“Veronica and her husband were exceptional. It was my first time booking with Rover and they exceeded my expectations. They looked after my 2 Pomeranians for a week, sent me the cutest pictures every day and I could see how comfy and laid back the poms were. They spoiled them with tv time and cuddles and even hand fed Theo, who can be picky to eat 🤣. I definitely recommend.”

About: I've been a huge pet lover since I was little! I've taken care of my family and neighbor's dogs since I was little, and I recently started taking care of family friends' dogs in my own home. I have experience administering meds for doggies on medication, love working out so I can keep up with any active ones, and have done grooming before! I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs, as well as small doggies all the way to big dogs. I love em all!! I just graduated college, and I am looking for full-time industry jobs, so I am home/available all day, and I'm ready to build my routines/schedules around your fur baby and make them my top priority! For boarding, I provide a secure, pet-proofed home. I like to do slow/controlled introductions with my roommates (all female college students) and me and keep close supervision at all times, especially in the beginning. I have an unfenced yard, but I never let untrained and/or unleashed doggies out there without constant supervision. I will follow all your care instructions and medication schedules. Everything mentioned applies for house sitting and dog walking! I do not own any pets myself, so I am open for doggies who cannot be around other animals.

About: Before I started college, there wasn’t a time in my life I can remember when I haven’t taken care of cats. I grew up with cats and always dreamed of having cats of my own someday. In the past 8 years, I’ve cat-sat for my roommate and her two cats, who have a rambunctious sibling rivalry; my mom’s grumpy but adorable cat, who has IBS; my friend’s young kittens, young enough to need round-the-clock monitoring; my cousins’ extremely gregarious and enormously fluffy cats; another friend’s large, social orange cat and sweet, shy elderly cat; another friend’s very shy cat who needed several days of having food and water placed beside the bed he was hiding under before he would emerge; and two other pairs of kitty siblings. I’ve been lucky enough to befriend cats of many personality types, and it’s something I feel quite proud of (and don’t we all feel pride when we manage to win a cat’s trust and affection?). Whatever personality your cat has, I can adapt to what they need and I have the patience and sensitivity to provide it to them. Elderly cats or cats with health issues are a particular soft spot of mine, as I took care of two elderly cats with health issues during my high school years, including my very first cat, Micio, who died of cancer when she was 17 and I was 18. I don’t exclusively get along with older or shyer cats, however; I have plenty of energy for playing with cats whose tendency is to be bouncing off the walls!

“Marin was an excellent sitter this week for our cat! Of course, we were worried as pet parents leaving town and being away from her for so long. But Marin was very reassuring, communicative, and helpful. We got pictures with every check in, and updates throughout her stay. Our cat can have a bit of attitude and be feisty, but she warmed right up to Marin. We cannot thank you enough for the good care you took of our girl! Will book again!”

“Alexis was tremendous. He left thorough review cards, lots of pictures, and was very communicative throughout his drop-ins. He was very flexible through a home-alarm difficulty, was very sweet to our cats, and we cannot recommend him enough. Please consider utilizing Alexis for your home visits!”

About: Since the cat distribution system blessed me with an adult cat for two years in which I have had experience administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, and cuddling with cats.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 30 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and care needs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve looked after everything from energetic dogs who love adventure and playtime to senior pets who need a gentler pace, extra patience, and close attention to routines and comfort. I also previously owned and operated my own pet sitting business for several years, where I built trusted relationships with pet owners and provided dependable in-home care for their pets and houses. I eventually closed the business to help my sister run her company full time, but I never stopped pet sitting. Since then, I’ve continued caring for pets on the side because it’s something I genuinely love and find deeply fulfilling. My experience includes daily walks, feeding schedules, administering medications, overnight care, companionship, litter box maintenance, basic grooming support, and maintaining consistent routines to help pets feel secure while their owners are away. I understand how important communication and trust are, so I always aim to provide thoughtful updates and attentive care that gives owners real peace of mind. Along with pet care, I’m highly respectful of people’s homes and take pride in leaving spaces clean, organized, and well cared for. I’m dependable, communicative, calm under pressure, and genuinely attentive to the little details that make a difference. For me, great pet sitting is about creating a safe, loving, low stress environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for until their people return. "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." Anatole France I work remotely full-time, which allows me to provide pets with lots of companionship, supervision, and consistency throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate walks, feeding routines, playtime, medications, and cuddle breaks as needed. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so I naturally build pet care into my daily routine rather than treating it like a task to check off. I have over 30 years of experience caring for animals and previously owned my own pet sitting business, so safety, communication, and trust are extremely important to me. I’m very attentive to routines, behavior changes, medications, and household instructions, and I always aim to create a calm, loving, low-stress environment for pets while their owners are away. I treat every home with respect and care, keep spaces clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: I've had cats of my own for 30 years. When I was going through cancer treatments, my cat Jasper stuck to me like glue. His presence and cuddles helped get me through the treatments. When I was on a feeding tube, he would be there next to me to help and sniff the fluids to make sure they were ok. I constantly brush my cats and make sure they have clean litter and plenty of fresh food and water.

