About: Thanks for checking out my profile! I am a registered veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. I offer dog sitting in my home in north Baltimore City, and I really love what I do! I enjoy having my doggie guests, and I enjoy being able to provide a service for pet owners. I take pride in providing personal, individual care for all the pets that I watch. I treat my petsitting dogs just like I'd want my own pets to be treated! I am a registered vet tech (although not working in a vet office right now) and have also been petsitting for almost 20 years. I take my responsibilities as a pet sitter seriously, as I know that I am being entrusted with the care of your beloved family member. Safety really is a number one priority with me, and I'm a stickler about fences being shut or keeping dogs on leashes outside. I actually go outside with any guest doggies, whether they're in the fenced yard or I'm walking them on a leash, rest assured they'll be supervised. I usually only watch one dog at a time unless they're a pair from one family (although there are times when there's a little overlap, say at the beginningor end of a stay, but ill let owners know if this is the case) My yard is fully fenced in. Good for a game of fetch, and a convenient potty break, but for some more excersize, Chinquapin Park is very close by. Pets are welcome on furniture, and there's a comfy dog bed on every level. And I know it is hard to leave your dog behind, so I send updates, texts, pictures so you know how everything is going! As far as my pets, I only have one personal pet left, my big fat scaredy cat named Meow. We had to put my beloved dog Buddy to sleep a few years ago, but I was blessed to have him for over 16 years. So now it's just me, the cat, and my husband, Jarett, who is also a huge animal lover and great with dogs. We have a 6 year old daughter, Josie, as well, although she is only here on weekends right now because she is going to school near my parents house, in the county, and she stays with them during the week. Josie isn't your typical loud, hyper 6 year old, however - she is pretty quiet, quite laid back, and always extremely respectful of my client's dogs. I started teaching her young how to act around animals :) I do ask that your dog be house-trained and free of fleas, and up to date on basic vaccinations. I want to make sure I maintain a safe and clean environment for your pet and any others that I watch :) I provide a laid back, very loving, and safe home-away-from-home while you're away. I have a lot of experience in the veterinary field, mostly dogs and cats, but I've worked with exotics and horses as well. I've been a veterinary technician virtually my whole adult life and have a degree in this field. I've run dog training classes, and have experience grooming as well. About my yard Chain link fence, standard height (somewhere between 3 1/2 and 4 feet) Grass yard that I keep clean. Yard is secure and I'm always outside with the dogs, so everyone should be contained and safe, but if your dog is a jumper or a real houdini then someone with a six-foot fence is probably better. My experience administering medication Because of the work that I do, I have ample experience in medicating pets. I am certified in pet CPR, I can administer insulin as well as monitor diabetic animals. I'm experienced and very comfortable with injections, oral medications, sub-q fluids, eye and ear medications, and topical meds. I am currently working only part time and often from home, so I am available virtually all the time to provide not only love and companionship, but the best possible care for your pet. I have a warm and cozy, clean household to relax in, a fenced yard for playing and potty breaks, and live close to Chinquapin Park for walks and runs.

About: I have taken care of cats since I was 7. I also had my first dog at the age of 9. I’ve spent my whole life taking care of animals as if they’re my siblings. As of right now, I am a taking a gap year from full-time university, so my schedule is flexible. I play water games with the dogs and keep them company during their stay. I love to spend time with animals like best friends would. I enjoy cleaning food dishes and feeding the pets. I’m currently a university student studying for a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and planning. I also work part time in the summer, but I can always work around my schedule to accommodate your pets :) I have a fenced backyard as well as cameras that overlook the front, back, and garage. I ensure safety by locking doors and keeping a constant eye on them. I also like to be in the room with the pet my entire visit.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm but have switched to caring for our smaller four legged friends in my adult life. As a vet assistant I’ve handled various medical needs for furry friends, and have a disabled boy of my own. 🐈 I have experience caring for babies and seniors alike, with medication administration included. My experience in the medical field the past 10 years adds additional value in case of event. My wife and I along with Moose and Marcie recently moved to the area and I have an open schedule to visit your babies! While I do have some obligations, I will work to ensure nothing intervenes with your pets care. While I am unable to bring other pets in my home, I will cater care to the pet owners preference. I am clean, tidy, honest, and will respect your home and privacy. You will come home to a house exactly as you left it. About: I've been around dogs and cats since I can remember. Love to be around pets and learn what they like and need. Whether it's long walks or chilling on the couch, I'm here for it all. I have a very flexible schedule. I can be available most days between 9 am and 6 pm with advanced notice, including Saturdays and Sundays. Personalizing care for each pet is the name of the game. I'm currently under the rule of 2 cats that demand couch time at all times, but playtime is never neglected. For higher energy pets, I try to have them spend as much energy as I can so they have the best naps ever. All while respecting each pets boundaries, of course.
