“Shanikki was great! Watched Coal over the weekend, and I could tell from the start he'd have a good time and be safe under her care. Space was more than accommodating for my dog, and she showed him a lot of love and attention to help manage his separation anxiety. “I love how Veronica pays attention to detail. She wanted to make sure that she knew my little girl: from her behavior, her treats and overall routine down to the way she likes to be cared and have fun! I never worried a minute while I was out of town because she had everything under control. It was such a comfort knowing that my Sadie didn’t have to go stay somewhere else, but could stay in her own routine, in a wonderful clean and comfortable place and around other furry friends. I HIGHLY recommend Veronica and her pet sitting services to ALL my friends with furry people. Don’t even worry about stressing or planning for a trip to the kennel, just let Veronica take care of your little family at her/ your home AND, she will update you as often as you’d like regarding your pets and their behavior. I'm beyond pleased with her! Thank you for loving dogs as much as we do :)”

“Nautica was great! This was the first time boarding my puppy. Nautica scheduled a meet and greet before I left her. And, she was so accommodating - my schedule changed as my flight was delayed. I will book with her again.”

“Marissa is extremely caring and flexible and treats the dogs she watches like family! I consider her house to be a second home for my dog. Unlike a kennel I always know Marissa will be there to snuggle and play with the dogs and the dogs will get tons of time to play together.”

“Rich provided a clean, comfortable and happy environment for Libby. She got plenty of exercise, playtime and potty breaks. He was gentle with her and learned how to manage some of her quirky behaviors. I felt very comfortable leaving her in his care and am thankful to have found him through Rover!”

“Theo was simply amazing! He kept my two energetic babies for a full week and went above and beyond to communicate, give updates with pictures and make sure that they were well taken care of. About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.
“Shannon is very caring of the dogs she watches. She’s made me so comfortable leaving my dog. She’s been accommodating, and updating me everyday. Best part is that Shannon let Luna sleep by her. Highly recommend!! :)”

About: My family adopted a small dog in the beginning of my high school years and since then, I’ve been the one primarily taking her on walks and playing/training her. Many of my close friends own cats so I would always go over to their houses to play and take care of them.
“Amazingly helpful, I did not have to worry about my pet once while I was away! She even watered my thirsty plants, thank you again! Would rebook services for sure”

“Reniko was able to watch our sassy cat Piper on short notice! I enjoyed reading the visit summary and seeing photos everyday. Piper can be a bit aloof, but Reniko respected her space and kept her company nonetheless!”

“Sarah has been fantastic with our anxious dog. Leo doesn't normally go up to anyone, even if they offer treats. Sarah seems to have won our dog's trust. She even bakes homemade dog treats to gain Leo’s trust and slowly and with lots of patience she is accomplishing the visits with Leo. We are greatly appreciative of all her work. I highly recommend Sarah as a pet sitter. Thank you Sarah!.”

“Joshuah took great care of our cat with digestive issues, and became fast friends with our kinda standoffish girl within a day. Great communication, lots of pictures, we felt super at ease knowing she was in caring hands. 10/10 would rebook.”

“Anna came through for me when I was out of town and I could not be more thankful for her help with my cats! She is a great communicator, responded to my request for help pretty much immediately and then kept in great communication with me when she came in for a drop-in visit. I would recommend her for your furbaby's needs! Thanks again, Anna!”

“Ana did such a wonderful job with my dogs when they had to take medications, had an upset stomach or itching issues. She sent me photos and videos which really lifted my spirits. Ana is very attentive and asks about how you would like things done in your home. I have two small dogs and would recommend her. My two dogs have different personalities and she was great at helping them each at their own pace.”

About: Hi there! My name is Susannah! I am an animal lover with lots of experience walking both small and large dogs as well as caring for cats, dogs, plants and even the occasional iguana! I am excellent at communicating with dogs particularly, and will work with your dog if you have any training you are trying to solidify. For dog walking I can offer long and short distance (around the block, to several miles). I have been pet sitting for over a decade and have two dogs of my own (Cooper and Five-both hound mixes, so I’m used to lots of exercise!). I am looking forward to meeting your pup (or cat) soon! I have experience with dog reactivity as well, and am happy to work with “challenging” animals! I am a graduate student working part-time, and am very active. My schedule is flexible and can easily fit extra time for your pets! I am happy to work weekends and holidays. I have 13 years of experience working with a large array of animals, including reactivity and behavioral training! I have a fenced yard and kennels available if boarding is needed!