“Meredith and Kevyn are the best. My pup Rupert always has so much fun when he is with them and all his pup friends. Every time we go back, he runs right up to the door, tail wagging and so excited. Finding them on Rover has been a game changer for us!”

“I love Tiara! She was amazing with Queso. She was flexible with my times and very communicative and gave updates throughout the day with Queso. I would definitely use her help again and suggest Tiara for services to others. Thank you so much!”

About: My dog and I work from home all day and we'd love your pup to come hang out with us! I did my PhD at Johns Hopkins and now work as a remote tech professional. I have a 5-year-old lab/shepherd mix. I have babysat and fostered dogs of all shapes and sizes, including dogs with special needs. I'm the girl who takes better care of her dog than myself. I'm talkin' three 45+ minute walks a day, human-grade dog food with special toppings, and only positive reinforcement. I know how special your fur baby is and I know it can be scary to trust someone else with them--trust me, I've been there. I would treat them the exact same way I treat my own dog--with attention, care, respect, and lots of love. Your dog will be supervised at all times in a large 3BR condo with large living spaces, plenty of toys and places to lounge. Oh--and a goofy furry friend named Trevor! I work from home and keep a pretty typical schedule--my dog and I go for a 30-45 min walk around 7:30 AM, a 45-90 min walk around 4PM, and then a 30-45 min walk around 8PM. In between, he lounges while I work with breaks for cuddles and play. I would adjust walking lengths to your dog's needs and can do more potty and play breaks if needed! I have a large 3BR condo with a large living area, study (where I work), and dining area. Dogs are allowed on my couch and bed but there are also dog beds in nearly every room. My kitchen has a door and my pantry has a door that I keep closed so your dog wont get into any food they're not supposed to.
“I am so grateful we found Shannon! She went above and beyond making sure our little goober was well taken care of with walks, cuddles, and other pups to play with and tire him out. We got regular pictures throughout the day and our Logan always looked like he was having a blast. He gets so excited when we get in the car now thinking we’re going to Shannon’s, and every time we pick him up he is totally pooped. Shannon is more than a dog sitter, she will love your pups as if they’re her own. ❤️??”

About: Owner of one sweet large dog and two cats. More than 10 years of experience taking care of animals. Graduate student with flexible schedules and lots of love for many fur babies. My parents are with me right now so extra hands on deck and almost companion all day for your pets. I’m a graduate student with flexible schedules. I enjoy playing and walking with animals for relaxation. I live in a neighborhood that’s very great for dog walking. I have a fenced yard, very friendly dog and cats. Enough space indoors for playing too. I have a car hammock for dog to sit comfortably in the back seat and seatbelt for them, if we need to go take a ride.
“My 4 month old puppy had another great day at Rey’s. He has fun playing with other dogs. I also love the great pics that Rey sends. He always comes home tired which is wonderful!”

“Emily was amazing! We did a meet and greet a few days before hand and then on the actual day, my dog remembered her and was so excited to be back. I was worried because he’s a bit of a Velcro dog but Emily said he slept behind her while she worked and spent some time outside with her dog as well playing. 10/10, I will book Emily and Patrick next time I need a sitter.”

“Daniel was so great! We were passing through on a road trip and put in a last minute request for some dog sitting so my daughter and I could go to the aquarium- we were greeted by a very excited pack of dogs, ready to play. Daniel took our dog on a nice long walk and she had lots of playtime as well as relaxing time. The photos he provided make it clear that she felt right at home and very relaxed. When we came to collect her, Daniel made sure to give her one more big round of scritches, at which point I’m pretty sure she was ready to stay with him forever. We will definitely reach out to Daniel again if we are ever passing through again and need a pet sitter!”

