About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I grew up with a large dog who was deeply loved and considered part of the family. Caring for him taught me how to recognize an animal’s needs, understand body language, and approach pets with patience, respect, and compassion through all stages of their lives. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats belonging to friends and family through regular check-ins, weekend visits, week-long house-sitting stays, and week-long dog-sitting stays in my own home. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and may need time to feel comfortable with someone new or in a new environment. I am patient during that adjustment period and always do my best to maintain their normal routine and help them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in ecology and marine biology. I also recently completed an internship with Zoo Miami in animal care, training, and husbandry. This experience strengthened my ability to observe animal behavior, respond appropriately to their needs, and communicate with animals using clear, consistent, and positive methods. I am new to the city and currently have full availability including last minute scheduling, and I am excited to build trusted relationships with local pet owners and their animals. Animal welfare is extremely important to me, and I would treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I would want for my own. I recently moved to the city and currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day, seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This flexibility allows me to accommodate check-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute requests whenever possible. I care for every pet according to their usual routine, personality, and individual needs. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner, and I take time to help each pet feel safe and comfortable with me. In a client’s home, I am respectful of both the pet’s space and the home itself. I make sure doors, windows, gates, leashes, and carriers are secure, keep food and potentially harmful items out of reach, and leave the home clean and orderly. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. I supervise pets closely, give them plenty of attention, and help them adjust patiently to the new surroundings. I understand that some animals need more time and space than others, so I always pay attention to their body language and comfort level.

I work from home full-time during weekdays but have a flexible schedule that allows me to take on dog walking during mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm looking for regular clients who need consistent care, whether that's daily walks, weekend visits, or occasional drop-ins. I live in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore and am happy to work with clients in my neighborhood. Walking is something I already enjoy and build into my day, so adding dog walks feels natural rather than squeezed in. I'm reliable about communication and will always let you know if my availability changes. For dog walking, I always ensure dogs are securely leashed before leaving the home and stay alert to their body language and the environment around us. I'm comfortable navigating busy sidewalks, parks, and quieter residential areas depending on what the dog prefers. I follow any specific instructions owners provide about routes, other dogs, or behavioral needs. If watching pets in their home, I'm respectful of the space, follow feeding and medication schedules carefully, and keep owners updated. I understand the responsibility of having someone's keys and entering their home, and I take that trust seriously.

About: Hi, please call me Jupiter :) Pets have been in my life since I was six, and in one way or another I've found myself responsible for the care of one since I was ten or so! Whether it be family, friends, or a stray - I adore animals! I pride myself in my approach to pets as I do with children: be firm, but respectful. Understand boundaries and do my best to read the situation with what information I'm given and what I can infer from there. Its always great to immediately bond with a furry friend, but all living beings deserve basic respect and compassion! I've met very few pets I didn't hit it off with, but even my great aunt's black cat, old and cranky as he is, let me feed him and exist nearby without claws (as is his M.O. with anyone who isn't his owner). Long story short, I adore all the fauna earth has to offer and make it my mission to successfully cohabitate at minimum, and a strong bond more often :) I now have a car again! I work 5p to 8p Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 12p-5p Sunday and 8a-8p Wednesday and Thursday! The day time hours are subject to change based on the gig but i'm always off Saturday and don't mind working you and your furry friend into my schedule! Overnights are fine though Id have to leave early on those 12 hour days - coming back after isn't an issue for longer stays! Drop ins are extra welcome at the moment :) While I cannot board, I take care to leave a home as I found it, if not better. I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.

About: I’ve been caring for cats, dogs, rabbits- you name it, since I was pretty young. My dad was in veterinary care so I know how to tend to animals who aren’t doing too well as well. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, trim nails, train and bathe their pets. I am currently able to house sit any day of the week. I am available for dog (or cat) walking any day from 12:00pm to 10:00pm. I would appreciate getting a 48 hour notice in advance. I will always make sure that your pet has everything they need. I regularly check and refill the water bowls, frequently walk dogs (if needed), feed them at the time indicated by the pet owner, play with your pet/ keep your pet company, and take long enough walks for your pup to get proper exercise.
