As he spent the majority of his life as a puppy mill papa, Remi can be challenging. As a teacher and a mom, Danielle had the skills and patience to work with him. She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! We couldn’t be happier to have found someone to care for our dog like one of her own! Next time we need somebody to care for our pup, she will absolutely be our first call!”

“I hired Margaret after I’d already flown to the west coast for a family emergency. No get-to-know you meeting, just trust. She was fantastic, with great communication. It took multiple visits before my cat, Maude, known to be very shy with strangers, would come out of hiding. But Margaret was calm and patient and eventually Maude came out for cuddles. I got pictures each visit, so even when Maude was hiding I knew she was fine. I highly recommend Margaret for drop-in petsitting.”

Monday–Friday: Available after 6:00 PM for evening walks, drop-in visits, and pet care. Weekends: Flexible availability for walks, drop-ins, pet sitting, and boarding in my home. Holidays: Available for pet care, flexible. I’m also happy to care for pets in my home M-F when the timing is a good fit. I know pets do best with consistency, so I’ll work with you to understand their normal routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. As my schedule changes, I expect to have more daytime availability in the future! When you leave your pet in someone else’s care, trust matters. I take that responsibility seriously. Your pet’s safety and well-being will always come first. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, stick to their normal routines as much as possible, and pay attention to the little things that help them feel comfortable and secure. I’ll keep things clean and secure, make sure doors and gates are properly closed, and never take shortcuts when it comes to your pet’s safety. About: Hi, please call me Jupiter :) Pets have been in my life since I was six, and in one way or another I've found myself responsible for the care of one since I was ten or so! Whether it be family, friends, or a stray - I adore animals! I pride myself in my approach to pets as I do with children: be firm, but respectful. Understand boundaries and do my best to read the situation with what information I'm given and what I can infer from there. Its always great to immediately bond with a furry friend, but all living beings deserve basic respect and compassion! I've met very few pets I didn't hit it off with, but even my great aunt's black cat, old and cranky as he is, let me feed him and exist nearby without claws (as is his M.O. with anyone who isn't his owner). Long story short, I adore all the fauna earth has to offer and make it my mission to successfully cohabitate at minimum, and a strong bond more often :) I now have a car again! I work 5p to 8p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 8a-8p Thursday! The day time hours are subject to change based on the gig but I'm currently off weekends and don't mind working you and your furry friend into my schedule! Overnights are fine though Id have to leave early on 12 hour days - coming back after isn't an issue for longer stays! Drop ins are extra welcome at the moment :) While I cannot board, I take care to leave a home as I found it, if not better. I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.

About: I know how special our pets are in our lives. I will bring the same care, love and affection I have provided for my own fur babies to yours. Pet care fits into my schedule during the morning and afternoon hours around 4 pm. I am pretty flexible with my schedule so can adjust when needed. Much like children I have babysat in the past - keeping a safe environment is vital to everyone’s safety. With pets this is the same principle. Making sure everyone is safe and happy is my top priority.