“Shanikki was very flexible with my last minute booking and my dog enjoyed her time! She was very responsive and sent pictures and was great with my nervous dog.”

“Theo is a great sitter. I felt comfortable knowing my pup was in his care. My dog, a pandemic pup, has separation anxiety so he’s not always willing to go to just anybody. He did well with Theo and I really appreciated updates throughout the day. I look forward to continuing to use his dog sitting services.”

“esterline was so accommodating for a last minute request and so sweet and welcoming to solo. he walked right into her home like he had been there before. she even took him on a nice walk and a visit to the dog park where he had a blast!! so thankful for esterline!”

“Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic with our dog Lupin. She picked him and dropped him off every day which was such a help. He also adored playing with her puppy!”

“I left Coco with Alicia for the day while work was being done in my house. Often when I leave her with someone she pulls on her leash and wants to come with me but this time she seemed to be happy staying with Alicia and Nala. It was as if I wasn't even there! Alicia took good care of Coco. I look forward to leaving Coco with her again.”

“Nathalie took care of my 3 yr old Airedale Terrier Que for the day and she did a fabulous job! She made sure that Que was comfortable since it was her first time being with someone new for the day. Nathalie kept a record of the number of walks and how often Que went to the bathroom. I would certainly recommend Nathalie to anyone who's in need of a pet sitter in the sitter's home.”

“Leaf was a great sitter for my dog Benny that can be super crazy at times! she took him to the dog park and was super communicative. would recommend her to anyone!”

“SJ is wonderful to work with. The notes they provided after the daily walks meant so much to me while I was away from my fur-baby. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Alex did a great job walking my senior pup the past two weeks! He's very responsive on the app and was even willing to be flexible on the timing when something came up last minute. I recommend him for anyone looking for a dependable walker. Thanks Alex!”

About: **Note on availability: I’m moving to Boulder, CO on June 29th, so unfortunately I won’t be available for pet sitting in Baltimore after that!** I’m a (near-)lifelong pet owner and (actually) lifelong pet lover. I grew up with an adorable calico cat that my family got when I was 2 and an energetic Stabyhoun dog we got when I was 11, so I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have an animal or two to care for. That calico cat, Micio, was my best friend until she died at age 17, during my senior year of high school. She experienced some significant health issues in her final years, which gave me lots of experience and a real passion for caring for senior pets and pets with health issues. I also help my mom care for my childhood dog, the Stabyhoun, whenever I visit the two of them—he is now 15 and has a few health issues of his own, but he still acts like a puppy, and I love figuring out how to make him as comfortable and happy as possible as his needs change! Sadly, the building I live in right now doesn’t allow pets, so I get my fix looking after my friends’ pets. This is what I’ve been doing since starting college in 2018. Between cat sibling rivalries, kittens so small they needed monitoring and heating pads 24/7, a dog with a fear of trash cans and rain, a puppy with a peeing problem, and two dogs competing to be the most polite to each other (I had to feed them in different rooms so they wouldn’t wait forever for each other to eat), I’ve cared for plenty of pets on every side of the personality spectrum, from the shyest of the shy to the most outgoing. I see it as a true privilege to get to know so many animals’ personalities and quirks, and I treasure the time that I spend with them. I am careful, thorough, sensitive, and a good listener. This helps me learn from you about how to give your pet the best care possible, and it also helps me be alert to anything your pet is trying to tell me while I’m with them! Hopefully I’ll live somewhere someday where I can have pets of my own and even offer boarding or doggy day care at my place, but for now, I’m just happy to help in any small way I can. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet; to learning what makes them feel safe, happy, and content; and to hopefully making a new friend. I’m a part-time music teacher, so my schedule can be quite flexible when planned ahead of time. Currently, I’m available M/W/Th before 3pm and after 5pm, Tuesdays before 3pm and after 9pm, and Fri-Sun all day. Depending on the week, I might have a concert to play or a lesson to teach here or there outside of those hours; let me know what time window you’re interested in and I can give you my full schedule in detail! I try my best to make the care I provide is customized to any pet’s needs. Since I’m a musician, my only limit is that if I’m spending a whole day or days with a pet who needs a lot of people time, I need to be able to practice my violin. I have a practice mute which can make the sound very soft, but still, I understand that this isn’t every person’s (or animal’s) cup of tea! Outside of that limitation, I am available to take your pet on walks, play with them (in or outside of your house), pamper them, feed them, give them medications, intervene in sibling squabbles as needed, do training exercises with them, brush their teeth—if your pet needs it, and you’re willing to teach me any special instructions or methods you have, I can do it!

