“Bito was wonderful! He handled our wild Bernadoodle in the ice and snow. He made quick friends with our puppy and was so accommodating to step in last minute. Great communicator and a pleasure to meet. 🐾 We will definitely use again.”

About: I have taken care of and had a dog my entire life. I have walked, house sat and cared for multiple friends dogs. There is nothing better than love from a dog. I work from home. I have a very flexible schedule, and am available to help with your pet! I will work with you and find times to walk your pet whenever you need me to. I am very respectful and caring when it comes to pets. I know that each one has their own personalities and I can't wait to meet yours!
About: Aside from my own four legged friend, I have been entrusted with the care of my friends and family’s pets with unwavering trust. I treat all pets as my own. I have experience in young puppy care as well as extra large gentle giants! I am patient and flexible, and eager to form a relationship with every animal. I’m currently working part time, and an active student athlete. My current availability is limited to the duration of my holiday breaks and occasional weekends. I pay close attention to the details and preferences of every dog owner, and give dogs my undivided attention and patience for the duration of my care.
“So glad we found Sam B!! She is extremely professional and responsive. She took the time to get to know our animals and she quickly understood their unique personalities and qualities. Sam took wonderful pictures, sent detailed notes, and was always on time. She even did a last minute walk when our plane was delayed. She is A++”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have handled everything from birds to puppies to cats needing medication twice a day. I come prepared for anything and eager to be besties with your pet! Winter is the off season from my regular work, so I’ve got plenty of time to play with your pets during the work week or whenever you need. I am not able to host pets at this time, but am an experienced house sitter and a quick learner who can seamlessly jump into your pet’s regular routine.
About: I’ve had the joy of taking care of many different dogs throughout my life. Growing up I owned my own dog, and over the years I’ve helped neighbors and friends with walking, feeding, and looking after their pets. I love spending time, playing with dogs, and making sure they feel safe and loved! I currently am a full-time student at Notre Dame of Maryland University, so I have classes in the morning and afternoon and am usually open on weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule the best I can! When caring for a dog in a client’s home I always aim to respect and follow their rules and routines as closely as possible to keep their pets comfortable. I’ll make sure they have their food and water, have potty breaks, and some love and attention! I will also make sure the space is clean and will respect the home as if it were my own.
“It is wonderful to have someone like Courtenay to care for our pup. Makes all the difference in the world when you are away to know you have someone you trust taking care of your furry family member(s).”

“Loved having johnita walk our pup! Our large dog has several specific needs/instructions. Johnita was very communicative and did a great job taking care of Lillie. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Dan was wonderful with our boys. He was always on time and ran them per our request which was not easy! He also sends great photos when we have him stop in to take care of them when we’re away. I’d definitely recommend.”

About: I have had a wide variety of pets for as long as I can remember, mainly dogs and cats. But, i've also had turtles, fish, birds, rodents, reptile, and even pigs! I love animals and have done petsitting and walking services many times throughout my life. I've also had several senior dogs and raised and trained many puppies, as we to breed our huskies. I currently have three dogs, a Queensland heeler, King Cavalier/Beagle Mix, and Labradoodle, who live with my family in California. I love mutts! Bring me your mutts!!! I work and attend school from home, so I am available 24/7 and love the company. I live with my partner who attends school at JHU, and am often alone during the days, so i crave and would dote upon the opportunity to care for pets. We leave town rarely, so I'm also usually available for overnight stays! I have a fence around my front yard and plenty of safe green areas to walk pets. Bathroom breaks happen every 1-2 hours, and feeding will be as specified by owners. I've had experience administering medications, oral, topical, and injected, and will bathe pets if it's asked for. I pride myself on treating your pet like my family while they are in my care, and also on respecting the homes and boundaries of those whose homes i visit.
“Corinne was great! She met us for a meet and greet before the walk, and she responded quickly to our questions. She was great with Sadie--a large dog who can be very energetic--and she was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to everyone on Rover.”

About: I’ve had pets all of my life (18 years) and I’ve learned that I love animals and taking care of them just comes easy to me. I would love to watch and take care of dogs. I will treat your pet like it’s one of my own. I’m currently working 2 part time jobs which include a doggy day care and a movie theater. Both of these jobs vary on the days I work. The schedule for both come out a week before and or 2 weeks before. As for the movie theater I usually work from 5-11 a couple times a week so I will be available anytime before or after that. As for the doggy day care I either work 6:30-2, 2-7:30, and or 8-2. Just depends on the day and week. I will keep an updated schedule!! I handle pets with care and respect. I never want to hurt an animal. I will do whatever the pet owner needs me to do with no problem.
“If you need a dog walker, look no further than Marina! I have been using her weekly for almost 4 years! She is kind, attentive, sweet, and both of my boys love her. My one Aussie gets so excited when the Rover app makes a pop sound when she arrives. All I have to do is say “Marina is here”, and he runs to the door with excitement! If there is one thing I am grateful for this Thanksgiving it’s Marina! Thank you!!!! 💐💐💐”

Greater Mount Washington dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rashi did a wonderful job with our large Bernadoodle puppy who is strong and can be somewhat willful on the leash. On top of that, we had freezing temps, snow/ice that blocked our neighborhood sidewalks. Rashi truly went above and beyond and gave out pup and generous walk each morning, was super communicative, prompt and professional. We had a great experience

They were incredible! Our dog was so happy and we knew he felt the love. We had to modify our booking more than once and they were super flexible. We trust them and look forward to having them again. We plan for them to be our “go to” every time we are in need. We feel very lucky!

Our experience with Erika was extraordinary. She is caring, compassionate, and Egan gets excited each time she comes. Thank you for supporting our family in these challenging times and we will definitely be contacting you for our future needs and refer you to our friend group 🐶❤️
We are so glad we found Emily! She has been a consistent dog walker for our pup when we’re both working in the office. Our dog is a bit anxious, but she warmed up to Emily quickly and now loves when she sees her for her walks! Emily is responsive, punctual, friendly, and even sends us photos from her time with our pup. Highly, highly recommend Emily!!
