After working (read: burning out) in retail management for years, I made a career change in 2022 when I returned to pet care in an independent, full-time capacity — and I’ve never been happier. My best availability is weekdays from 9-5, but I will always consider (and hopefully accept!) requests for other days and times. Please reach out!

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has food-protective/resource-guarding, dog-reactive, or similar behaviors, so I can plan the best possible approach and routine with your pet! Meet and greets are encouraged but not always necessary depending on your pet’s demeanor.
A typical day
I have lived throughout Baltimore City, which means I have many local hiking and walking destinations in my repertoire in order to give your dog the most fulfilling walk experience. I can keep an upbeat pace where applicable, which is very beneficial for my more energetic and/or anxious clients. On the other hand, if your pup prefers a slower pace with more sniffing, we can enjoy a leisurely stroll with lots of enrichment. I look forward to keeping your dog engaged in a way that best fits their needs!

Hi! I’m Emma and I’m here because I love making animals happy. I grew up in the house where all the neighborhood dogs come to play, or to stay while their families are out of town. This led to me pursuing pet-sitting and animal care in my teens and at one point, providing full-time walking services for a highly-rated Baltimore agency. I have extensive experience with animals with behavioral quirks and anxiety. I take an empathetic approach with all animals; I aim to understand them as an individual being with specialized needs, histories, and perspectives. I have a 7-year-old Goldendoodle of my own, Tommy, as well as three amazing cats, Max, Toots, and Ham (scroll down on my profile for photos!) I understand how much it takes to trust someone with your pets, and I’m very grateful you’re considering me! Thanks for checking out my profile.
