About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I grew up with a large dog who was deeply loved and considered part of the family. Caring for him taught me how to recognize an animal’s needs, understand body language, and approach pets with patience, respect, and compassion through all stages of their lives. Since then, I have cared for dogs and cats belonging to friends and family through regular check-ins, weekend visits, week-long house-sitting stays, and week-long dog-sitting stays in my own home. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and may need time to feel comfortable with someone new or in a new environment. I am patient during that adjustment period and always do my best to maintain their normal routine and help them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in ecology and marine biology. I also recently completed an internship with Zoo Miami in animal care, training, and husbandry. This experience strengthened my ability to observe animal behavior, respond appropriately to their needs, and communicate with animals using clear, consistent, and positive methods. I am new to the city and currently have full availability including last minute scheduling, and I am excited to build trusted relationships with local pet owners and their animals. Animal welfare is extremely important to me, and I would treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I would want for my own. I recently moved to the city and currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day, seven days a week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This flexibility allows me to accommodate check-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute requests whenever possible. I care for every pet according to their usual routine, personality, and individual needs. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner, and I take time to help each pet feel safe and comfortable with me. In a client’s home, I am respectful of both the pet’s space and the home itself. I make sure doors, windows, gates, leashes, and carriers are secure, keep food and potentially harmful items out of reach, and leave the home clean and orderly. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. I supervise pets closely, give them plenty of attention, and help them adjust patiently to the new surroundings. About: My love for animals started at home at age 10, where I cared for cats, dogs, turtles, bunnies, and hamsters. In 2020, I started pet sitting for friends and coworkers and loved every minute of it! I have a deep respect for every animal and would love the opportunity to make special memories with your little one! I have experience with pets at all stages of life, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats who need a little extra care and patience. I work with small and medium-sized dogs, and my apartment has enough space to welcome up to medium dogs for boarding as well. Originally from Costa Rica, I am currently a second-year Master’s student at Johns Hopkins. I am a musician freelancer and during the summer I work from home so I can offer full-day boarding for small to medium-sized dogs, and I’m always available to take your pup out while you’re at work. Your dog will be monitored at all times to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I live in a one-bedroom apartment with my husband, who shares my love for animals! He is constantly traveling for work so I’ll be the main caregiver for your dog! My building is right across the street from a park where dogs can comfortably do their business, and Mount Vernon Square is just a 3-minute walk away. Mount Vernon is one of Baltimore’s safest and most beautiful neighborhoods perfect for peaceful walks! I always keep my space clean and will make sure your pet has all the room they need to feel comfortable. When pet sitting in the owner’s home, I follow all instructions carefully and make sure to leave the space just as I found it.

I work from home so I can watch your pet at my house, or I can stop by and sit them for a while, and I also have experience house sitting pets. I currently work from home and make my own hours, so I can work around your pet's schedule. I can take care of them at my house or watch them in their own home. I have a fenced in yard and multiple floors with pet gates on each level to keep your pets separated from own if it is needed.

About: I have experience with dogs/animals of all types! Being raised on a hobby farm, I grew up with a deep love for animals and have cared for dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, and small rodents. I currently have a senior husky with epilepsy and a hospice foster dog at home, so I am very comfortable working with seniors or animals who might have some extra needs. Recently, I worked for a private client in Baltimore city doing drop-in visits and overnight stays in my home 3-4 days a week, caring for a 100lb Labrador Retriever. About: Hi, please call me Jupiter :) Pets have been in my life since I was six, and in one way or another I've found myself responsible for the care of one since I was ten or so! Whether it be family, friends, or a stray - I adore animals! I pride myself in my approach to pets as I do with children: be firm, but respectful. Understand boundaries and do my best to read the situation with what information I'm given and what I can infer from there. Its always great to immediately bond with a furry friend, but all living beings deserve basic respect and compassion! I've met very few pets I didn't hit it off with, but even my great aunt's black cat, old and cranky as he is, let me feed him and exist nearby without claws (as is his M.O. with anyone who isn't his owner). Long story short, I adore all the fauna earth has to offer and make it my mission to successfully cohabitate at minimum, and a strong bond more often :) I now have a car again! I work 5p to 8p Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 12p-5p Sunday and 8a-8p Wednesday and Thursday! The day time hours are subject to change based on the gig but i'm always off Saturday and don't mind working you and your furry friend into my schedule! Overnights are fine though Id have to leave early on those 12 hour days - coming back after isn't an issue for longer stays! Drop ins are extra welcome at the moment :) While I cannot board, I take care to leave a home as I found it, if not better. I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.