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life! Since I was a kid, we’ve always had dogs in the house, and as I grew older, I became the primary care taker of my dogs back home in Texas. I’m good at following complex regimens, from training details, feeding schedules, and medication administration! I’m am very flexible and comfortable around all dogs. I especially love larger pups. I have just graduated undergrad, so my availability has definitely freed up recently! I am available early mornings during the weekdays and most afternoons for both weekdays and weekends. To me, caring for pets also means giving them all the necessary attention! I love interacting with them at home with gentle play. Outside, I love to take my dogs to a park and let them run around and get their exercise. My dogs love to fetch, so I can’t forget to take a ball with me on our walks! I am always watching for the time, making sure that they are eating and pottying on schedule! My ultimate goal is to ensure that a pet is completely comfortable and safe, whether that means running around with them or taking a very calm walk!!

“Ivan is the best! Our dog can be reactive and Ivan did a great job of being very patient and calm despite our dog being quite mean. Would highly recommend!”

“Tiara has been such a blessing to my healing after having a baby. I can't get out to walk my dog but we signed up for rover and got linked up with the awesome Tiara!”

About: I grew up in a home where we always had at least one dog, and I've been caring for dogs my entire life. As an adult, I cared for an elderly dog through his senior years, including managing his medical needs and ensuring his comfort during his final chapter. This taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to recognize subtle signs that a dog needs extra care or gentler handling. I've also regularly cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs over the years. I understand that every dog has their own personality—some are energetic and playful, others prefer calm, steady walks. I take time to learn what makes each dog comfortable and happy. For me, spending time with dogs isn't just a job—it's something I genuinely miss and enjoy. I'm reliable, observant, and will treat your dog with the same care and respect I gave my own. I work from home full-time during weekdays but have a flexible schedule that allows me to take on dog walking during mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm looking for regular clients who need consistent care, whether that's daily walks, weekend visits, or occasional drop-ins. I live in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore and am happy to work with clients in my neighborhood. Walking is something I already enjoy and build into my day, so adding dog walks feels natural rather than squeezed in. I'm reliable about communication and will always let you know if my availability changes. For dog walking, I always ensure dogs are securely leashed before leaving the home and stay alert to their body language and the environment around us. I'm comfortable navigating busy sidewalks, parks, and quieter residential areas depending on what the dog prefers. I follow any specific instructions owners provide about routes, other dogs, or behavioral needs. If watching pets in their home, I'm respectful of the space, follow feeding and medication schedules carefully, and keep owners updated. I understand the responsibility of having someone's keys and entering their home, and I take that trust seriously.

About: Experienced pet sitter caring for dogs and cats, including my grand kitties at home, providing feeding, playtime, litter care, and a calm, loving, consistent environment daily Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine, with scheduled walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, ensuring pets receive consistent care, attention, and comfort every day I create a safe, calm space by following routines, monitoring behavior, securing surroundings, using gentle handling, and building trust through patience, consistency, and positive interactions daily
“Kristine did an amazing job with my babies!! She was punctual. Communicated amazingly and was able to follow all my very detailed instructions making. I had a quite a few security measures and she followed vetting perfectly making me feel like my dogs and home were safe while I was way in Cancun for 5 days. The babies loved her. I even got a little jealous watching my Roxy cry on the camera after their time together. I will 1000% recommend Kristine and will be using her in the future for dog sitting/walking needs!”

“Margaret was very sweet with my dog Lily. Lily was nervous at first, as she often is with new people, but she came back from the walk relaxed and happy.”

“Elizabeth is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and my dog loved her. My dog is somewhat skiddish due to her past, and it's a comfort to know that Elizabeth knows exactly how to behave around and interact with her without scaring her. I know that having Elizabeth come walk my pup midday significantly increases her quality of life. She felt comfortable around Elizabeth right away, and I'm so glad she's available to give my pup some love and enrichment while I'm at work.”

