“I was impressed how Sarah kept me abreast on how my dog was doing and with pictures. That made it more personable and helped to relieve any anxiety I had being away. She showed that she cared and that meant a lot. I highly recommend Sarah for boarding needs.”

“Kyra is a fantastic sitter! She took great care of my husky during a long weekend trip. She was very accommodating with our pickup time when our flight got delayed due to weather. Will re-book with her again in the future!”

“Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of my fur baby! Maxwell doesn’t take to strangers in my presence so I was very nervous about leaving him for the weekend. Jessica assured me that he would be well taken care of, and he was! Jessica made sure to check in with me throughout the weekend and sent pics as well. Max returned happy and healthy! Thank you Jessica! I will definitely be contacting you again soon.”

“Karla was AMAZING with our pup, Clea! She sent daily photos and updates, and kept her entertained and happy. Clea looked like she was having a blast! We came home to a happy, rested pup. “Shruti took excellent care of my dog this weekend and did a truly wonderful job. She was communicative, responsible, and clearly loves animals. My dog was happy, well cared for, and relaxed when I returned, which says it all. I highly recommend Shurti and would absolutely book her again!”

“After multiple sitters canceling, I found Rover and Danielle, who was happy to watch Remi at the last minute. The universe knew what it was doing, as Danielle and Remi bonded the moment they met. As he spent the majority of his life as a puppy mill papa, Remi can be challenging. As a teacher and a mom, Danielle had the skills and patience to work with him. She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! We couldn’t be happier to have found someone to care for our dog like one of her own! Next time we need somebody to care for our pup, she will absolutely be our first call!”

“Awesome dog sitter! She kept my dog last minute right before a planned family trip. She made me feel comfortable especially being new to the Rover app. I would recommend anyone to her. Got my dog back today and I already think he is attached to her..lol! Will definitely be using her again!”

“My husband & I were ever so grateful to have our dog, Star, board with Rich. We had never been away from her for 2 weeks before and we hated the idea of leaving her in a cold, cinder-block kennel. Rich provided a warm, friendly home where we could trust that Star enjoyed her stay. We were happy to get updates and pictures of Star throughout our vacation. Even though these made us miss her all the more, we were happy to know she was being cared for with love. We will definitely contact Rich the next time we need to board Star.”

“Took great care of my older dog. And my older dog has issues with food and people but regardless of those issues she still took great care of her and gave good updates.”

“First, thank you for taking care of Asher you really treat him as your own. For all the updates and pictures that they sent my little boy really enjoyed and had fun during his stay. Definitely will book them again in the future. They were really a star sitter.”

“Casey and Marwa are the BEST! They spoiled our large dog Indiana to no end with multiple long walks every day, playtime, cuddles, and even grooming. There was plenty of space to roam freely in the house. They posted many pictures and videos every day. Their Pug Kevin is so cute and friendly! Indy came home well fed, nicely groomed, happy, and relaxed.”

“Like any dog mom, I was nervous to leave my puppy JET for the first time, but Maryfe made the experience so reassuring. She’s an excellent communicator and kept me updated with lots of pictures and messages, which really put my mind at ease. My puppy had a wonderful time and came home happy. 10/10 !!! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“We had a great experience with Shipra! She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared a lot about our dog. We received regular updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Toby looked happy, well-fed, and comfortable when we returned. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet, but Shipra made the whole process smooth and stress free. We would definitely recommend Shipra and will be booking again!”

“This was Faye’s first pet sitting experience that wasn’t with a family member, and she has separation anxiety, so I was nervous about how she would do. However, after our initial communications and meet and greet, we felt very confident in leaving Faye with Meagan. Meagan was very easy to communicate with and sent some great pictures! Faye also got along very well with her dogs. I would highly recommend!!!”

“Thx, Robin & family for lovingly caring for Haiku :-) Never-bored, she enjoyed play times & fun with exciting new friends ... an all-around thriving "vacation" experience we're most grateful for ... truly a "home-away-from-home"!”

