I grew up in a household with a small menagerie of animals, and I’ve cared for everything from exotic pets like lizards and birds to more common companions like dogs and cats. My love for animals extends into my professional experience as well, where I’ve developed a strong background in animal husbandry. I understand the responsibility that comes with pet care, and I take that role very seriously. I treat every pet as a member of the family, providing attentive care, patience, and plenty of affection to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

I focus on providing a safe, calm, and consistent environment that keeps pets comfortable and as happy as possible while you’re away. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all care instructions to maintain your pet’s routine, from feeding and walks to medications and any specific preferences. I’m pay close attention to both pet and home safety. I ensure doors and gates are secure, keep the home space clean, and make sure to stay aware of any changes in pet behavior or health. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident that their pets are in good hands. When starting with a new pet, I take a patient, low pressure approach, especially with shy or sensitive animals. My goal is to allow them to adjust at their own pace to someone new while making sure they receive consistent, attentive care.

Luke walked Tommy and he was absolutely fantastic. His notes and pictures after every walk were something we genuinely looked forward to each day. He kept us updated the whole time and was wonderfully communicative throughout. Tommy loved him from the start. Genuinely excited every time he came by, and the two of them quickly became real friends. You could tell Tommy had such a great time on their walks together. We can’t wait to work with Luke again. Tommy truly has a friend in him!

I have known Luke Feeney for 30 years and without hesitation, I have witnessed his care of numerous pets (primarily dogs and cats). Without question, Luke is one of the kindest, most empathetic and competent animal caregivers I have had the pleasure to know. Luke is truly amazing with our dog Charlie. Charlie immediately bonded with Luke and he is now one of his favorite people. Our dog is not a natural cuddler, but with Luke he gets super cuddly. Luke has great understanding and intuition for dog care and is clearly passionate about working with animals. I 100% recommend him
Luke has taken our dog Addie on walks and stayed overnight with her on multiple occasions, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he provides. I completely trust Luke to take amazing care of her, including administering her daily seizure medication, which gives us incredible peace of mind. Addie can be very untrusting of people and other dogs, so she requires extra attention and control on walks. Luke is always attentive, patient, and professional in handling her specific needs. Despite her usual hesitation, Addie absolutely loves Luke and we come back to a happy, well-exercised dog. On top of everything, Luke is respectful of our home and consistently leaves it even cleaner than when we left. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented dog walker or pet sitter.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, and I currently have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to be available for walks, drop ins, and sitting throughout the day and week. I’m able to accommodate a wide range of needs, including morning, midday, and evening visits, as well as more consistent care for pets that benefit from a steady routine or extra attention. I prioritize reliability and clear communication, so you can count on your pet’s schedule being followed closely.
