For 25 years, I've had the honor & joy of pet sitting for family, friends, & neighbors in the Bethesda area. For 30 years, I've had the pleasure of being a pet owner; I can't imagine life without a pet. I take pet care very seriously with the understanding that, like humans, they're individuals with their own stories & personalities. I'm intuitive, discerning, & adaptable. I'm experienced with dogs/cats, all ages, all sizes, in varying stages of health including: - exercising/engaging high-energy pets, pets who love the outdoors - handling large breeds/very strong dogs - indoor & indoor/outdoor cats - long-term health maintenance, daily medications, dietary restrictions - injured/sick pets, medications, physical restrictions, observation - senior pet caregiving - pets with anxieties like separation anxiety, leash aggression, social anxiety - kitten/puppy training, training maintenance, exercise, play I'm an animal lover & advocate. I'll follow instructions. I'll look after your pet with compassion & a lot of experience at my back. I can also feed the fish! Anna is a top notch pup sitter. I’m a crazy dog dad and Anna exceeded all expectations. Our dog has some separation anxiety and Anna more than accommodated his needs and made us feel very comfortable while we were gone for a couple days. She regularly provided updates which included pictures and videos. We will not hesitate to use Anna as our go-to dog sitter!
We are beyond excited to leave a positive review for Anna! She went above and beyond to care for our dog, Whiskie, while we were away this last week. She was also super respectful of our house and made our transition home welcoming. Anna was communicative, invested, enthusiastic, and committed to providing safe, attentive, quality care to Whiskey. Anna was incredible once again. We always feel so at ease when we leave our baby Meatball with her. She is amazing at sending constant updates so we know that he is okay and doing well. She always goes above and beyond to love and care for him, we know he is super happy when he’s with her and that makes us happy. Thanks again Anna, you are the best!! 💫
Anna was incredible! She had great communication, she was on time, responsible, and sincerely interested in our pup, Whiskey. We will definitely be using her to care for Whiskey again!
Anna was a great communicator. We loved receiving the update texts and photos of our dog while we were away. Our pet has some health issues and Anna took everything in stride, we know our pet was well cared for! The house was as we'd left it and we would definitely rebook with Anna in the future.
If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, Anna is it. She went above and beyond in every way. Scout and Ellie absolutely adored her — and honestly, so did we! They truly enjoyed their walks and playtime with her, and it was clear how comfortable and happy they were. They really got along so well, which meant everything to us. She was attentive, communicative, kind, and incredibly reliable. We were able to fully relax on our trip because we knew Scout and Ellie were in the best hands. We would recommend her without hesitation and can’t wait to book her again!

***I’d be grateful if potential & current clients work quickly with me to process a booking once you send me a request, including meet and greets, to accurately display my service availability to other pet parents.*** - As part of scheduling, I require a meet & greet for all new dog clients, no exceptions; preferred but not required for new cat clients. I'm currently located in the Bethesda area, where I grew up, and am familiar with Montogomery County and the DMV. - I'm available for 3 dog walks per day, 3 drop-in visits per day, and in-house stays. Please refer to my service profile for specific time frames. I schedule my services on first come, first serve basis and prioritize any prior/current bookings. - I'm available for and seeking repeat clients for walks, drop-ins, and in-house stays for the summer season (Rover has a repeat booking function). - Please check my calendar for my service availability, which I try to update as I receive bookings. If my calendar shows I'm currently in-house with a client, depending on the client's schedule, I may be available for 1-2 walks or drop-ins per day or none at all. - I have a (pet-friendly) car for pick-ups, drop-ins or in-house stays. -I love the outdoors, even in the hot/humid summers. If you have a pup that likes dog parks or prefers a solo hike, I'm happy get in the car & explore. I also love just hanging out. If you have a pet that just wants/needs someone around, I'm there. I'm comfortable looking after both indoor & outdoor cats.