About: A little bit about me is that i’ve been had many dogs , cats , fish , turtles and guinea pigs (yes my guinea pig, dog & cat all got along lol). i have a roommate who is also a veterinarian who specializes in all types of dogs , which is very helpful since he will be helping with any services i may need assistance on. i currently work in child care (5yrs now) and need something pretty simple over the summer to do while schools out. i live in a spacious loft downtown baltimore. im also a licensed cook as well, so typically feed my pets once a week a good meal. currently working full time until june 8,2026 due to me working in child care and schools almost out. after that ill be 100% free throughout the week and weekend. my building has an enclosed sitting / yard area inside the building. i can do walks too since i live downtown but most likely will be in the area of the enclosed yard my building provides due to that’s where all the other dog parents their babies.
“Shanikki is great with all dog breeds and they feel comfortable in her care. She is great at communicating and always gets back to booking requests promptly. So thankful for her great pet sitting!”

About: Owner of one sweet large dog and two cats. More than 10 years of experience taking care of animals. Graduate student with flexible schedules and lots of love for many fur babies. My parents are with me right now so extra hands on deck and almost companion all day for your pets. I’m a graduate student with flexible schedules. I enjoy playing and walking with animals for relaxation. I live in a neighborhood that’s very great for dog walking. I have a fenced yard, very friendly dog and cats. Enough space indoors for playing too. I have a car hammock for dog to sit comfortably in the back seat and seatbelt for them, if we need to go take a ride.
About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.

“Liz was so kind and amazing with Maverick. Sent me pics and updates throughout the day and even helped teach Mav some new skills. I felt super comfortable trusting her and would recommend her to anyone!!”

“Theo is a great sitter. I felt comfortable knowing my pup was in his care. My dog, a pandemic pup, has separation anxiety so he’s not always willing to go to just anybody. He did well with Theo and I really appreciated updates throughout the day. I look forward to continuing to use his dog sitting services.”

“Jasmine is great!! This is my first time using Rover, and I am glad I found her. She is super responsible - asking me about daily routine; taking my dog outside for walk etc. Easy to communicate as well! Highly recommend 🥰🥰”

Not only does she send you multiple pictures of your pup, but she also is quick to respond with any questions. Needless to say, i will be continuing her services 😁”

“Taylor is fantastic. She is very personable, and she is gentle and loving with my dog Duke. I contacted her the morning of and she was able to come take care of my dog that same day with little notice. My dog has stomach issues sometimes, and she even helped with cleanup when he had an accident in the house, on top of feeding him and taking him for a nice walk in the park. Duke and I are very happy that we found Taylor 💙”

About: **Note on availability: I’m moving to Boulder, CO on June 29th, so unfortunately I won’t be available for pet sitting in Baltimore after that!** I’m a (near-)lifelong pet owner and (actually) lifelong pet lover. I grew up with an adorable calico cat that my family got when I was 2 and an energetic Stabyhoun dog we got when I was 11, so I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have an animal or two to care for. That calico cat, Micio, was my best friend until she died at age 17, during my senior year of high school. She experienced some significant health issues in her final years, which gave me lots of experience and a real passion for caring for senior pets and pets with health issues. I also help my mom care for my childhood dog, the Stabyhoun, whenever I visit the two of them—he is now 15 and has a few health issues of his own, but he still acts like a puppy, and I love figuring out how to make him as comfortable and happy as possible as his needs change! Sadly, the building I live in right now doesn’t allow pets, so I get my fix looking after my friends’ pets. This is what I’ve been doing since starting college in 2018. Between cat sibling rivalries, kittens so small they needed monitoring and heating pads 24/7, a dog with a fear of trash cans and rain, a puppy with a peeing problem, and two dogs competing to be the most polite to each other (I had to feed them in different rooms so they wouldn’t wait forever for each other to eat), I’ve cared for plenty of pets on every side of the personality spectrum, from the shyest of the shy to the most outgoing. I see it as a true privilege to get to know so many animals’ personalities and quirks, and I treasure the time that I spend with them. I am careful, thorough, sensitive, and a good listener. This helps me learn from you about how to give your pet the best care possible, and it also helps me be alert to anything your pet is trying to tell me while I’m with them! Hopefully I’ll live somewhere someday where I can have pets of my own and even offer boarding or doggy day care at my place, but for now, I’m just happy to help in any small way I can. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet; to learning what makes them feel safe, happy, and content; and to hopefully making a new friend. I’m a part-time music teacher, so my schedule can be quite flexible when planned ahead of time. Currently, I’m available M/W/Th before 3pm and after 5pm, Tuesdays before 3pm and after 9pm, and Fri-Sun all day. Depending on the week, I might have a concert to play or a lesson to teach here or there outside of those hours; let me know what time window you’re interested in and I can give you my full schedule in detail! I try my best to make the care I provide is customized to any pet’s needs. Since I’m a musician, my only limit is that if I’m spending a whole day or days with a pet who needs a lot of people time, I need to be able to practice my violin. I have a practice mute which can make the sound very soft, but still, I understand that this isn’t every person’s (or animal’s) cup of tea! Outside of that limitation, I am available to take your pet on walks, play with them (in or outside of your house), pamper them, feed them, give them medications, intervene in sibling squabbles as needed, do training exercises with them, brush their teeth—if your pet needs it, and you’re willing to teach me any special instructions or methods you have, I can do it!
“I can’t say enough good things about Emma! I highly recommend her. She is so considerate to your and your pets’ needs, always timely, detailed in all of her walk reports, and takes the best pictures! I have had her for weekly walks with my fur baby for the past year and can say with trust and confidence, she’s one of the best.”

