“Sun has been great to work with, and I hope to continue to work with them this year. Fitz responds really well to them, and I can tell they care about taking care of my dog. Thank you so much for all that you do!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I grew up with a large dog who was deeply loved and considered part of the family. Caring for him taught me how to recognize an animal’s needs, understand body language, and approach pets with patience, respect, and compassion through all stages of their lives. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats belonging to friends and family through regular check-ins, weekend visits, week-long house-sitting stays, and week-long dog-sitting stays in my own home. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and may need time to feel comfortable with someone new or in a new environment. I am patient during that adjustment period and always do my best to maintain their normal routine and help them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in ecology and marine biology. I also recently completed an internship with Zoo Miami in animal care, training, and husbandry. This experience strengthened my ability to observe animal behavior, respond appropriately to their needs, and communicate with animals using clear, consistent, and positive methods. I am new to the city and currently have full availability including last minute scheduling, and I am excited to build trusted relationships with local pet owners and their animals. Animal welfare is extremely important to me, and I would treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I would want for my own. I recently moved to the city and currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day, seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This flexibility allows me to accommodate check-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute requests whenever possible. I care for every pet according to their usual routine, personality, and individual needs. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner, and I take time to help each pet feel safe and comfortable with me. In a client’s home, I am respectful of both the pet’s space and the home itself. I make sure doors, windows, gates, leashes, and carriers are secure, keep food and potentially harmful items out of reach, and leave the home clean and orderly. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. I supervise pets closely, give them plenty of attention, and help them adjust patiently to the new surroundings. I understand that some animals need more time and space than others, so I always pay attention to their body language and comfort level.

“Ivan came over for a meet and greet with my dog, who liked him immediately. He picked up the dog at the scheduled time and took him on an hour walk. When I got home the dog was back in his crate and very content. Thank you Ivan!”

“Bob and his son Bobby were the best! Completely reliable and capable. My dog, that I have trouble managing, was easily handled them. I am very impressed with the quality of this service and they are first on my list for the next time.”

“Wonderful dog walker and pet sitter and a true animal lover! She walked my high-energy beagle/hound twice a week for about six months and even took her running, which she loves! She sends pictures every time, which I really appreciate. And she would give my cat some snuggles and attention, too. I called on her last month to pet sit in my home for several days while I was traveling, and she was awesome. I felt great knowing the pets were getting a lot of attention while I was away, and again, the pictures! Sad to see her leave our area-- she is fantastic!”

About: Throughout my life, I have cared for goats, cats (old and young), dogs (big and small), chickens, rabbits, and different kinds of rodents. I love all animals and treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I am experienced in administering oral medications, working with difficult walkers, and caring for anxious animals. I have one cat and one dog right now! I currently work remotely, so I am able to design my schedule around your pets' needs. I believe that pets thrive with a consistent schedule and will do my best to stick to your pets' schedule. All pets have social needs and activity needs. As a dog sitter, I will not just take your dog out for potty walks, but we will also go for sniff adventures, play fetch, and more. As a cat sitter, I provide as much attention as your cat is interested in. We can sit on the couch and cuddle or admire each other from a distance.
About: I grew up in a home where we always had at least one dog, and I've been caring for dogs my entire life. As an adult, I cared for an elderly dog through his senior years, including managing his medical needs and ensuring his comfort during his final chapter. This taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to recognize subtle signs that a dog needs extra care or gentler handling. I've also regularly cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs over the years. I understand that every dog has their own personality—some are energetic and playful, others prefer calm, steady walks. I take time to learn what makes each dog comfortable and happy. For me, spending time with dogs isn't just a job—it's something I genuinely miss and enjoy. I'm reliable, observant, and will treat your dog with the same care and respect I gave my own. I work from home full-time during weekdays but have a flexible schedule that allows me to take on dog walking during mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm looking for regular clients who need consistent care, whether that's daily walks, weekend visits, or occasional drop-ins. I live in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore and am happy to work with clients in my neighborhood. Walking is something I already enjoy and build into my day, so adding dog walks feels natural rather than squeezed in. I'm reliable about communication and will always let you know if my availability changes. For dog walking, I always ensure dogs are securely leashed before leaving the home and stay alert to their body language and the environment around us. I'm comfortable navigating busy sidewalks, parks, and quieter residential areas depending on what the dog prefers. I follow any specific instructions owners provide about routes, other dogs, or behavioral needs. If watching pets in their home, I'm respectful of the space, follow feeding and medication schedules carefully, and keep owners updated. I understand the responsibility of having someone's keys and entering their home, and I take that trust seriously.
About: I grew up always having at least one dog in the house. I have previously worked for a dog rescue, both as a volunteer dog walker and an employee (marketing, but we always had dogs around and I learned so much about their care!). I personally have had an amazing pit bull named Luna for 9 years - she is leash reactive so I also have experience dealing with hard-to-walk pups! I am a freelancer who works remotely and sets my own hours. I can work around your schedule and your pet’s needs to provide them care. I know that every dog is different and some need more specific care. I am here to follow your instructions and provide your pet care as if they were my own!
“Bito was wonderful! He handled our wild Bernadoodle in the ice and snow. He made quick friends with our puppy and was so accommodating to step in last minute. Great communicator and a pleasure to meet. 🐾 We will definitely use again.”

