I have also trained the dogs that I have had. I work full-time, but my schedule rotates every three weeks — so I always have afternoons free after four, plus two full days off each week. That means I’m available for midday walks, evening visits, and weekend coverage without any gaps. My dogs get a set daily rhythm in the morning and evening walks, scheduled meals, and plenty of rest so I know firsthand what a consistent routine looks like from the inside. Also I follow the owner’s routine exactly feeding times, meds, play, potty breaks and send photo updates after each visit so they always know how their pet’s doing.
