Hi! I’m Emma and I’m here because I love making animals happy. I grew up in the house where all the neighborhood dogs come to play, or to stay while their families are out of town. This led to me pursuing pet-sitting and animal care in my teens and at one point, providing full-time walking services for a highly-rated Baltimore agency. I have extensive experience with animals with behavioral quirks and anxiety. I take an empathetic approach with all animals; I aim to understand them as an individual being with specialized needs, histories, and perspectives. I have a 7-year-old Goldendoodle of my own, Tommy, as well as three amazing cats, Max, Toots, and Ham (scroll down on my profile for photos!) Courteous, clean, cautious, and communicative, I will tend to your pet’s individual needs and routine, and then some. I aim to keep you and your pets happy and calm, and keep your home tidy in the process. I’m the dog walker / pet sitter who will bring in your packages, sweep around the litter boxes, and send you a zillion pictures — it’s what I would want for my home and my babies.

Emma is the best! We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter for our little guy. Emma put in so much thought and care into taking care of him and making sure all was well while we were on an extended vacation. We really looked forward to her updates and cute photos every day, and we were able to fully enjoy our time away knowing he was in amazing hands.
Emma is the BEST!! She takes great care of my dog Levi and I feel at ease knowing that she is the one visiting him. She always spends extra time giving him pets and treats, and she also sends wonderful report cards for me to view. So grateful for Emma! Cannot recommend her enough.

Schedule
After working (read: burning out) in retail management for years, I made a career change in 2022 when I returned to pet care in an independent, full-time capacity — and I’ve never been happier. My best availability is weekdays from 9-5, but I will always consider (and hopefully accept!) requests for other days and times. Please reach out!

- Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has food-protective/resource-guarding, dog-reactive, or similar behaviors, so I can plan the best possible approach and routine with your pet! Meet and greets are encouraged but not always necessary depending on your pet’s demeanor.
