He also had to deal with a terrible cold spell, but when he couldn't walk Lemon for more than 5 minutes at a time (about all she can tolerate when it's that cold), he took her for two short walks to make sure she did all her business and then played ball with her in the house. We came home to a dog who, while happy to see us, was clearly doing just fine without us, which is all I can ask for :)”

About: As a mom to a 6-year-old Golden Retriever, I know from experience how much attention and care impact an animal’s life, their behavior, health, and even their mood. ​ I walk my dog twice a day because I know how much energy a Golden Retriever has and how important these walks are for their physical and mental health. ​ I’m a very active person, so I love spending energy with dogs on walks and playtime. ​ I love all animals, but dogs are my favorites because of their intelligence and genuine affection. ​ You can rest assured that your pet will be very well cared for with me, and we will definitely burn plenty of energy on our walks together Most days I’m available after 9 a.m., once I drop my husband at the office, which gives me a flexible schedule for walks, drop-in visits, or longer stays. At the moment, I live in an apartment, so the safest and most comfortable option for your pet is for me to provide drop-in visits and walks, rather than full-time boarding in my home. ​ During visits, I follow your pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide, always making sure doors and windows are secure and your home is respected

About: My family raised litters of puppies growing up. Coming home from school at ages as young as 6 years old, I would walk into a home with as many as a 12 labrador puppies (+ our 2-3 full grown labs) at a time. I helped my mother with cleaning them, cleaning their messes, and watching them carefully when we took them outside to begin potty training. Once I was older, I began professionally dog walking and pet sitting. In high school, I had 3 families whose pets I consistently cared for, sometimes for weeks at a time while they were on vacation, in addition to simultaneously caring for my 3 dogs and 1 cat at home. Caring for pets has been an integral part of my life for (literally) as long as I can remember. I typically work 4-8.5 hour shifts at my job in Timonium, MD. I work only part-time, so I do not work every day, but it is important to note that if your fur babies need potty breaks every 4 hours or less, I might not be the most compatible sitter for you. I usually receive my work schedule two weeks in advance on Fridays or Saturdays. I always want to cater to the pet’s routine and make the transition of care as seamless as possible. I pay great attention to how long their usual walk is, how often they need to spend time outside, how much food they are to be given and at what times of day. The comfort of the pet (and thereby the owner) is my absolute top priority.

About: My love for dogs started in my parents home. We had 3 different dogs growing up. I had a pet for 5 years. Be a pack leader and place pet safety 1st with a great dog walking or sitter experience. Don't have a dog now but love watching AKC competition and westminster dog show . Starting to jog now and can orient dog into the jogging routine. I have room in my large condo 1200 square feet. HVe dog bowl for water and food. Have a big green area around building to walk and jog.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life — I grew up in a home full of pets and was responsible for their daily care from a young age. As an adult, I’ve always had animals (dogs and cats) of my own and have experience with pets at every life stage. Most recently, I lovingly cared for my senior dog who passed away at 17, so I’m very familiar with the patience and attention that older dogs often need. I’m active and love going for walks, but I’m just as happy to relax and keep a pet company. I’m responsible, punctual, and committed to following your pet’s routine closely. I currently have one dog of my own and am fostering another. I I currently work part-time, Tues-Thursday. I'm available for walks or check-ins Friday-Monday. During my breaks (I work at a school), like holidays and the summer, I am available any day! I can also do evenings Tues-Thursday. I offer care in my clients homes - both check-ins and walks. My own house is a bit chaotic with kids and animals, so I'm not offering care in my own home. I will be diligent in following all instructions when taking care of your pets and will also be respectful of your home!

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, donkeys, goats, chickens, ferrets, hamsters, etc. I’m used to being in households with multiple animals. I have a Boston Terrier that I consistently walk. I don’t currently have a job I’m full time pet sitting. However I do take jobs outside of rover and have occasional plans or trips but I’m very flexible. I have a Boston Terrier who I let out on a leash and take on walks around the neighborhood. He typically sleeps in his crate.