About: Hi, please call me Jupiter :) Pets have been in my life since I was six, and in one way or another I've found myself responsible for the care of one since I was ten or so! Whether it be family, friends, or a stray - I adore animals! I pride myself in my approach to pets as I do with children: be firm, but respectful. Understand boundaries and do my best to read the situation with what information I'm given and what I can infer from there. Its always great to immediately bond with a furry friend, but all living beings deserve basic respect and compassion! I've met very few pets I didn't hit it off with, but even my great aunt's black cat, old and cranky as he is, let me feed him and exist nearby without claws (as is his M.O. with anyone who isn't his owner). Long story short, I adore all the fauna earth has to offer and make it my mission to successfully cohabitate at minimum, and a strong bond more often :) I now have a car again! I work 5p to 8p Tuesday and Friday, 12p-5p Sunday and 8a-8p Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday! The day time hours are subject to change based on the gig but i'm always off Saturday and don't mind working you and your furry friend into my schedule! Overnights are fine though Id have to leave early on those 12 hour days - coming back after isn't an issue for longer stays! Drop ins are extra welcome at the moment :) While I cannot board, I take care to leave a home as I found it, if not better. I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.
About: My family has loved dogs since I was born. So I’ve been around Japanese Akitas to Pitbulls. I fell in love with dogs so much that I’ll take in any one that I see on the street without a home. Before I got to college I was the main caretaker of my baby Bria. She was a mixed Pitbull who was full of energy and loved to play all day long. I believe that every dog has a beautiful soul so they deserve a human with a beautiful soul as well. I’m currently a full-time college student, and I'm a bartender at Olive Garden. My schedule is pretty flexible and fluid, so I have different times of availability every day. Therefore, times and dates would need to be established on a case-by-case scenario or a set schedule that aligns can be made. With being a college student, depending on how far you live from Morgan State. I can provide your dog great walking and running space on a safe and secured beautiful campus. As it goes for when I come to your lovely home, as long as it was safe for your furry friend before I got there I can assure that it would be just as safe while I’m there.

About: Hello!! My name is Sabrina and I’m currently a 2nd year graduate student at Hopkins. I’ve always been a HUGE animal lover and begged my family to adopt a pet my entire life. Now, I’ve had my family dog for 7.5 years (she’s 8.5 years now), and I am responsible taking her out every morning to do her daily poops, feed her, and play with her when I go back home in California. My friend would sometimes leave her pet at my place when she goes on vacation so I’m comfortable taking care of multiple animals at a time. Many of my friends also own cats and I always enjoy going to their places and playing with the softest animals to ever exist. I’m currently at JHU doing research about effects of microplastics on embryonic development. Since it’s mostly just research, my day is usually flexible and varies. I’m usually free on the weekends other than some Saturday mornings because I’ll be volunteering at community gardens 🐛. I can walk, feed, and play with the pets at home (and will most definitely be sending a lot of photos). I will make sure to let them have fun but also follow all the instructions given as their safety is the number one priority.
About: I have always been an animal person, and have been a regular dogsitter and catsitter for friends and family for over 10 years. I love caring for all types of critters, from little balls of energy to to more mellow senior animals, and will try my best not to spoil yours too much (depending on how quickly they steal my heart.) I specialize in enrichment activities, such as walks and play sessions, but will also enjoy just hanging out with your little buddy in any capacity. I'm currently off of school for the summer, so I have lots of available time in the day to care for your animals! I am generally available any day of the week between 8 AM and 10 PM, except for Sunday, when I am not available until 11 AM. (6-8 AM is also a possibility if necessary.) I always make sure to respect my clients' homes and keep their belongings safe from rowdy playing. I will always be sure to read your instructions for entry carefully, and I am good at cleaning up a mess if there is one made.

