About: Taking care of animals is the best thing in the world. I have worked on farms for several years with equine, dogs and cats. I'm a cat mom, but walking and taking care of dogs has been the best job ever. I've walked all types of dogs from the smallest to the biggest, from puppy pit bull to old lady poodle and everything in between 🥰 For me animals are everything! Pet care is my main daily focus. I have an open schedule and very flexible hours and availability. Don't hesitate to reach out. I am confident we can make it happen. I offer walking and taking care of pets in the client's home. What exactly I'll help you with depends on what your pets need. Need someone to come and go, or someone to stay all day, or overnight (Friday through Sunday)? Do your pets need meds? Do they love lots of cuddles? 🥰 Whatever it is, I'm there for it! Because it's all about the animals!

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, donkeys, goats, chickens, ferrets, hamsters, etc. I’m used to being in households with multiple animals. I have a Boston Terrier that I consistently walk. I don’t currently have a job I’m full time pet sitting. However I do take jobs outside of rover and have occasional plans or trips but I’m very flexible. I have a Boston Terrier who I let out on a leash and take on walks around the neighborhood. He typically sleeps in his crate.

“Ugo does an exceptional job walking my pup (who apparently considers humans to be her butlers) and then watering and feeding her at the conclusion of the walk. She is very calm and gentle to which my dog responds well. She is definitely a dog whisperer. Highly recommend Ugo to care for your for babies.”

About: I have always had dogs in my life, both big and small. Since high school, I have pet sat for friends, neighbors, and family. Last summer, I regularly cared for a French bulldog puppy, which gave me hands on experience with younger dogs. I would love and appreciate the opportunity to help care for your pets! I have recently graduated from Towson University with my bachelors in Environmental Science. I am also volunteering with Phoenix Wildlife center on Tuesdays while I search for a job! I have time during the week to fill and would love to drop in, walk, or board your pets! I live with my mom, sister, and stepdad but I am the primary care taker. We have a fully fenced in yard with plenty of love to give! I am also a reptile owner and keep a Plated lizard in a secure enclosure in my room, so I am comfortable with unique pets. When sitting in a client's home, I am highly respectful of your space, and my attention goes entirely to keeping your pet happy and safe. I would love and appreciate the opportunity to help care for your pets!

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets and personalities—2 hamsters, 2 fish tanks full of aquatic friends, 2 cats, 3 dogs, and even a few adorable bunnies! 🐾 I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique quirks, whether that means playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them comfy and happy while you’re away 💕 As a student on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, regular walks, playtime, feedings, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m home, I can keep a close eye on pets, ensure they stay safe and comfortable, and maintain their normal routine while you’re away. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. I also have two friendly dogs and a cat. During our meet-and-greet, we can see how our dogs interact to ensure everyone is comfortable. If your pet prefers their own space, or if you would rather keep them separate, I’m happy to accommodate that throughout their stay. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I will follow your pet’s routine closely, provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and make sure they feel at home while you’re away. 🩷
“Bridget is an awesome dog walker. Coal usually barks at new people and all he wanted to do was go meet her so I knew we were off to a good start. Bridget is knowledgeable and patient and we’d love to book with her in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: I am currently in college and have a huge love for all animals! I will gladly take care of dogs and cats any size and age. I would prefer to come to your home for over night boarding. I will lay on the floor and pet your dog or cat for hours. Pets are therapy! I love cats just as much as dogs. I grew up in a house with at least 2 dogs and cats at a time. Pets are family and they will be treated as such. I love being outside so I will walk your dog for however long they want to go for. Walks shouldn’t be rushed. I’m excited to meet all the animals I can ! I’m a nursing student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets. Whether you need early morning, evening, overnight, or weekend care, I’ll do my best to work with your schedule. My goal is to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll follow their normal routine, make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention, and always treat them like they’re my own. If your dog enjoys adventures, I know several great local trails for walks, and if they prefer relaxing at home, I’m happy to do that too.

About: I love all animals. I think they are truly such gifts to the world. My experience ranges from puppies and kittens to more senior dogs. One of my regular clients has a dog that requires a little more TLC as he has thyroid and eye issues that require specific medication. I like to ensure all animals are well-loved, cared for, and have all of their needs met. I'm currently a freelancer that can work from anywhere, so I have tons of free time to ensure all pets are well-loved and cared for! I like to thoroughly discuss with my clients what their normal routine with their pets are. Are they allowed on the couch? How often do you go on walks? Dietary restrictions? How often are they fed and how much? Any medications I need to account for? Vet information for emergencies? Etc. Once I've taken all of that information into account, I'll apply all of it during my time with the pets and also supply them with all of the love and attention they could possibly need.
About: There is not a time in my life that I do not remember having an animal in my life. I believe pets are family members and should be treated with love and kindness. I have over 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician and have worked with dogs and cats of every age and temperament. I am currently a stay at home mom of one human baby and 4 fur babies, so my schedule is relatively open! I am currently a stay at home mother of one. I available to walk or check in any time during the day every day of the week for any baby friendly pets or any evening after 4pm for any pets who are not baby friendly. On walks or check ins, my baby will be in a contained chest carrier and unable to interact with pets. I have worked in the veterinary feild for over 5 years and have always treated every pet like my own. I give lots of love and make sure all of their needs are met, while respecting any signs of fear or discomfort the animal may show.
About: *Please note, I will happily work with furry friends that are outside of my displayed work zone, if that is a situation that works for everyone. I truly am a dog and cat person. Dogs, and cats, are part of our families, and enrich our lives. I will always treat your baby, just as you would. I grew up with dogs. When I begged my mom at 12, and got my own dog, my mom told me I would have to do the work, and my mother doesn’t play. I did the work, trained my puppy to use one side of the yard for potty. She was trained so well, she could be walked off leash, and always responded. My dog had allergy problems, at age 12 I gave my dog allergy shots. As an adult, I lived in apartments, and cats suited my life better. I babysat a few cats, one for a month, and then adopted my first cat. Another cat came for a home to my back door. Both of my cats were raised with 3 kids, harmoniously. My schedule is open, whether you need play and activity for your pets, check-ins, or overnights. Mornings, nights, or weekends, I’m here to help your family! My goal caring for your babies, in their homes, is to keep their lives as stable and consistent as possible. I know how important keeping your fur family’s lives as regular as possible is, when you can’t be there. I love your advice on the details of what your baby/babies wants and needs when you can’t be there.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Hydes. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Hydes.

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hydes. On Rover:
- 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
