About: My name is Bob, and I have been a dog owner for over 8 years, currently owning two energetic pups, Ellie and Watson! My wife works from home, so someone is almost always home, unless we all go ot in the evening! Our kids are 12 and over, and we all love spending time not only with our dogs(and cats!), but meeting new ones as well. Our rescue dogs, Ellie(18 month old female Australian Shepherd/Catahoula) and Watson(1 year old male Schnauzer/Terrier) enjoy spending time playing in the yard together when weather is nice, or horsing around together inside. They love socializing and playing at the dog park too, so having a 'play date' would be good fun for them! We have free access to water at all times, toys to play with, and healthy treats, if allowed by visiting pets' owners. Feedings for our dogs happen twice a day at 8 am and 5 pm; arrangements could be made regarding your pet's feeding needs, depending on time of day, and length of stay. Walks, playing, and lots of attention guaranteed! We can be flexible to meet your needs; please ask.
“Alex did a great job walking my senior pup the past two weeks! He's very responsive on the app and was even willing to be flexible on the timing when something came up last minute. I recommend him for anyone looking for a dependable walker. Thanks Alex!”

About: I have been gaining experience in the world of pet care since I was 10 years old. I have two big dogs and two cats of my own (one of which is sometimes temperamental so I have some experience dealing with angry cats!) Aside from cats and dogs, I also have experience with several other types of animals, including bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards, bearded dragons, and birds. My experience has shaped me into a confident caregiver and I’m excited for what future opportunities this app has to offer! I am a student at Towson University in the honors college, and once classes start I have a strict schedule and I need something I can do that I will both enjoy and give me purpose, and also fit in my schedule. At home, my pets are a big part of my day, they give me routine and purpose and I love taking care of them! I have one big German Shepard and a standard poodle and I like to walk them both for an hour every day and make sure they get lots of attention and love. Walking times can vary depending on what ur pup needs - I'm happy to go on long walks or short more staggered walks throughout the day. Currently, my poodle, Quinnie, has advanced cancer. I am extremely observant of his energy levels and changes in his personality so I can care for him the best I can and keep him comfortable. I would provide the same vigilance and attention to other pets that I do for my friend Quinnie.
“Wonderful dog walker and pet sitter and a true animal lover! She walked my high-energy beagle/hound twice a week for about six months and even took her running, which she loves! She sends pictures every time, which I really appreciate. And she would give my cat some snuggles and attention, too. I called on her last month to pet sit in my home for several days while I was traveling, and she was awesome. I felt great knowing the pets were getting a lot of attention while I was away, and again, the pictures! Sad to see her leave our area-- she is fantastic!”

“Ivan is the best! Our dog can be reactive and Ivan did a great job of being very patient and calm despite our dog being quite mean. Would highly recommend!”

“Maria has been great for me and my dogs. She immediately won them over during our meet and greet. She send regular updates and photos which are much appreciated while I’m gone. I can also tell she truly cares by the questions she asks regarding the dogs needs.”

“Corinne was great! She met us for a meet and greet before the walk, and she responded quickly to our questions. She was great with Sadie--a large dog who can be very energetic--and she was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to everyone on Rover.”

About: I have 3 dogs and a bird myself, so I understand the responsibility of pets. Family friends have always relied on me to watch their pets while on vacations and trips. I am currently a college student at Loyola University Maryland. My schedule is pretty flexible outside of my classes and my weekends are usually available. I communicate with owners so the pets are cared for exactly how they need to be. I also treat everyone’s pet as my own, so I can ensure that they will receive love and care.
“Maggie is terrific!! See you clearly loves dogs and was fantastic with mine. She was reliable, flexible and went above and beyond. I was actually home because I have an injury and cannot walk my dogs right now and she was kind enough to even go get me something from the store. I would definitely call upon Maggie again.”

“It is wonderful to have someone like Courtenay to care for our pup. Makes all the difference in the world when you are away to know you have someone you trust taking care of your furry family member(s).”

