About: My name is Bob, and I have been a dog owner for over 8 years, currently owning two energetic pups, Ellie and Watson! My wife works from home, so someone is almost always home, unless we all go ot in the evening! Our kids are 12 and over, and we all love spending time not only with our dogs(and cats!), but meeting new ones as well. Our rescue dogs, Ellie(18 month old female Australian Shepherd/Catahoula) and Watson(1 year old male Schnauzer/Terrier) enjoy spending time playing in the yard together when weather is nice, or horsing around together inside. They love socializing and playing at the dog park too, so having a 'play date' would be good fun for them! We have free access to water at all times, toys to play with, and healthy treats, if allowed by visiting pets' owners. Feedings for our dogs happen twice a day at 8 am and 5 pm; arrangements could be made regarding your pet's feeding needs, depending on time of day, and length of stay. Walks, playing, and lots of attention guaranteed! We can be flexible to meet your needs; please ask.
“It is wonderful to have someone like Courtenay to care for our pup. Makes all the difference in the world when you are away to know you have someone you trust taking care of your furry family member(s).”

“Corinne was great! She met us for a meet and greet before the walk, and she responded quickly to our questions. She was great with Sadie--a large dog who can be very energetic--and she was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to everyone on Rover.”

About: I’ve had pets all of my life (18 years) and I’ve learned that I love animals and taking care of them just comes easy to me. I would love to watch and take care of dogs. I will treat your pet like it’s one of my own. I’m currently in the process of finding a new job so I will be free everyday of the week until then! If I could make dog walking/sitting my main job, I would love to do that! I handle pets with care and respect. I never want to hurt an animal. I will do whatever the pet owner needs me to do with no problem.

“Elizabeth is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and my dog loved her. My dog is somewhat skiddish due to her past, and it's a comfort to know that Elizabeth knows exactly how to behave around and interact with her without scaring her. I know that having Elizabeth come walk my pup midday significantly increases her quality of life. She felt comfortable around Elizabeth right away, and I'm so glad she's available to give my pup some love and enrichment while I'm at work.”

“Alex did a great job walking my senior pup the past two weeks! He's very responsive on the app and was even willing to be flexible on the timing when something came up last minute. I recommend him for anyone looking for a dependable walker. Thanks Alex!”

“Ivan came over for a meet and greet with my dog, who liked him immediately. He picked up the dog at the scheduled time and took him on an hour walk. When I got home the dog was back in his crate and very content. Thank you Ivan!”

About: I grew up in a home where we always had at least one dog, and I've been caring for dogs my entire life. As an adult, I cared for an elderly dog through his senior years, including managing his medical needs and ensuring his comfort during his final chapter. This taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to recognize subtle signs that a dog needs extra care or gentler handling. I've also regularly cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs over the years. I understand that every dog has their own personality—some are energetic and playful, others prefer calm, steady walks. I take time to learn what makes each dog comfortable and happy. For me, spending time with dogs isn't just a job—it's something I genuinely miss and enjoy. I'm reliable, observant, and will treat your dog with the same care and respect I gave my own. I work from home full-time during weekdays but have a flexible schedule that allows me to take on dog walking during mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm looking for regular clients who need consistent care, whether that's daily walks, weekend visits, or occasional drop-ins. I live in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore and am happy to work with clients in my neighborhood. Walking is something I already enjoy and build into my day, so adding dog walks feels natural rather than squeezed in. I'm reliable about communication and will always let you know if my availability changes. For dog walking, I always ensure dogs are securely leashed before leaving the home and stay alert to their body language and the environment around us. I'm comfortable navigating busy sidewalks, parks, and quieter residential areas depending on what the dog prefers. I follow any specific instructions owners provide about routes, other dogs, or behavioral needs. If watching pets in their home, I'm respectful of the space, follow feeding and medication schedules carefully, and keep owners updated. I understand the responsibility of having someone's keys and entering their home, and I take that trust seriously.
“Sierra is amazing. She truly connected with our two dogs (both husky mixes), and they couldn't wait for her to arrive so they could on their walks with her. She has a great personality and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a true professional.”

“Wonderful dog walker and pet sitter and a true animal lover! She walked my high-energy beagle/hound twice a week for about six months and even took her running, which she loves! She sends pictures every time, which I really appreciate. And she would give my cat some snuggles and attention, too. I called on her last month to pet sit in my home for several days while I was traveling, and she was awesome. I felt great knowing the pets were getting a lot of attention while I was away, and again, the pictures! Sad to see her leave our area-- she is fantastic!”

“Margaret was very sweet with my dog Lily. Lily was nervous at first, as she often is with new people, but she came back from the walk relaxed and happy.”

About: I have 3 dogs and a bird myself, so I understand the responsibility of pets. Family friends have always relied on me to watch their pets while on vacations and trips. I am currently a college student at Loyola University Maryland. My schedule is pretty flexible outside of my classes and my weekends are usually available. I communicate with owners so the pets are cared for exactly how they need to be. I also treat everyone’s pet as my own, so I can ensure that they will receive love and care.
“Irene is simply fantastic. She is prompt, asks a lot of questions to ensure she is prepared, and quick to respond. She has been kind when our schedule has changed and my dog loves her. Cant recommend enough!”