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I love taking them for walks or chilling with them at home. They are the most loving animals. I specialize in walking aggressive and teritorial dogs. My families Australian cattle dog is all about her routine, needs order to her life and does not socialize well with other dogs. On walks with me she is very calm and rarely barks at strangers because she knows I am in control and that we are both safe. I have experience taking care of multiple dogs with separate meal plans and separate walking schedules. I also have experience medicating pets. I am very flexible and have access to a dog friendly car. Your dog will be safe, loved and cared for with me.

“I love Tiara! She was amazing with Queso. She was flexible with my times and very communicative and gave updates throughout the day with Queso. I would definitely use her help again and suggest Tiara for services to others. Thank you so much!”

“Sausage had another wonderful time with Veronica, Caleb and their fur family. I recently found out that Harper, the matriarch of Veronica’s pick of Westies, has taken a special interest in Sausage and is very protective of him. Makes me feel so reassured to know that I’m addition to Veronica and Caleb’s watchful eyes, Sausage has Harper looking after him too. 4 paws way up!!!”

About: My dog and I work from home all day and we'd love your pup to come hang out with us! I did my PhD at Johns Hopkins and now work as a remote tech professional. I have a 5-year-old lab/shepherd mix. I have babysat and fostered dogs of all shapes and sizes, including dogs with special needs. I'm the girl who takes better care of her dog than myself. I'm talkin' three 45+ minute walks a day, human-grade dog food with special toppings, and only positive reinforcement. I know how special your fur baby is and I know it can be scary to trust someone else with them--trust me, I've been there. I would treat them the exact same way I treat my own dog--with attention, care, respect, and lots of love. Your dog will be supervised at all times in a large 3BR condo with large living spaces, plenty of toys and places to lounge. Oh--and a goofy furry friend named Trevor! I work from home and keep a pretty typical schedule--my dog and I go for a 30-45 min walk around 7:30 AM, a 45-90 min walk around 4PM, and then a 30-45 min walk around 8PM. In between, he lounges while I work with breaks for cuddles and play. I would adjust walking lengths to your dog's needs and can do more potty and play breaks if needed! I have a large 3BR condo with a large living area, study (where I work), and dining area. Dogs are allowed on my couch and bed but there are also dog beds in nearly every room. My kitchen has a door and my pantry has a door that I keep closed so your dog wont get into any food they're not supposed to.
About: With 15 years of pet ownership, I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and communicative. I'm a pet owner too, so I know how important it is to stick to your pet's routine and send plenty of updates so you can relax. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible schedule. My campus is only a 10-minute drive away, which means I can easily come home to check on your pet every 2-4 hours, or as often as needed. My neighborhood has plenty of green spaces and safe areas, perfect for long walks and playtime. My home features a secure, fenced-in backyard with plenty of grass, giving your pet a safe space to play and take comfortable potty breaks. I have a friendly, 5-year-old Siberian Husky who loves making new friends. For everyone's safety, he is neutered and kept completely up-to-date on all vaccinations and routine care. I also have an XL dog crate available for your dog's use if that is part of their normal routine.
“WOW! We emailed Shannon at the last moment because we were passing through Baltimore (on our way up to Canada) and needed a place for our dog to go for a few hours while we checked out the Aquarium. Shannon was incredibly kind and helpful, and even took our dog on a long walk through the woods to make sure he was good and tired for our long car ride that afternoon. When we pass back through, she is our first call!”

“Penelope LOVES her “Uncle” Rey! She has so much fun at his home and is very comfortable when dropping her off. I pick her up and she is happy and that makes me happy! Rey is so so so nice and just a really great doggy daycare provider. He definitely knows dogs and is very accommodating and communicative.”

“Lexi-Saige took to Jessica immediately. She slept with her and hung-out by her side all day. I'm glad my precious girl felt comfortable and enjoyed her day while I was out of town. Thanks Jessica!”

“Was so great even with my dog mommy hovering he communicated very fast and well, even sent me pictures from time to time especially during walks and eating times! Very much would book again :)”

“Nathalie took care of my 3 yr old Airedale Terrier Que for the day and she did a fabulous job! She made sure that Que was comfortable since it was her first time being with someone new for the day. Nathalie kept a record of the number of walks and how often Que went to the bathroom. I would certainly recommend Nathalie to anyone who's in need of a pet sitter in the sitter's home.”

“Emily was amazing! We did a meet and greet a few days before hand and then on the actual day, my dog remembered her and was so excited to be back. I was worried because he’s a bit of a Velcro dog but Emily said he slept behind her while she worked and spent some time outside with her dog as well playing. 10/10, I will book Emily and Patrick next time I need a sitter.”

“Hazel is a lucky dog to have spent her week with Catherine. She’s so caring and attentive, and lets the owners know how she is doing frequently. Thanks so much-hope she can visit again soon!”
“Shanikki was very flexible with my last minute booking and my dog enjoyed her time! She was very responsive and sent pictures and was great with my nervous dog.”

