I am available for drop in visits or walks any day of the week - my schedule is very flexible! I try to keep my visits to mornings (before 8 am) and evenings (after 5:30 pm). Afternoon visits are possible but less flexible. Safety, trust & environment
I treat every pet as I do my own — lots of love (if that’s what they like), plenty of play time, and always top notch attention when it comes to basic pet care needs. Every pet is different and comes with their own special set of quirks - that’s what makes pet sitting the best job! I take the time to get to know your pet and earn their trust and affection. I’m familiar with animal body language and know when to give love or give space when necessary. Your home and pets are in caring, capable hands!
Information Ashleigh M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any mobility challenges, such as hip dysplasia or vertebrae weakness. If you have a senior dog I’d like to know what kind of special accommodations they need like lifting onto furniture or using a wheelchair. I prefer walking dogs that are well socialized and do not pull if they are a larger breed. If your dog has any aggression or social anxiety issues please let me know and I will plan to entertain them away from other animals. If you have a pet that takes medications, please be sure to review that info with me prior to our booking so I can be sure their needs are met! I have experience with diabetic cats (insulin injections).
A typical day
I’m a big fan of playing fetch and running around with active dogs if they have a fenced in area to play! I also really enjoy toys that stimulate pets mentally, like treat puzzles and snuffle mats. It’s so fun to watch them try and figure them out! For kitties wand toys and cuddles are always so much fun.

Pitbull Mama & lover of all pets!
Pet care experience
Caring for animals has been a part of my life since I was child growing up with several small breed dogs in the home. I’m now a mama to a 5 year old pittie and a big fan of bully breeds! I also have 3 cats of my own and love caring for kitties! I have experience caring for mid- to large-size dogs, including walking / feeding / bathing / spending quality time. I also cat sit and have been hired to care for pets of all kinds, such as guinea pigs and ferrets. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs and dogs with mobility challenges - tripods with wheelchairs! I’m also confident with administering medications. Can’t wait to work together to give your fur babies the care they deserve 🤎

Reviews

Ashleigh is always super reliable and great woth our cat!

Ashleigh is an amazing pet sitter! We have used her many times and each time we do, we have peace of mind knowing Ashleigh is taking care of our fur babies when we are away. I cannot recommend her enough! She is excellent with communication and leaves us great notes with details about their food and care. Thank you for everything Ashleigh. 😊

Ashleigh always goes above and beyond what we’ve asked for our cats while on vacation. I always know they are in safe hands and in good company as they come out for her despite being shy sometimes. Couldn’t ask for anyone better. Thank you!

Ashleigh is my go-to Rover sitter for my kitty! She is always communicative and professional, and treats my pet like one of her own. I highly recommend her!!