“Margaret was very sweet with my dog Lily. Lily was nervous at first, as she often is with new people, but she came back from the walk relaxed and happy.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. My family friends and neighbors have been coming to me to walk their dogs and take care of their pets for many years and continue to do so I have a very open schedule and cater to the owners schedules and if any changes occur I can accommodate accordingly and ensure continued service I will always enquire from the owners about any health issues with their pets and how to take care of them properly. I will also ensure pictures and videos of the owners dogs at the owner’s request
“Corinne was great! She met us for a meet and greet before the walk, and she responded quickly to our questions. She was great with Sadie--a large dog who can be very energetic--and she was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to everyone on Rover.”

About: Hi, I’m Olivia! With a background in behavioral work and trauma-informed care, I bring a uniquely calming, intuitive presence to the animals I support. I’ve spent years caring for pets in my personal life and community—everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors—always with patience, respect, and a deep understanding of their emotional world. As a Registered Behavior Technician and Somatic Trauma-Informed Practitioner for both people and animals, I’m attuned to body language, stress signals, and what helps animals feel safe. I specialize in: -Structure, positive reinforcement, routine-building -Senior support (slow walks, mobility assistance, medication reminders, extra gentleness) -Anxious or shy pets who benefit from a calm, regulated, grounded human -Consistent routines that help pets feel secure when their humans are away My care style is warm, grounded, and attentive. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, needs, and comfort level. Your pet will get affection, enrichment, mindful walks, and a nurturing presence, not just supervision. I’d love to care for your furry family member as if they were my own. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to accommodate drop-ins, feeding schedules, and quality time with your pets. I’m available on weekends as well, and I genuinely enjoy building my days around caring for animals. Whether it’s morning check-ins, afternoon playtime, or evening wind-down visits, I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your cat’s needs and keep their routine consistent and comforting. When caring for pets, my top priority is creating a safe, comfortable, and predictable environment where they feel secure and loved. Whether in their home or mine, I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and preferences so that care is tailored to their individual needs. My home is a two-level row home with a park nearby and lots of greenery, where they are free to roam. I ensure food and water are fresh, spaces are clean, and doors or gates are secure at all times. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior—energy levels, eating habits, or signs of stress—and will communicate promptly with the owner if anything seems off. Above all, I treat every pet like a beloved family member, and I keep owners updated with notes and photos so they feel confident and at ease while away.
About: I have grown up with pets in my home since I was atleast 6 years old. My career is people-centered, but I've always wanted to work with animals. My love for them is so endless! I have taken care of dogs including dachshunds, cats, fish, turtles, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and once had a pet donkey. I grew up with friends who had farms so I have done feeding and cleaning for goats, cows, sheep, and chickens. I work full-time during the week; however, potential drop-ins after 5:30 pm could work for me. Depending on my schedule, I may have flexibility and this can be discussed. Weekends are more likely the best time for me to care for your fur/scale/feather baby needs. For drop-in services I will ensure your fur/scale/feather baby and residence are well cared for. This includes making sure your fur baby is fed, has water, and toileting needs are accounted for. Additionally, I will play with your fur/scale/feather baby and ensure all of your provided instructions are serviced in my time or times there.
About: I’ve had pets all of my life (18 years) and I’ve learned that I love animals and taking care of them just comes easy to me. I would love to watch and take care of dogs. I will treat your pet like it’s one of my own. I’m currently in the process of finding a new job so I will be free everyday of the week until then! If I could make dog walking/sitting my main job, I would love to do that! I handle pets with care and respect. I never want to hurt an animal. I will do whatever the pet owner needs me to do with no problem.
“Holly loves our dogs, and isn’t at all afraid of walking them both simultaneously (100 lbs of dog!) our dogs took to her right away and always come back happier than they left. Will absolutely be reaching out to her again for more walks. Thanks Holly!”

“My pit bull mix Annie has some issues with anxiety and reactivity, but Lindsay does a great job keeping her calm and feeling safe! I know she is taken good care of while I'm at work!”

Emma is the BEST!! She takes great care of my dog Levi and I feel at ease knowing that she is the one visiting him. She always spends extra time giving him pets and treats, and she also sends wonderful report cards for me to view. So grateful for Emma! Cannot recommend her enough.

Ivan was a hero to me and my little guy-swooping in for a last minute walk when I was going to be away for an extended period. He was very communicative, Amos was well taken care of, and apparently Ivan is a popular guy on our block-also regularly caring for another pup up the street. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Jahborne was great with my sweet prince. Communication was excellent, I couldn’t have trusted anyone more with caring for him. He asked questions and answered my text almost immediately if I needed anything and I will definitely be booking again! Thanks a lot !!!!