About: I have taken care of my neighbors and friends dogs since high school. I continue to be a sitter for a lot of them and enjoy their company! I have just graduated from Grad School and am looking for anything full time, so I am pretty open and flexible with my schedule currently! I have a pretty strict schedule with my own fur baby, my cat has set meal times and set play times as well as a 15 hallway walk everyday! If you have specific instructions to care for your pet, I will always honor that and make sure they have the best of the best!

“Jenna was great- she had availability at the last minute, was super quick to respond to messages, and the peace of mind that came from her text updates about picking up the pup and their hangout together was so worth it. I'd definitely use her services again!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life! Since I was a kid, we’ve always had dogs in the house, and as I grew older, I became the primary care taker of my dogs back home in Texas. I’m good at following complex regimens, from training details, feeding schedules, and medication administration! I’m am very flexible and comfortable around all dogs. I especially love larger pups. I have just graduated undergrad, so my availability has definitely freed up recently! I am available early mornings during the weekdays and most afternoons for both weekdays and weekends. To me, caring for pets also means giving them all the necessary attention! I love interacting with them at home with gentle play. Outside, I love to take my dogs to a park and let them run around and get their exercise. My dogs love to fetch, so I can’t forget to take a ball with me on our walks! I am always watching for the time, making sure that they are eating and pottying on schedule! My ultimate goal is to ensure that a pet is completely comfortable and safe, whether that means running around with them or taking a very calm walk!!

“It was great to leave my Gus with a stranger! Gus has never been away from me and doesn't get much interaction with dogs. Malik communicated with me the first night to say things were going well and them followed up the next night with a photo! I highly recommend Malik and will use him again!”

“Shannon is great. She sent me pictures of Flopi twice a day. She also let me know if he was eating and if he was playful or shy with the other dogs.”

“Alex took great care of my Mini Aussie Tango these last several days, including timely communication and updates! His place with the large enclosed grass yard was perfect for Tango to get her energy out. She really enjoyed her time with Alex’s dog Reese and came home happy and exhausted!”

“Kera was a wonderful sitter. My wife and I felt very comfortable having her look after our pup, Milo. She provided great feedback and updates and made sure we knew what was going on as needed. We could tell that Milo was enjoying his stay with her.”

“We are a Rey's Roof dog family. The animals in his care have the time of their lives. Rey's Roof is the dog equivalent of an all inclusive resort vacation for dogs. If Rey has a spot available, take it!”

“Cinco was well looked after and cared for! Donnell sent photos and communicated well, letting us know of Cinco’s well being. We have just found our new Rover for our senior pup :) thanks Donnell!!”

About: I've been a huge pet lover since I was little! I've taken care of my family and neighbor's dogs since I was little, and I recently started taking care of family friends' dogs in my own home. I have experience administering meds for doggies on medication, love working out so I can keep up with any active ones, and have done grooming before! I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs, as well as small doggies all the way to big dogs. I love em all!! I just graduated college, and I am looking for full-time industry jobs, so I am home/available all day, and I'm ready to build my routines/schedules around your fur baby and make them my top priority! For boarding, I provide a secure, pet-proofed home. I like to do slow/controlled introductions with my roommates (all female college students) and me and keep close supervision at all times, especially in the beginning. I have an unfenced yard, but I never let untrained and/or unleashed doggies out there without constant supervision. I will follow all your care instructions and medication schedules. Everything mentioned applies for house sitting and dog walking! I do not own any pets myself, so I am open for doggies who cannot be around other animals.