“Liz was so kind and amazing with Maverick. Sent me pics and updates throughout the day and even helped teach Mav some new skills. I felt super comfortable trusting her and would recommend her to anyone!!”

“Still my day 1, favorite sitter! Esterline knows one of my boys very well after years of daycare, but this was the first time she met my newer (very anxious and special-needs) boy. She consistently goes above and beyond. Sent pictures and reassuring messages all throughout the day. Esterline is the ultimate dog lover. Start-sitter status 100% deserved!”

“Alex did a great job walking my senior pup the past two weeks! He's very responsive on the app and was even willing to be flexible on the timing when something came up last minute. I recommend him for anyone looking for a dependable walker. Thanks Alex!”

About: Hello!! My name is Sabrina and I’m currently a 2nd year graduate student at Hopkins. I’ve always been a HUGE animal lover and begged my family to adopt a pet my entire life. Now, I’ve had my family dog for 7.5 years (she’s 8.5 years now), and I am responsible taking her out every morning to do her daily poops, feed her, and play with her when I go back home in California. My friend would sometimes leave her pet at my place when she goes on vacation so I’m comfortable taking care of multiple animals at a time. Many of my friends also own cats and I always enjoy going to their places and playing with the softest animals to ever exist. I’m currently at JHU doing research about effects of microplastics on embryonic development. Since it’s mostly just research, my day is usually flexible and varies. I’m usually free on the weekends other than some Saturday mornings because I’ll be volunteering at community gardens 🐛. I can walk, feed, and play with the pets at home (and will most definitely be sending a lot of photos). I will make sure to let them have fun but also follow all the instructions given as their safety is the number one priority.
About: Hi, please call me Jupiter :) Pets have been in my life since I was six, and in one way or another I've found myself responsible for the care of one since I was ten or so! Whether it be family, friends, or a stray - I adore animals! I pride myself in my approach to pets as I do with children: be firm, but respectful. Understand boundaries and do my best to read the situation with what information I'm given and what I can infer from there. Its always great to immediately bond with a furry friend, but all living beings deserve basic respect and compassion! I've met very few pets I didn't hit it off with, but even my great aunt's black cat, old and cranky as he is, let me feed him and exist nearby without claws (as is his M.O. with anyone who isn't his owner). Long story short, I adore all the fauna earth has to offer and make it my mission to successfully cohabitate at minimum, and a strong bond more often :) I now have a car again! I work 5p to 8p Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 12p-5p Sunday and 8a-8p Wednesday and Thursday! The day time hours are subject to change based on the gig but i'm always off Saturday and don't mind working you and your furry friend into my schedule! Overnights are fine though Id have to leave early on those 12 hour days - coming back after isn't an issue for longer stays! Drop ins are extra welcome at the moment :) While I cannot board, I take care to leave a home as I found it, if not better. I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.

“Ivan came over for a meet and greet with my dog, who liked him immediately. He picked up the dog at the scheduled time and took him on an hour walk. When I got home the dog was back in his crate and very content. Thank you Ivan!”

“Wonderful dog walker and pet sitter and a true animal lover! She walked my high-energy beagle/hound twice a week for about six months and even took her running, which she loves! She sends pictures every time, which I really appreciate. And she would give my cat some snuggles and attention, too. I called on her last month to pet sit in my home for several days while I was traveling, and she was awesome. I felt great knowing the pets were getting a lot of attention while I was away, and again, the pictures! Sad to see her leave our area-- she is fantastic!”

“My pit bull mix Annie has some issues with anxiety and reactivity, but Lindsay does a great job keeping her calm and feeling safe! I know she is taken good care of while I'm at work!”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs, from puppies to a 15 year old coonhound with three legs. No matter the case, I provide top tier care and ensure excellent communication with pet parents. I work an events jobs with short shifts that don’t require me to be away for more than a few hours, allowing ample time for morning, afternoon, and evening care. Happy to provide long or short term care! I am happy to stick to your pet’s normal routine and will do whatever is needed to make them comfortable. I am very comfortable administering medication/ making meals if your pet has a special diet, going on long walks, playing with their favorite toy, and will make sure to meet their needs!

“Elizabeth is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and my dog loved her. My dog is somewhat skiddish due to her past, and it's a comfort to know that Elizabeth knows exactly how to behave around and interact with her without scaring her. I know that having Elizabeth come walk my pup midday significantly increases her quality of life. She felt comfortable around Elizabeth right away, and I'm so glad she's available to give my pup some love and enrichment while I'm at work.”