About: I have always been interested in keeping a dog since young and would search on youtube about them all the time. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to keep one before (except my brother's dog!), but I dare say that I can be the perfect companion while walking them! I'm a recent college graduate in boston, currently idling around at home most of the time looking for jobs...😹 which means I have tons of time to look after your dog! Free on most days and can adjust to your schedule. When I walk the dog, I always make sure I always hold on to the leash tight. When at home, I make sure that the dog get fed their meal or medications on time.
About: I grew up always having a dog in the house. When I moved out I really missed hanging out with my dogs so I started dog walking. I worked as a dog walker in DC for 4 years. I learned about body language, leash training, and how unique every dog truly is. I love to walk. I love dogs. I figured why not get back into it. I am a student at UBalt, working part time remotely. I work Thursday to Saturday from home. My schedule is very open at the moment. I have a toddler so I am very sweet and caring but I also love to play (carefully) so if your dog has a lot of energy I can handle that and still be careful and attentive
About: I have always been an animal person, and have been a regular dogsitter and catsitter for friends and family for over 10 years. I love caring for all types of critters, from little balls of energy to to more mellow senior animals, and will try my best not to spoil yours too much (depending on how quickly they steal my heart.) I specialize in enrichment activities, such as walks and play sessions, but will also enjoy just hanging out with your little buddy in any capacity. I'm currently off of school for the summer, so I have lots of available time in the day to care for your animals! I am generally available any day of the week between 8 AM and 10 PM, except for Sunday, when I am not available until 11 AM. (6-8 AM is also a possibility if necessary.) I always make sure to respect my clients' homes and keep their belongings safe from rowdy playing. I will always be sure to read your instructions for entry carefully, and I am good at cleaning up a mess if there is one made.
About: I’ve had pets all of my life (18 years) and I’ve learned that I love animals and taking care of them just comes easy to me. I would love to watch and take care of dogs. I will treat your pet like it’s one of my own. I’m currently in the process of finding a new job so I will be free everyday of the week until then! If I could make dog walking/sitting my main job, I would love to do that! I handle pets with care and respect. I never want to hurt an animal. I will do whatever the pet owner needs me to do with no problem.

“Nathalie was great with Bumi and so helpfully flexible with pickup plans. She was responsive and the photo updates really put my mind at ease while on vacation. Will absolutely be booking again! Thank you Nathalie! 😊”

“Highly recommend Karla! Dodger was right at home! We loved Karla’s updates and photos, showing him having fun on neighborhood walks, eating his meal, and snuggling. Karla asked so many helpful questions to make sure that Dodger and she had everything they needed.”

“From the pictures Shannon sent during my dog’s week of boarding she had great fun. Friends to play with and much affection! Wonderful time and care. Highly recommend 🤗”

“Shruti did an amazing job with Prince! She treated him just like her own dog. He was well cared for and loved. She sent nice pictures while I was away. I don’t think Prince missed me at all; he was so happy with Shruti.”

“Maryfe was amazing! She was responsive, kind, and incredibly understanding, especially when my flight was canceled and I needed to extend Henry’s stay by an extra day. She treated Henry like family and gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. I’m so grateful for her flexibility and the love she showed Henry.”

“Casey and Marwa are the BEST! They spoiled our large dog Indiana to no end with multiple long walks every day, playtime, cuddles, and even grooming. There was plenty of space to roam freely in the house. They posted many pictures and videos every day. Their Pug Kevin is so cute and friendly! Indy came home well fed, nicely groomed, happy, and relaxed.”

“Rey is the best! He knows so much about dogs that we really felt confident leaving our dog with him for 10 days. We got lots of pics and updates so we knew everything was going well. It was hard to leave our dog for the first time since we adopted him but we made the right decision when we picked Rey. He will be the first person we call when we need a dog sitter again.”

“Gina was terrific! She was super flexible with our scheduling and was very responsive. Great feedback/updates on our pup and the experience was a positive one. Will definitely look to use her again!”

“Our 2 year old pup seemed to have a great time at Ginnie and Steven’s! They were communicative, sent pics and updates, and the dogs all seemed happy and well cared for. They do board multiple dogs at once but we appreciated that they took care to pair dogs together with similar temperaments. Our pup loves to play and run, which not all dogs love! But it sounds like they were able to pair him with a few playmates that were up to his energy level. We hope to use them again in the future!”

“I've got two special needs dogs, both with vision problems, and one with epilepsy. Andrew took wonderful care of the dogs, was very communicative and sent pictures and videos where they looked happy every time. Can't recommend him enough.”
