I currently work most weekday evenings and Sundays and have daytime flexibility, so I'd love to offer support during time when many are at a 9-5 job or on weekends during travel.

I don't have breed preferences, I have more experience with larger dogs but feel I could care for all breeds with instruction from owners about any special needs the dogs may have.
A typical day
I love taking long walks with dogs, but am also up for other activities for animals that need more running or ways to get their energy out. Growing up I loved taking my dog swimming and playing fetch by the water, so if that is something your dog enjoys as well I'd love to do that with them. I also like taking dogs to the park to play fetch or play with other dogs to get some good socialization time in. I am also willing to take dogs out on runs - I personally usually run about 2-3 miles at a time 1-2 times a week, so can run with a dog while dog sitting as well.

Pet care experience
I am a natural caretaker and love caring for pets of my own and my friends and family. I have cared for pets for most of my life and am excited to offer my services to pet owners in the DC area. I have a cat of my own, a 2 year old black cat named Binx who is full of energy and affection. He has all my love and cuddles. I also help my family care for their dog Isabella, a 7 year old terrier/lab mix who loves going on long walks with me and throwing the ball in the yard. She had a partner until recently named Chico, a greyhound/lab mix, who was full of affection and had some arthritis in his back legs that required extra care. My mom is handicapped so I supported her in getting him extra equipment, driving him to and from the vet, and exercising him regularly within his movement range. Before this, I cared for our family dog, a yellow lab named Lilly, from middle school through high school and college. I help a roommate of mine with her cat Lela, a talkative and sassy lady who started coming into my room for morning cuddles and talks. We also had two cats when I was young, Precious and Cokey, who tolerated me smothering them with love in the way kids do.

Corinne took amazing care of our dog. Lots of walks and pictures. He was very happy and I could tell that he really got close to her. Corinne has an awesome spot and two friendly cats. Highly recommend!

This was our first time working with a pet sitter and Corinne was great! Our cat enjoyed the cuddles and getting to stay home instead of boarding. Would definitely recommend!
