About: Hello! I go by Sun (they/he) I am lover and owner of many pets since I was a child. I have experience with all kinds of dog breeds, big and small, I love them all! I aim to build trust and create healthy boundaries while also having fun with every animal under my care. Family and friends have relied on me for years for both short and long term care for our/their furry family members, especially during holidays or long term trips. I take pride in my attention to detail and will make sure to follow all care instructions to the best of my abilities. Being a full time tattoo artist gives me time in between my (usually) short appts to take care of all your pets needs, day or night. My weekdays tend to be open but I can provide services on weekends and overnight if given extended notice When I don’t have appts at my studio I can drop in, hang out, or walk your pet! I can provide detail oriented care of your pet at your home. I will do my best to match the energy of your pet in order to build trust and familiarity. Separation for Meals: Dogs are safely separated during feeding times and when enjoying high value treats to prevent any resource guarding or food anxiety. Secure Outdoor Adventures: Strict Leash Policy: When walking outside including our two laps around Lake Montebello dogs are securely double checked on their harnesses and leashes at all times. About: I've been pet sitting for years and love every dog like they're my own. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, high-energy breeds, medications, teeth brushing, and special care routines. I’ve cared for animals of all personalities so I'll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy while you're away! I currently work part time with a varying schedule. I’m available for boarding most nights, weekends included! I work at a local doggy daycare and may be able to take your pup home for you! I have a fenced backyard with flowers growing for your pet to smell! They’d have plenty of friends within my 3 cats and my dog & I’m near multiple parks for fun walks. Working in your home, I love the for the pet to have access to as minimal amount of rooms as possible to reduce any hiding behaviors (especially with cats). All medications need to be placed in cabinets out of reach (even your melatonin - trust me, they do crazy things when missing you), and required supplies should be grouped together. About: Hi, please call me Jupiter :) Pets have been in my life since I was six, and in one way or another I've found myself responsible for the care of one since I was ten or so! Whether it be family, friends, or a stray - I adore animals! I pride myself in my approach to pets as I do with children: be firm, but respectful. Understand boundaries and do my best to read the situation with what information I'm given and what I can infer from there. Its always great to immediately bond with a furry friend, but all living beings deserve basic respect and compassion! I've met very few pets I didn't hit it off with, but even my great aunt's black cat, old and cranky as he is, let me feed him and exist nearby without claws (as is his M.O. with anyone who isn't his owner). Long story short, I adore all the fauna earth has to offer and make it my mission to successfully cohabitate at minimum, and a strong bond more often :) I now have a car again! I work 5p to 8p Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 12p-5p Sunday and 8a-8p Wednesday and Thursday! The day time hours are subject to change based on the gig but i'm always off Saturday and don't mind working you and your furry friend into my schedule! Overnights are fine though Id have to leave early on those 12 hour days - coming back after isn't an issue for longer stays! Drop ins are extra welcome at the moment :) While I cannot board, I take care to leave a home as I found it, if not better. I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.
