About: I have worked at a pet store as the Animal Care Leader; I've taken care of hundreds of animals at a time, all of different species, so I can take anything into account when it comes to your dogs needs, as well as any exotic pets you may also need care for. I also have direct experience working with dogs at a doggy day care and boarding facility, and am familiar the quirks of many different breeds. When it comes to animals, I know it all! I'm a work from home artist, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs. I have open availability for weekdays and weekends. If you have multiple animals, I am capable of separating any possible scuffles that may occur, and crate anyone that needs some time to cool off, if the option is available. Otherwise, I can place them in separate rooms if playtime gets too rough.

About: I grew up in a house that was always filled with pets and have carried that love of taking care of animals into my adult life. In my free time, I volunteer at BARCs and am certified in their cat and dog care programs. I have experience with dogs from the small to the large and with cats from the friendly to the, well, less friendly! I would happy to hear how I can help you with your pet! I am working part time in the service industry as I pursue my education. I have a very flexible schedule and have reliable means of transportation. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise or just a couch snuggle buddy, I'm the one for the job. I live in a rowhome in the Bolton Hill neighborhood of Baltimore with my friendly cat, Munch. Munch is good with other cats and dogs, and can be separated and left on the second floor if your pet isn't the best with cats. I do not have a backyard but live in a peaceful neighborhood with easily accessible dog parks just right down the street. If you are interested in having me sit for your pet, I am happy to stay the night or just pop in and check on your buddy whenever needed. I have reliable transportation and a very flexible schedule!

“Taylor is fantastic. She is very personable, and she is gentle and loving with my dog Duke. I contacted her the morning of and she was able to come take care of my dog that same day with little notice. My dog has stomach issues sometimes, and she even helped with cleanup when he had an accident in the house, on top of feeding him and taking him for a nice walk in the park. Duke and I are very happy that we found Taylor 💙”

About: I have pet sat dogs of all ages. I have raised my pup, Remi, from the age of 6 weeks. He has mega esophagus so I have hands-on experience caring for dogs with special needs and medication. I work full time during the week which leaves me available and yearning for some puppy love on the weekends! I am also free during certain holidays. In my home and a client’s home, I can easily crate your dog as needed. As well as, provide them with medication and joint massages. I love to play games to keep your little one’s mind sharp and busy. We will be sure to get out the house and stretch our legs and get some social interaction in along the way.

About: Hello! I'm an experienced animal caretaker available for walking, petsitting, and administering medications. I adore animals of all kinds - I grew up with 4 dogs, 3 cats, hamsters, turtles, and mice. I am comfortable with all breeds and temperaments and will take care of your furbaby as I would my own! Spending time with your pup helps fill the void on not having my own pup. I am dependable and I love being outdoors (rain or shine). I have a flexible work schedule and I would be glad to help with your pet needs. I am currently taking clients in the Mount Vernon area and adjacent neighborhoods. I am a social worker with a flexible weekday schedule and can set plenty of time aside to care for and play with your pets! Once I take care of your pet’s needs, I’ll pet and play with them until the end of our visit. For more timid pets, I will hang out near them and let them come to me when they are ready :) I will ensure that your pets are leashed or within a fenced-in area. I accompany them for as long as they want to be outside. I will always refer back to any care list instructions to ensure that I am doing everything your pet needs.

About: My grandparents lived next to a farm when I was growing up so I was surrounded my animals of all kinds from an early age! I also grew up with all kinds of dogs and cats. I have 3 cats of my own. I have also had reptiles and furry little critters. I have experience with puppies and kittens too! I am a hairstylist who makes my own hours. I have flexibility to leave work throughout the day. I typically have off Sunday-Tuesday every week. I am responsible and reliable when it comes to the safety of your pet. I respect your house and home as if it were my own!

About: During grad school & now these last two years, I’ve been the friend who’s called upon for when there’s a pet in need: drop-in visits with dogs to check-in, give them some love, and walk them, as well as daily feedings and playtime with cats to provide enrichment! In my 9-5, I work as a case manager, so I have a trained eye and ear for anything that may be concerning. While I work a 9-5, I’m remote Mondays and Fridays. So, I can do early morning, lunchtime, and evening drop-ins and walks between Fridays- Mondays! More availability on the weekends, too! When establishing trust with pets, I understand there can be a range of boundaries. Some may be open right away and quickly bond with me, while others may need to sit in the same room for a little bit to establish trust. If more time is needed, I’m happy to do a meet & greet!

“Zachary did an excellent job. This was my first time using Zachary and everything went smoothly. I would definitely use him again… and it looks like the dogs would like that too!!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Aaliyah. I have trusted her as my dog sitter for years. She has a second-nature connection with dogs; they just love her. She has always been incredibly patient and accommodating to my rescue’s severe separation anxiety, as well as the medicine schedule and routines that accompany that. Every time that I return from a trip, it seems that she has taught him a new trick. She is also great about providing photo & video updates of my baby. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Tara did an absolutely amazing job taking care of my bb girl Sierra and our row home! It was my first time using the Rover app, and I was a bit nervous about leaving my cat for so long, but Tara kept me updated the whole time and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She took such great care of Sierra, especially with her arthritis and all. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Tara!”

16. Zoe S.
“Hi! So I’m Zoe’s boss at the Hair Salon she’s been working at for over two years now. Working with her has been so incredibly lovely and I would even consider her a dear friend at this point. She always goes above and beyond and every animal she crosses falls in love with her. Hire this amazing human!!!”

17. Anthony R.
