About: Taking care of animals is the best thing in the world. I have worked on farms for several years with equine, dogs and cats. I'm a cat mom, but walking and taking care of dogs has been the best job ever. I've walked all types of dogs from the smallest to the biggest, from puppy pit bull to old lady poodle and everything in between 🥰 For me animals are everything! Pet care is my main daily focus. I have an open schedule and very flexible hours and availability. Don't hesitate to reach out. I am confident we can make it happen. I offer walking and taking care of pets in the client's home. What exactly I'll help you with depends on what your pets need. Need someone to come and go, or someone to stay all day, or overnight (Friday through Sunday)? Do your pets need meds? About: I am a school teacher and a life-long animal lover and have had pets since I was a young child. I currently have 3 dogs (and a horse). Two of my dogs have their intermediate trick titles and also compete and do well in agility. The third is an older deaf rescue. I am experienced with handling and also training dogs. During the summer, I have worked with a local company for 8 years for dog walking as well as dog/cat sitting for vacation clients. Through word of mouth I've had training clients and hope to add that service through Rover. I also I am fairly new to Rover since my availability depends on when school is in session. I am a teacher so I am available all summer for walks or pet-sitting. I also do days I am off work and some holidays. I am not available during the weekdays when school is in session. I treat clients' dogs like my own. I do prefer a meet and greet before caring for your pet. I will only care for pets in the client's home since I already have 3 dogs of my own. I am quiet and calm with animals to put them at ease. I can take them for a walk, or will play ball or whatever your dog enjoys playing. I can feed your pet, give treats, meds, and always provide fresh water. I am responsible and always show up, stay the full amount of time, and make sure the house is just as I left it. Dogs are always happy to see me. Your dog will get lots of love during my visits.

About: I love all animals. I think they are truly such gifts to the world. My experience ranges from puppies and kittens to more senior dogs. One of my regular clients has a dog that requires a little more TLC as he has thyroid and eye issues that require specific medication. I like to ensure all animals are well-loved, cared for, and have all of their needs met. I'm currently a freelancer that can work from anywhere, so I have tons of free time to ensure all pets are well-loved and cared for! I like to thoroughly discuss with my clients what their normal routine with their pets are. Are they allowed on the couch? How often do you go on walks? Dietary restrictions? How often are they fed and how much? Any medications I need to account for? Vet information for emergencies? Etc. Once I've taken all of that information into account, I'll apply all of it during my time with the pets and also supply them with all of the love and attention they could possibly need.

About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs and cats. My experience includes providing basic care, feeding, spending quality time with pets, keeping their environment clean, and paying attention to their individual needs. I genuinely enjoy making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently working part-time and in school so I am available on the weekdays mainly in the morning or early afternoon. If overnight care is needed, then I can stay the night on Friday nights starting at 10pm and can stay until 8am. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I follow each pet’s routine and their owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special needs or preferences. I keep pets supervised, make sure they have access to fresh water, and maintain a clean and secure environment. I also understand how important it is to earn an owner’s trust, so I communicate regularly with updates and photos and treat every pet with the same patience, care, and attention I would want for my own.

About: Our house always had fishes, dogs, birds, guinea pigs or rabbits growing up. Being an only child I grew up watching National Geographic channel and always brought home a stray dog or a random animal I found. Needless to say when I became an adult I was constantly volunteering at dog shelters and always dog sitting my friends dogs or my neighbors pets. I love showering dogs with affection but I am also strict when it comes to following rules and setting boundaries. I rescued my dog when he was only 2 weeks old and have bottle fed him, researched his breed and trained him accordingly. I like to do activities according to the dog’s breed, personality and energy level. I am currently a full time grad student commuting from MD-DC, so I am fully available during the weekends and evenings to shower your fur babies with love and care! I have a friendly 2 year old dog and own 1 med sized crate and 1 large sized crate if needed. I also own a self powering treadmill for dogs as well if your baby does not like the rain but still want to run. I drive an suv that is equipped with dog covers in the back seat for the dogs to lay down and enjoy car rides.

“Brian took great care of my girl, Lemon! He made sure the plan for Lem was super clear beforehand, which I especially appreciated since the schedule I gave him to complement my friend's visit schedule was not perfectly regular, and he didn't miss a visit! He also had to deal with a terrible cold spell, but when he couldn't walk Lemon for more than 5 minutes at a time (about all she can tolerate when it's that cold), he took her for two short walks to make sure she did all her business and then played ball with her in the house. We came home to a dog who, while happy to see us, was clearly doing just fine without us, which is all I can ask for :)”

About: I have a family dog, who I love! And also I have my own furry Labradoodle! I can walk your dog, feed them, and spend time playing with them and give them all the attention they deserve!! I am responsible and caring. I will care for your dog as if it is my own! I am currently home during the week and available. I am able to provide any needs that your dog may need. We are able to spend time outside playing and go on walks. I always make sure the dogs are always safe in my home. Any dangerous items are properly stored and secured away from the animals. When it’s time to play out side or go on a walk, I always make sure their leases are secured.

About: I am an enthusiastic and active animal lover with over 20 years experience. We live across from the Loch Raven reservoir within walking distance of many hiking trails. We enjoy playing with our pets in our fenced in backyard as well as taking nature hikes on the many trails across from us. Growing up, we had a dog and two cats. Currently, I delight in taking care of our 10 year old cat and 3 year old dog! I love being active with animals and walking them. Our house and yard are very pet friendly! I also am comfortable with admin of needed meds and grooming. The pets who stay with us are welcomed as part of the family. For boarding, we can accommodate one dog per night. We do not board cats. We have a fenced in backyard with about an acre of land. We have a 3 year old dog who is friendly. We have a shy 10 year old cat who will hide from other animals that she doesn’t know. We have hens, but they are fenced in completely.

About: I have owned all sorts of pets my whole life. I love dogs, cats, amphibians, reptiles, fish and small mammals. I would love to show your pet some love. I am a homeschooling, stay at home mom of 3 older kids. I can do any time of the day or night. Our schedule is flexible to your needs. We live in a wooded area which is great for dog walks. We are able to provide your fur baby with lots of love and enrichment. Small mammals and reptiles are welcome to stay at our house.

About: My love for dogs started in my parents home. We had 3 different dogs growing up. I had a pet for 5 years. Be a pack leader and place pet safety 1st with a great dog walking or sitter experience. Don't have a dog now but love watching AKC competition and westminster dog show . Starting to jog now and can orient dog into the jogging routine. I have room in my large condo 1200 square feet. HVe dog bowl for water and food. Have a big green area around building to walk and jog.
