“Taylor and Audrey are great! My pup is a little shy around new faces and he warmed up quickly and always gets great exercise while we are at work. 10/10 reliable walking!!”

“Sierra is very communicative. My dog is very active and knocked over a plant after coming back from a walk, and Sierra was very kind in cleaning it up before she left! I really appreciated her taking the time to do that.”

“This was a last minute request and first time using rover. Madison and Ryan were easy to communicate with. They sent pics and gave an update. I will definitely use them again.”

“10/10 Esther always leaves a thorough review which gives me peace of mind about my dog’s care. She even cleaned up after my dog when he got into my recycle and tore somethings up.”

“Liz has been wonderful! Lucy loves time with Liz. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and intentional rover. She’s great! Grateful to have found her on here!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with cats, dogs, and even a rabbit, and I became a dog parent myself 12 years ago. I recently lost my beloved dog, and while I’m not quite ready to bring another pet into my own home due to a travel-heavy work schedule, I truly love spending time around animals and caring for them. I’ve owned two large dogs and have extensive experience with senior pets and animals with health challenges. My last dog had medical issues for much of her life, so I’m very comfortable administering medications, following special care routines, and providing the extra patience and attention older animals often need. I understand how important trust, consistency, and gentle care are—especially for pets who need a little more support. I treat every animal as if they were my own and genuinely enjoy providing a calm, loving presence while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, allowing me to easily accommodate walks, feedings, medications, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m an early riser, so morning routines are always consistent and unhurried, and pets receive plenty of attention and care while I’m home most of the day. I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment. My home includes a fenced-in area for secure outdoor time, and pets are treated as part of the household. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make house visits, drop-ins, and accommodate your pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or medication, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Andrew has been really great with our two dogs. He is great with them, attentive, and patient. He is also responsive when it comes to messaging about booking or concerns about my dogs.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for a decade, helping out friends, family and anyone looking for a sitter who will treat their pups like their own! I absolutely adore dogs and caring for them, regardless of age or size. Long walks, hikes, and visits to the dog park are always on the schedule when I’m caring for your pets! I am happy to take care of dogs of any age, and I have lots of puppy house training experience so I am always on top of the training routine! I live in a home with a fenced in backyard, so pups are welcome to run around supervised any time! I am within walking distance of two fantastic parks, lots of grassy areas, and two amazing dog parks filled with friendly pups for your more social dogs. I also live within walking distance of an amazing veterinarian hospital. When your dog stays with me, they’ll have my full attention and care! I am highly communicative and I like to know as much as I can about a dog before they stay with me. I provide photos and updates often and like to keep you in the loop on activities throughout the day. Your pup is welcome in all areas of my home and allowed on any furniture (unless you say otherwise!). I have one small dog who is very friendly with others. I would love to provide your dogs with the best experience away from home! Please reach out with any questions! I currently work from home on Fridays and am fully available during Saturdays & Sundays — so your pet will never be alone! I take my own dog on 2 walks per day and take her outside 3-4 other times. I am happy to meet whatever fits your pets schedule! I like to understand your dogs daily routine and habits as best as I can and tailor my day around their preferences! Walks, potty breaks, and park visits are easy from my location - plus our fenced in backyard is great for dogs. Your pet will always be supervised in my home and will always have water freely available to them! I encourage dog owners to bring any toys, beds and an item that smells like home (like an owners t shirt!). Your pup will always have the attention they are looking for.
“We love Erin! She is very patient with Gemma since she is a little uneasy with people coming into the house but after a few treats Gemma felt comfortable with Erin. I knew my girl was in good hands. Thank you Erin!”

About: I have had experience caring for dogs and cats for over 15 years. I got my first yellow lab in 2004 and have had 3 labs since then. I cared for them mostly on my own even though they were "family" dogs. All of the caring, feeding, and bathroom breaks were my responsibility. I crate and leash trained them, taught them many commands, and trained 2 of them to be very good bird hunting dogs. Since moving out on my own I have adopted my own fur baby who is now 3 years old. I currently work from home as an engineer. Before and after work I take my 3 year old bernedoodle on walks, take her to the park every night for some socializing, and when I'm not working I'm always finding new ways to include my fur baby in every day activities! I have a very friendly and loving 3 year old bernedoodle. She is my top priority 24/7 as will be your fur baby if I am caring for them. I am knowledgeable about dog socialization and interaction as well as caring for any age and size dog. They will always be POSITIVELY reenforced and never physically reprimanded. Their safety and your reassurance about their safety is my number one priority.
About: With a background in healthcare, I’m extra attentive to your pets health and behavior. I quickly notice if something seems off and will always communicate updates with you I am currently working part time while in nursing school! My classes are online so I am home during the day! I also work part time at a hospital near by that allows me to have flexible hours I have a fenced in patio deck to allow your dog to run around or to play! I live in between Patterson park and the waterfront in a quiet neighborhood so there is plenty spaces for long walks that isn’t over stimulating

“James and Robyn came through for me last minute when Bella needed a late night walk. They gave me a great update once they returned from their walk and know how to ask the right questions to give your pup proper care. We will definitely be using their services again!”

“Taylor is fantastic. She is very personable, and she is gentle and loving with my dog Duke. I contacted her the morning of and she was able to come take care of my dog that same day with little notice. My dog has stomach issues sometimes, and she even helped with cleanup when he had an accident in the house, on top of feeding him and taking him for a nice walk in the park. Duke and I are very happy that we found Taylor 💙”

Highlandtown dog parents share their Rover experiences
I would absolutely recommend Jasmine, and if I were still in the area, would definitely still be booking with Jasmine! Jasmine was always quick to respond; was willing to meet my dog in-person beforehand, and was very knowledgeable. I have a very reactive dog (to other dogs), and Jasmine was comfortable walking her, and asked a lot of questions about her personality and needs, which was very helpful and reassuring. I know my dog will miss her time walking with Jasmine!

Serkalem was easy to work with, and I really appreciated the time she spent getting to know my dog before walking her. She asked thoughtful questions, did an in-person visit before the first walk, and seemed very knowledgeable. I have a reactive dog, so it can be hard to find people who are willing and able to walk her, and Serkalem was very understanding of this and willing to work with her.

Evelyn had been walking my dog since October, twice a week. She is great. Evelyn is really good with him! He can be apprehensive about strangers- she was patient and kind during their initial meetings. Evelyn communicates well and is reasonably flexible with our schedule - if something comes up. Highly recommend!
