About: I am currently a Service Coordinator for people with special needs, so I’m home 80-90% of the time. I was a special education assistant teacher at a high school for 5 years before I landed my new role in October ‘24. I have always had pets growing up, and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for my family, friends, and the people I support for work. I currently have a three and a half year old Pembroke Corgi that I’ve had since she was 8 weeks, so I’m very familiar with puppyhood and how time consuming and the patience it takes to parent a puppy! I’m very diligent, careful, and have a keen eye for “street snacks”, “spicy flies”, and dogs who are possibly reactive. When it comes to your pup, I will ensure they will ALWAYS be safe. I work from home about 90% of the time and am rarely gone for more than two hours, so your pets will have plenty of companionship. I provide enrichment, long walks, and most importantly endless cuddles and affection. I work from home on most days, unless I’m going out into the community. I can easily take dogs all hours of the day as long as my schedule permits me to do so. On the weekends I’m fully available. Your pup will be taken out before work, during the afternoon, after work, and one last potty break late in the evening. On the weekends, I like taking the pups on longer walks around the water near Fells or Patterson Park. Fur babies are allowed on the couch and the bed and everywhere my sassy Corgi girl is! All play toys are for all dogs and frequent bathroom breaks are taken throughout the day. I live close to Patterson Park and the Canton Promenade for daily outings. I will follow all medication, supplement, and food guidelines to a “T.” I understand how important it is to pet parents because my Corgi needs daily supplements each day and special food to keep her healthy.

About: I live with my partner in a typical Canton row house with our dog Mikkah. I grew up with dogs in the house, and have been caring for my own dog for the past year since her adoption. I know how great it is to have your dog cared for in someone's home rather than a kennel, so I wanted to be not just a Rover customer, but also a Rover caregiver. I have the flexibility to work at home, so your dog will have plenty of company. Your dog will join in with walks with Mikkah around the Canton neighborhood, which are typically 3 times a day. About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and they soon become part of the family, that is my number one priority when pet-sitting! I’m a recent Baltimore/Fells Point transplant and I now have the ability and space to pet-sit comfortably. I work mostly from home so I am capable of watching over your loved pets for longer periods of time as well. The majority of the week I work remotely from home and therefore am able to focus on daily and weekday pet care routines. I am also a dog owner to a 6 year old Golden Retriever and I make sure he receives proper walks and breaks in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings and would commit to that level of care an more for your loved pets. About: I've lived with animals my entire life — there's never been a stretch without a cat or a dog in the house. I've raised three puppies from their chaotic early weeks all the way to well-mannered adulthood, and I've spent just as many years around cats, from skittish rescues to laid-back lap cats who never leave your side. That mix of experience means I'm comfortable with the very different things dogs and cats need — walks, playtime, and training cues for one; a calm hand, a clean litter box, and patience for the other. Years of pet-sitting for other families has taught me to read what an individual animal needs rather than treat every visit the same way. Whether it's a dog who needs an energetic walker, a cat who just wants company and consistency, or a multi-pet household juggling both, I'll treat your home and your pets like my own. While my weekday work hours are long, my weekends are sacred — and my golden retriever gets the full benefit of that. We're out for long walks, playing at the park, or just hanging out together with nothing else competing for my attention. That's the same energy and focus your pet would get when I'm caring for them: undivided attention, plenty of activity, and someone who genuinely wants to be there rather than squeezing it in between other things. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my approach is the same: plenty of activity balanced with genuine downtime. I'm an active person who loves a good long walk, a game of fetch, or just running around outside — but I'm just as happy cozying up with a good book while a dog or cat curls up next to me. Lots of snuggles are guaranteed either way. I live in a very walkable part of Baltimore with lots of foot traffic, so there's no shortage of good routes and new sights and smells. My golden retriever and I are out most days walking along the wharf, and I'm glad to bring your pet along on those same walks or tailor the pace and distance to whatever they're used to. In your home, I'll stick as closely as possible to your pet's normal routine — feeding times, walk schedule, favorite spots — so the biggest change they notice is an extra set of hands to give them attention.