About: I have been caring for my neighbors and family members pets since I was ten. I love helping out with animals and I am well versed in dogs with diverse personalities. I am constantly around 2 or more pets at a time. I am home from college for the summer. I am a club lacrosse coach and as the summer season comes to an end, I have lots of availability during my day to help out with your pet care needs In my house I am responsible for walking and feeding my family pets. I usually take my dogs out for a mile walk in the morning and then intermittently during the day. I am a college athlete so if you need your dog to get in a little extra exercise I am also willing to take your dogs on runs with me!
“Sierra is amazing. She truly connected with our two dogs (both husky mixes), and they couldn't wait for her to arrive so they could on their walks with her. She has a great personality and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a true professional.”

About: I’ve had pets all of my life (18 years) and I’ve learned that I love animals and taking care of them just comes easy to me. I would love to watch and take care of dogs. I will treat your pet like it’s one of my own. I’m currently in the process of finding a new job so I will be free everyday of the week until then! If I could make dog walking/sitting my main job, I would love to do that! I handle pets with care and respect. I never want to hurt an animal. I will do whatever the pet owner needs me to do with no problem.
“We have been looking for the best fit in dog walkers for our rescue pitbull. He found a great match in Michael! Michael is attentive, kind, communicative, interactive, and consistent. Our dog really enjoys being around him and listens to his directives.”

“Elizabeth is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and my dog loved her. My dog is somewhat skiddish due to her past, and it's a comfort to know that Elizabeth knows exactly how to behave around and interact with her without scaring her. I know that having Elizabeth come walk my pup midday significantly increases her quality of life. She felt comfortable around Elizabeth right away, and I'm so glad she's available to give my pup some love and enrichment while I'm at work.”

“My pit bull mix Annie has some issues with anxiety and reactivity, but Lindsay does a great job keeping her calm and feeling safe! I know she is taken good care of while I'm at work!”

Ivan was a hero to me and my little guy-swooping in for a last minute walk when I was going to be away for an extended period. He was very communicative, Amos was well taken care of, and apparently Ivan is a popular guy on our block-also regularly caring for another pup up the street. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

From our first meeting, I felt completely at ease with Irene. I had no fears of giving her a key to my home, but most importantly the care and affection she would show toPenny. I. The pictures she sends me of Penny, I can see Penny’s enjoyment in her walks. When I get home,Penny is calmer and less stressed. I am so happy Irene will continue to walk Penny when I am at work.🥰🥰🥰

Maggie is terrific!! See you clearly loves dogs and was fantastic with mine. She was reliable, flexible and went above and beyond. I was actually home because I have an injury and cannot walk my dogs right now and she was kind enough to even go get me something from the store. I would definitely call upon Maggie again.

Alex was so warm, calm, and easygoing that he immediately made us feel comfortable, especially since this was our first time hiring a pet sitter. He took the time to get to know our husky, listened carefully to all of our instructions, and made sure our pup was well cared for, walked, and able to go potty. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. Thank you, Alex, for making our first Rover experience such a positive and wonderful one!

Carys was great with Harley! She always gave her long walks, was super kind, responsible, and easy to talk to. Communication was always great and I always felt comfortable knowing Harley was in good hands. You can tell she really cares about the dogs she works with. I would definitely recommend her!

Very happy with the service provided. The request was semi last minute as I'm dealing with family issues, but we were able to work something out. She met up with the dogs and I prior to the walk to discuss their specific needs and to meet them. During the walk(s) she was very communicative, thorough and attentive to the point where I felt like I was walking my own dogs lol. Bottom line, this isn't a 1 and done, I will be requesting her services again, I suggest you do the same.

Aidan took wonderful care of our foster, Tango, who had just recently gotten neutered. I was nervous about leaving him, but after a meet and greet with Aidan, I knew he was in great hands. They were very respectful of the notes I left and were attuned to Tango's needs in his vulnerable state. Their calm and grounding energy was just what Tango needed during his recovery. I would highly recommend Aidan to anyone who is looking for a thoughtful, kind, and reliable person to care for their pets.