I’m available for boarding most nights, weekends included! I work at a local doggy daycare and may be able to take your pup home for you! I have a fenced backyard with flowers growing for your pet to smell! They’d have plenty of friends within my 3 cats and my dog & I’m near multiple parks for fun walks. Working in your home, I love the for the pet to have access to as minimal amount of rooms as possible to reduce any hiding behaviors (especially with cats). All medications need to be placed in cabinets out of reach (even your melatonin - trust me, they do crazy things when missing you), and required supplies should be grouped together. I am a very active person so I am happy to walk your dog as many times as needed to make them happy! I am currently working as a server and at Breakthrough T1D in DC, but I am hybrid some days and willing to help out weekdays and weekends. I would work around your schedule Though it says “Away”, reach out to me! I work at Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and am also a server. My schedule is hybrid and I am flexible so I’m happy to discuss and work with you! I like to be with the dogs and cats as much as I can, but have the opportunity to occasionally go back to my own house to take a shower and grab some food.

About: I grew up surrounded by different pets but mainly dogs. As an adult I've been exposed to cats and I get to feed my neighbors cats now and then. Currently, I have two dogs, Flash and Mina, who I've been taking care of since they were puppies. My dogs are highly energetic, so I don't mind taking care of dogs with a lot of energy. Due to my schedule flexibility, I can help with potty training as well. I am currently self-employed and mostly work from home. I can adjust my schedule to mostly any pet routine. I can walk dogs many times per day as needed. For right now, I am not offering boarding as my two dogs prefer to have their own space. However, I am happy to take care of your pet in their environment and to keep their routine to make them feel as calm as possible while you are away.

About: I've always had a dog growing up and my parents made sure that me and my sisters were a part of training and raising a great dog. I've wanted my own pup forever and in 2019 when I was 100% ready to take on the responsibility, I got my best buddy, Atlas. We began our training at 16 weeks and are still going strong learning new skills and mastering old ones. My fiancé loves to say we "got such a great dog", but I know that Atlas and I worked our butts off to earn those compliments from strangers. In 2022 we adopted Dover into our little family giving Atlas a forever playmate. Dover is surprisingly 100% GSD which provided quite a learning curve as his training needs strongly differed from Atlas'. Working with Dover gave me a deeper understanding of dogs with separation anxiety and fear reactivity (barking) which has made me that much more prepared to work with any pup. I don't believe there are bad dogs, but every dog can have a bad day. As someone with a pup who is more reserved and particular about meeting new people, I understand the fear that comes with leaving your dog with someone new. It is my goal to love and understand your pup the same way you do so that you can feel comfortable being away. I'm embarrassingly obsessed with being the best dog owner, so I am constantly trying to learn how to best interact with dogs (and cats!) or fun new ways to engage my playful boys. I am the person friends call when they need help with their pets in any capacity-training, boarding, dog park visits, etc. My commitment to extraordinary pet care extends well past just my own boys. I can't wait to make your life as a pet parent just a little bit easier! Let's chat. 😊 I currently have a wide open schedule so I am available whenever your pet needs. I'm a morning person, so I don't mind the early morning walks. 🌞 As someone who understands that sometimes the need for short notice pet care is unavoidable, I am here to help step in when you need it most! Ever pet parent knows the best way to care for their pets, so I will always follow your guidance or suggestions. I love playing with pets and burning off that excess energy; I'm not one to just stop in and fill the water bowl-you can rest easy knowing snuggles always come after some exercise. I also love receiving updates or pictures of my boys when under someone else's care and I am happy to provide that to parents who prefer some pooch pics in the middle of the work day.
