I have mostly cared for many dogs and cats but a number of other kinds of animals as well for 10+ years now. All ages, behaviors, and sizes and I love them all! Over the past decade I have been trusted by countless family, friends, and coworkers to give their furry buddies as much love and care as possible. Animals feel very comfortable around me since I understand their behavior and respect boundaries based on their experiences.

Amanda was great and took wonderful care of our frenchie! He takes medication 3 time a day, so he takes a little extra care. Amanda slept over for 4 nights and left our house spotless! We will definitely be booking Amanda again!

Amanda was wonderful with our pets while we were out of town. Our doggo is wary of new people, but Ananda has a magic touch and knew just how to make her feel safe. We came home to a very clean house and two happy, healthy pets.

Amanda was the best! I was very skeptical about hiring someone who I didn’t know to stay at my house for a week while on vacation but Amanda gave us peace of mind while we were away. She was very communicative, she sent pics and updates daily. You could tell she loves animas and my pets felt it while we were away. She even cleaned our house while she was here. I cannot recommend her more and I will absolutely be using her again, thanks Amanda!

Schedule
I can house sit and pet sit any day of the week. Week days I’ll be at work from 8am-4pm during the day so I can take care of them in the morning, and be back in enough time to take care of them in the evening and throughout the night. Weekends are open, I just need at least a couple days advanced request.

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is in a safe neighborhood and up on the third floor with doors and windows safely secured. There are lots of small parks near us as well as the big Druid Hill park right down the road. Plenty of walkable areas and sniffable spots! If I’m in another persons home, I want to make sure I know all the locks that are needed and security codes to the doors (if any) to keep them protected. Animals are family to me so I treat them with respect and try to have as much fun as possible! Cleanliness is also important to me especially in another persons home so I always leave it tidier than when I arrived.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs and cats outside and indoors. While outside, we can go for walks to the big Druid Hill park or any of the 3 little parks near my house and play fetch. While inside, I have plenty of space in the living room to play with toys and work on training with treats! I have also walked cats before if that’s something you prefer.

- Please let me know if your dog has been through any trauma and therefore needs special care. I’d never want them to feel terrified or an accident happen because I didn’t know about this. If your pet has any other special behaviors that I can prepare for as well as allergies and energy levels, that would help as well! I will also need to know if their gums and teeth are strong enough for certain toys and/or bones as well as whether or not you use a harness or leash for walking. Thanks!
