About: My name is Sophia and I am a lover of all animals and a full time exclusive pet caregiver for over 10 years in the Baltimore region. It is truly my passion to provide exceptional and personalized one-on-one pet care for families in an era where kennels, boarding facilities, and multi-client sitters have left many owners traumatized and feeling hopeless in their options. I understand that leaving a piece of family behind whether it be for vacation or work is always difficult, my goal is to be a safe haven of comfort for families- providing the peace and ease of always knowing your pet is safe and will be cared for as if they were my own whilst in my home. Through a safe and comforting environment where they do not share space with other animals, dedicated & loving hands on care, detailed in-depth updates and plenty of cute photos of their day to day, I am here to be your pets favorite secondary home when they can’t accompany your travels😊 I am currently studying to obtain certificates in IV Companion Animal Services as well as Dog Training, I also volunteer regularly at my local SPCA & take in rescues on fostering basis which has provided me in-depth knowledge of animal behaviors and their needs for all breeds and ages. With how long I’ve been a pet caregiver I’ve really experienced it all at this point in terms of temperaments, behaviors, breeds, and quirks, which means I am equip to handle it all! I have extensive experience with different medical conditions so I am fully trained to facilitate and fulfill specific medical regimes including administering shots, giving oral pills, or applying ointments/eyedrops as needed. I am also certified through American Red Cross Dog and Cat First Aid Training to provide CPR and first aid in emergency critical situations with a full service Pet First Aid Kit in home. I specialize in reactive/anxious dogs and am recognized for having immense success in mitigating behavioral concerns whilst in my care. Covid pups who are still finding their way, rescues who have histories of abuse, the quirky ones who have a disdain of other humans/dogs/kids, and our separation anxiety worrywarts- I am trained and experienced with all of these behaviors and am able to understand their needs and provide calm and peace with ease. I have years of experience and extensive knowledge of dogs who have specific hygiene needs because of breeding impairment (flat faced/short nosed breeds) and have the experience to maintain strict hygiene needs such as wiping of paw pads, tear ducts, and facial folds and trained in their possible health complications/signs of risk. I am also specialized in providing senior and end of life care for the golden years providing a peaceful secondary home in times of need. Many of these precious pups are in need of strict medical regimes, potty incontinence outings or diaper changing, movement limitations, and feeding assistance- all of which I am fully trained for and able to provide in any frequency or diligence needed or requested. I also have lots of experience with puppies and high energy dogs providing essential mental and physical enrichment through regular structured routines and movement, sensory exploration, and foraging games and stimulation as allowed by owner. My lifestyle and petsitting full time really allows me to be flexible to any regime or care routine needed for each individual pet as well as if you have any specific questions or accommodations needed for care please don’t hesitate to reach out to further discuss! I’ve been a sitter for years and one thing I’ve gotten really good at is balancing my own personal schedule with providing the best care possible. Currently pet sitting is my full time job so I am home almost 24/7 happy to provide all the care and attention your furry friend needs! In my home your pets comfort is my top priority. I live in a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in Pen Lucy in a very lush and family oriented/dog neighborhood so there’s lots of grass all around and I have all the space inside to accommodate! With this to note though I do live on the second floor and there’s two flights of steps your dog would have to be able to go up/down on so wanted to note this for my seniors or pups with bad hips or knees. I allow them on all of my furniture, the only limit to this is my bedroom at night as my cats are territorial to this and like to sleep in bed with me. I have an array of toys all around the house they are welcome to as well as have bowls and bags and such but always appreciate when those items are provided and they are welcomed as they remind them of home and is great way to get them cozy in a new space. I also have lots of beds, blankets, and cozy spots for them to snuggle up in as no furniture is off limits! I am great with independent animals that just want to keep to themselves as well as our separation anxiety babies who need that extra boost of loving and stick to your side like glue and do my best to cater to what your animal needs at any given moment. I send lots of detailed updates and photos and videos as well with my goal being to provide the most peace of mind as if you never left them at all. Inside client's home for house sitting I will adhere to all rules laid out by the owner whilst respecting the home and maintaining the same level of care. Although I will note I do not accept any house sitting requests where I am not allowed to leave the property as I have my own animals at home and would have to leave occasionally to take care of them from time to time.

About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I grew up with a large dog who was deeply loved and considered part of the family. Caring for him taught me how to recognize an animal’s needs, understand body language, and approach pets with patience, respect, and compassion through all stages of their lives. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats belonging to friends and family through regular check-ins, weekend visits, week-long house-sitting stays, and week-long dog-sitting stays in my own home. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and may need time to feel comfortable with someone new or in a new environment. I am patient during that adjustment period and always do my best to maintain their normal routine and help them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in ecology and marine biology. I also recently completed an internship with Zoo Miami in animal care, training, and husbandry. This experience strengthened my ability to observe animal behavior, respond appropriately to their needs, and communicate with animals using clear, consistent, and positive methods. I am new to the city and currently have full availability including last minute scheduling, and I am excited to build trusted relationships with local pet owners and their animals. Animal welfare is extremely important to me, and I would treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I would want for my own. I recently moved to the city and currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day, seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This flexibility allows me to accommodate check-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute requests whenever possible. I care for every pet according to their usual routine, personality, and individual needs. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner, and I take time to help each pet feel safe and comfortable with me. In a client’s home, I am respectful of both the pet’s space and the home itself. I make sure doors, windows, gates, leashes, and carriers are secure, keep food and potentially harmful items out of reach, and leave the home clean and orderly. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. I supervise pets closely, give them plenty of attention, and help them adjust patiently to the new surroundings. I understand that some animals need more time and space than others, so I always pay attention to their body language and comfort level.

I live in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore and am happy to work with clients in my neighborhood. Walking is something I already enjoy and build into my day, so adding dog walks feels natural rather than squeezed in. About: I've been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. I've had my own dog since I was six years old, and over the years I've cared for more than five dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. From walks and playtime to feeding, bathing, and plenty of cuddles, I genuinely love every part of caring for them. I treat every dog like they're my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while they're with me. I absolutely adore dogs, and I can't wait to meet your babt! I'm currently a full-time college student, so my schedule is designed to fit around classes. I'm available on weekdays after 3:00 PM and have open availability on weekends. I'll always communicate my availability clearly and make sure your pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve! I've cared for my own dog since I was six years old, so looking after dogs has always been part of my daily life. I know how important it is to keep them on a consistent routine, so I make sure they're fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and, of course, lots of love and attention. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. About: I have taken care of cats since I was 7. I also had my first dog at the age of 9. I’ve spent my whole life taking care of animals as if they’re my siblings. As of right now, I am a taking a gap year from full-time university, so my schedule is flexible. I play water games with the dogs and keep them company during their stay. I love to spend time with animals like best friends would. I enjoy cleaning food dishes and feeding the pets. I’m currently a university student studying for a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and planning. I also work part time in the summer, but I can always work around my schedule to accommodate your pets :) I have a fenced backyard as well as cameras that overlook the front, back, and garage. I ensure safety by locking doors and keeping a constant eye on them. I also like to be in the room with the pet my entire visit.