About: Hello!! My name is Sabrina and I’m currently a 2nd year graduate student at Hopkins. I’ve always been a HUGE animal lover and begged my family to adopt a pet my entire life. Now, I’ve had my family dog for 7.5 years (she’s 8.5 years now), and I am responsible taking her out every morning to do her daily poops, feed her, and play with her when I go back home in California. My friend would sometimes leave her pet at my place when she goes on vacation so I’m comfortable taking care of multiple animals at a time. Many of my friends also own cats and I always enjoy going to their places and playing with the softest animals to ever exist. I’m currently at JHU doing research about effects of microplastics on embryonic development. Since it’s mostly just research, my day is usually flexible and varies. I’m usually free on the weekends other than some Saturday mornings because I’ll be volunteering at community gardens 🐛. I can walk, feed, and play with the pets at home (and will most definitely be sending a lot of photos). I will make sure to let them have fun but also follow all the instructions given as their safety is the number one priority.
About: I have had a countless number of pets since I was a baby, so I know how to care for animals! I had a pig too! I walk my dog at least 4 times a day,and make sure he is given at least 30 min walks to maximise physical as well as mental stimulation! if I were to petsit for you, I would ensure your dog received adequate walks throughout the day, feeding, and also playtime with me and my dog ( if ok with you :)) I

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life! Since I was a kid, we’ve always had dogs in the house, and as I grew older, I became the primary care taker of my dogs back home in Texas. I’m good at following complex regimens, from training details, feeding schedules, and medication administration! I’m am very flexible and comfortable around all dogs. I especially love larger pups. I have just graduated undergrad, so my availability has definitely freed up recently! I am available early mornings during the weekdays and most afternoons for both weekdays and weekends. To me, caring for pets also means giving them all the necessary attention! I love interacting with them at home with gentle play. Outside, I love to take my dogs to a park and let them run around and get their exercise. My dogs love to fetch, so I can’t forget to take a ball with me on our walks! I am always watching for the time, making sure that they are eating and pottying on schedule! My ultimate goal is to ensure that a pet is completely comfortable and safe, whether that means running around with them or taking a very calm walk!!
About: I have been taking care of animals for many years! As a teenager, I was our neighborhood's go-to pet sitter and dog walker. I have taken care of dogs big and small, as well as cats, birds, rodents, and other small animals. As an adult, I have adopted and trained my two miniature dachshunds, Ruby and Otto. I work as a psychologist but continue to have a passion for animals! I am a home body who is available most weekends and works from home two days per week. I am a morning person who loves to go for a long walk to start your pets day off right! I have a cozy apartment with two well-trained dachshunds. I live near a trail where your dog can get plenty of exercise. I have a fenced in dog-park as well to let your pup run and play!
About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for pets, be it my own or others, most of my life and it is one of those things in my life that fulfills me. I am a graduate student at JHU and this is my side hustle lol! I’m currently working part time and starting school in the fall, so i have those time commitments to work around, but i always have time for your animals:) Making sure that the animals I care for are fed and have water is important to me. Making sure that the animals I care for are given time to walk and play and feel loved is what I love about taking care of them.

Maggie is terrific!! See you clearly loves dogs and was fantastic with mine. She was reliable, flexible and went above and beyond. I was actually home because I have an injury and cannot walk my dogs right now and she was kind enough to even go get me something from the store. I would definitely call upon Maggie again.

Alex was so warm, calm, and easygoing that he immediately made us feel comfortable, especially since this was our first time hiring a pet sitter. He took the time to get to know our husky, listened carefully to all of our instructions, and made sure our pup was well cared for, walked, and able to go potty. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. Thank you, Alex, for making our first Rover experience such a positive and wonderful one!

Carys was great with Harley! She always gave her long walks, was super kind, responsible, and easy to talk to. Communication was always great and I always felt comfortable knowing Harley was in good hands. You can tell she really cares about the dogs she works with. I would definitely recommend her!

Very happy with the service provided. The request was semi last minute as I'm dealing with family issues, but we were able to work something out. She met up with the dogs and I prior to the walk to discuss their specific needs and to meet them. During the walk(s) she was very communicative, thorough and attentive to the point where I felt like I was walking my own dogs lol. Bottom line, this isn't a 1 and done, I will be requesting her services again, I suggest you do the same.

Aidan took wonderful care of our foster, Tango, who had just recently gotten neutered. I was nervous about leaving him, but after a meet and greet with Aidan, I knew he was in great hands. They were very respectful of the notes I left and were attuned to Tango's needs in his vulnerable state. Their calm and grounding energy was just what Tango needed during his recovery. I would highly recommend Aidan to anyone who is looking for a thoughtful, kind, and reliable person to care for their pets.

Jackie has been great with our dog June! Our regular dog walker moved away last minute and we were scrambling to find someone to help us out. Jackie has been a godsend! She is reliable, proactive, responsive, and takes our dog for long walks! We would absolutely recommend her services to anyone looking for a dog walker :)
