She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! “My lhasa apso is very attached to us and shows high anxiety when a family member is not around, even to the point of vomiting when my daughter went away on a trip in June. I was very nervous about leaving him during our family vacation, but Sarah and her family went above and beyond to make sure that Oliver was comfortable. He received lots of belly rubs and attention, went on nice walks and trips to the dog park, and became BFF's with Jack, their beagle. Sarah sent numerous pictures at least twice a day, and my favorites were of Oliver and Jack snuggling together. Seeing this pictures greatly helped my own anxiety at being so far away from my fur baby. Sarah also gave updates. Her family just really seemed to understand dogs. She was not upset when Oliver had "marked a piece of furniture" but was totally cool about it; similarly, when I warned her that Oliver is prone to throwing up when away from his family, her response was, "we have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean up." Oliver had a wonderful experience with Sarah, Jack, and the rest of the family, and I recommend her for anyone and especially those with anxious pups.”

About: I have experience taking care of a border collie, Australian Shepard, and a German Shepard. I enjoy walking around the city and always open to a companion or two joining me. I am able to host dogs at my place, with my German Shepard. I have a fully fenced in yard that all dogs can play in, and I can walk them around my neighborhood. I am also able to do drop in visits for dogs or cats and stop by to walk any dogs. I normally travel for work 3 days a week. When not traveling I am either working from home or have local visits. I plan out my visits so that any pets staying with me will not go longer than 4 hours alone. I will allow all dogs to roam freely while I’m at home and take a break to play with them, and my dog, for about 10 minutes every hour. It gets boring sitting in front of a computer. For any walks or drop ins the time is spent making sure they get plenty of stimulation. Whether it’s walking a new route or playing in the yard I have a fenced in back yard. No other dogs or animals get in the yard, except a squirrel or two. When walking in my neighborhood there is minimal traffic since it has no way for cars to go through it( a lot of dead end streets). I’m close to 695 so if an emergency happens I can get to many vets in the area fast.

About: With 15 years of pet ownership, I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and communicative. I'm a pet owner too, so I know how important it is to stick to your pet's routine and send plenty of updates so you can relax. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible schedule. My campus is only a 10-minute drive away, which means I can easily come home to check on your pet every 2-4 hours, or as often as needed. My neighborhood has plenty of green spaces and safe areas, perfect for long walks and playtime. My home features a secure, fenced-in backyard with plenty of grass, giving your pet a safe space to play and take comfortable potty breaks. About: I have been a dog lover my entire life, but after getting my first dog at 18 I decided to become a professional dog lover. I have worked at boarding kennels, vet clinics and shelters and for the last 8 years have owned and operated a training company where we have offered in home care for a variety of pets. I love working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I love even more getting to make them a part of my extended family. Pet care is our routine around here! Aside from running our human kiddo to school, my entire days revolve around the needs of the dogs in our home. We set aside time for playtime in the yard, cuddles on the couch, and training time for pups booked through my training company. I have a fully fenced yard with a secondary fenced space for smaller dogs. We have 3 resident dogs who are all friendly and playful, and grumpy old man cat who mostly avoids the dogs.