“Saisri is an INCREDIBLE dog caretaker! She treats my pup as well as I do, learning her routines and how she prefers to communicate. Saisri is a gentle, responsible, kind human with great instincts. I trust her 100%!”

“Margaret was very sweet with my dog Lily. Lily was nervous at first, as she often is with new people, but she came back from the walk relaxed and happy.”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life! Since I was a kid, we’ve always had dogs in the house, and as I grew older, I became the primary care taker of my dogs back home in Texas. I’m good at following complex regimens, from training details, feeding schedules, and medication administration! I’m am very flexible and comfortable around all dogs. I especially love larger pups. I have just graduated undergrad, so my availability has definitely freed up recently! I am available early mornings during the weekdays and most afternoons for both weekdays and weekends. To me, caring for pets also means giving them all the necessary attention! I love interacting with them at home with gentle play. Outside, I love to take my dogs to a park and let them run around and get their exercise. My dogs love to fetch, so I can’t forget to take a ball with me on our walks! I am always watching for the time, making sure that they are eating and pottying on schedule! My ultimate goal is to ensure that a pet is completely comfortable and safe, whether that means running around with them or taking a very calm walk!!
“Tiara has been such a blessing to my healing after having a baby. I can't get out to walk my dog but we signed up for rover and got linked up with the awesome Tiara!”
“Susannah is a wonderful dog walker. She obviously loves dogs. She’s reliable always on time and Gracie gets great walks. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: 10 years ago I worked at wagmore dogs and since I’ve taken my skills to my community and taken care of family and friends pets when they went out of town or when they simply did overtime at work I only work my full time 3/4 days a week and it gives me ample time to take care of pets.mid week and weekend availability I can easily crate your dog if needed but I typically clean up after every little thing your fur babies do. I’m a parent and had fur babies of my own so I understand how important caring and attentiveness is
“Anna has walked my girl Missy three times and has been great. On time, she lets me know when she's arrived, sends me a report card and a photo, and gives me an update. M is getting older and Anna respects her energy levels on a given day, which I appreciate. Am happy to recommend her!”

About: I grew up in a home where we always had at least one dog, and I've been caring for dogs my entire life. As an adult, I cared for an elderly dog through his senior years, including managing his medical needs and ensuring his comfort during his final chapter. This taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to recognize subtle signs that a dog needs extra care or gentler handling. I've also regularly cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs over the years. I understand that every dog has their own personality—some are energetic and playful, others prefer calm, steady walks. I take time to learn what makes each dog comfortable and happy. For me, spending time with dogs isn't just a job—it's something I genuinely miss and enjoy. I'm reliable, observant, and will treat your dog with the same care and respect I gave my own. I work from home full-time during weekdays but have a flexible schedule that allows me to take on dog walking during mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm looking for regular clients who need consistent care, whether that's daily walks, weekend visits, or occasional drop-ins. I live in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore and am happy to work with clients in my neighborhood. Walking is something I already enjoy and build into my day, so adding dog walks feels natural rather than squeezed in. I'm reliable about communication and will always let you know if my availability changes. For dog walking, I always ensure dogs are securely leashed before leaving the home and stay alert to their body language and the environment around us. I'm comfortable navigating busy sidewalks, parks, and quieter residential areas depending on what the dog prefers. I follow any specific instructions owners provide about routes, other dogs, or behavioral needs. If watching pets in their home, I'm respectful of the space, follow feeding and medication schedules carefully, and keep owners updated. I understand the responsibility of having someone's keys and entering their home, and I take that trust seriously.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and have spent several years caring for both dogs and cats in various settings. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or providing companionship while owners are away, I treat every pet like my own. As having two dogs of my own as they love to go on walks. Being also experienced working with Charm City Groomer and Volunteering at BARCS(Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter) love to walk and pet sit for any dogs or cats. As for out for the semester out of college for now I am free being any time. While having much time in the afternoon and morning could help anyone that would need help with pet sitting or walkers. For the safety is top priority as for I will make sure the pet is safe either outside or indoor having activities to dog either walking ir chilling out indoors.

“We felt so comfortable leaving Remi with Julia! Remi is under a year old and it was his first time away from us. Julia helped make that experience easy for him and us by being timely, organized, and responsive. She sent texts with beautiful pictures to let us know how he was doing— which made us feel confident in our decision to leave for the holidays. Thank you Julia! We are looking forward to the next time we need to board him.”

“Kera is a star sitter! She’s a clear communicator, sent just the right amount of updates, and is very capable. I especially appreciated her ability to handle my reactive cattle dog and trust her judgement with handling any special needs. I highly recommend her and will most certainly bring Aries back on my next work trip.”
