About: I’ve had animals of all kinds ever since I was little and I currently have a guinea pig. I have been fostering basset hounds over the summer for the past 5 years including puppies and older dogs. I have pet sat for the past 2 years. I’m currently working from 7:15-2:30 on weekdays. I am available from 6:00 am-7:00 am and 3:00 pm -9:00 pm for either drop in visits and dog walking. I follow each pet’s normal routine during drop-in visits, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter care, playtime, and affection. I prioritize safety, monitor for any changes in behavior or health, and always send updates with photos after each visit.

About: Size limit 20 pounds (adult size) for fun and safety (no large breed puppies). Your small or tiny dog will have up to 4 right-sized buddies to play with in my big securely-fenced yard. Professionally, I am a masters-prepared nurse and dog trainer who specializes in working with small dogs and puppies. I have worked with dogs professionally for more than 20 years, as a vet technician and dog trainer. There is no substitute for experience! I am very comfortable monitoring and managing dog play to keep everyone safe and happy, as well as managing special needs, giving medication, bathing, clipping nails, etc. Your dog will thrive with expert care from an experienced professional. I work from home and have lots of extra room on my couch for your little one! Your dog is most welcome to join us for couch time, walkies, and supervised outdoor play time in my large securely fenced garden. I am home most of the time, but I do go out to do normal things (the gym, errands, occasional social engagements). Please let me know if your dog is not crate trained. I do separate the dogs for safety when I Ieave the house, but can use gates or an ex-pen instead of a crate if that works better for your little one. I may be able to accommodate a dog that cannot be left home alone, depending on the specifics, please ask if this is the case. Your dog's safety is my first priority, followed by creating a fun and relaxing environment for your little one. You can relax knowing that your dog is in great hands and enjoying their own doggie vacation. I only accept dog-friendly small dogs under 20 pounds, so your little one will have size-appropriate buddies to play with! I manage drop offs and pickups with safety in mind, and I'm very happy to offer pick up and delivery to make your boarding experience as convenient as possible!

I grew up with a total of five dogs and developed a strong understanding of dogs behavior from an early age. For dog walks, I provide safe, attentive walks tailored to each dog’s energy level, age, and needs. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, bathroom breaks, and positive interaction. During in-home visits, I can handle feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard clean-up, medication administration if needed, and lots of affection and play. I keep a close eye on behavior and well-being and provide updates and photos so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

I started by walking an elderly neighbors dog because I wanted to dog to get a nice walk, and ended up adopting him, though I am the one getting the most out of this arrangement. Very sensitive to changes that effect senior dogs and will gladly accommodate all special requests. In the human health care field and very attuned to special health needs of canines. I am dependable, reliable, caring and willing to go the extra mile for your dog. I coordinate a small neighborhood organization that raises funds on a small scale basis for local cat rescue. About: I've been a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience of hands-on pet care. Growing up, I helped care for family cats and dogs, and have always been the go-to person for friends, family, and neighbors when they need trusted pet care. I have a flexible schedule and work remotely for the most part. With appropriate notice, I can be available throughout the morning, afternoon and evening for walks or drop in visits. If you book me for house sitting, I can do most of my work from your home with minimal time away. I do work on site one morning per week for 4 hours, but will let you know more about that if we both feel like my care is a good fit for you. Every pet is unique, so I always start by learning about your pet's specific routine, personality, and preferences. My approach is all about making sure they feel comfortable and stick to what they know.
